Day By Day

I would’ve thought “pump or plumbing?”

    • eon

They also act superior to non-liberals of any ethnicity. “Can’t you see that I’m infinitely smarter than you are? Oh, you can’t? Well, that’s because you’re stupid, and your not agreeing with me proves it.””

Everything about “progressives” is a circular argument based on their self-perceived superiority. It’s one more reason their philosophy is in all significant ways merely a pseudo-religious cult.

      One that worships themselves.

      • Henry

I particularly love their all-purpose self-proving argument, β€œYou’re in denial.”

  • Delilah T

Okay, but who’s the baby catcher this time?

Oh, wait – I know: Marcus Welby, MD.

    • Bill G

Not Ben Casey? Oh, wait, I think he was a surgeon, and I’m sure he’s retired by now.

    • Delilah T

I was also thinking Doc Adams from ‘Gunsmoke’.

  • Deplorable B Woodman

Sounds like Jo is talking to Zed.

  • Calvin

I’m wondering how far along are the rest of the women…I’ve heard that sometimes one woman going into labor can induce other women into labor.

    • kadaka

Looked like Jan already dropped baby Kavanaugh around Oct 11. Naomi is still heavily pregnant.

  • Too Tall

All techies think alike. Javier would ask the same question.

    • WayneM

Logical processes work because logical processes work!

      • kadaka

Open spreadsheet. Over three columns, add 2.25 and 2.3, result should be 4.55.

Format the columns to whole numbers.

There it is in perfect computer logic, 2 + 2 = 5. Trust the tech.

        • Punta Gorda

Don’t let the carry bit bite you in the ass. That’s how Y2K hysteria started.

          • Henry

It was more than hysteria. The only reason that nothing much happened is that an extensive amount of work was completed before D-Day to fix it. If no one had thought about it happening before D-Day came, we would have had catastrophe. Luckily, we had industries like insurance and finance routinely dealing with future dates who encountered the problem years before it hit everybody.

kadaka, it ain’t science if it cannot be falsified. (ref Karl Potter) No matter how many times you only see white swans you cannot prove all swans are white. One black swan falsifies the theory. So there is no such thing as settled science. And regardless of the studies I have seen their assertions falsified in day to day life. It’s time to revise their theories or scrap them entirely. I only dumb down the conversation when talking to dummies regardless of whether they are Polacks, Indians, Blacks, Italians, Irish, British, Jewish, or pink Chickladorians. I hope this did not go over your head….

    • Lucius Severus Pertinax

      Pink Chickladorians????? Holy Flamin’ deLameters!!!

      • MasterDiver

What? No Blue Kalonians? Your report is niether complete nor conclusive! (I’d mention Gamilons, but that’s another Universe).

        Zar Belk!

    • kadaka

“I only dumb down the conversation…”

So in the context of my previous (joking) comment, you’re willingly implicating yourself as a liberal?

Relax friend, we’ll help you get through this. Recovery is possible.

      • Wotan

        LOLOL kadaka! Hang Loose Bro!

    • Bill G

And of course, don’t bother saying anything to Rigellians, since they do not hear.

      • eon

Since their sense of perception is innate, they don’t need to. Besides, they know perfectly well what you’re thinking, anyway.

  • Bill G

As an aside, in one of Sharon Lee and Steve Miller’s novels of Liad, a character was carrying a heavy-duty handgun called a LeDameter.

    • eon

Let’s not forget Mike Morrison as “Nasty Jim” Brannigan with his .460 Kolibri in The Venus Belt by L. Neil Smith.

I’m surprised nobody came up with a Tewislon.

  • DavidM

Am I the only one who has NOT been getting my daily email subscription to this fabulous toon?

    Just asking…

    Much Love to all-o-y’all.

    • Chris Muir

Huh.Anyone else not getting their feed burner feed of the toon?

      • Greg Drake

No problem here, Chris. By the way, thanks for all that swag!

        • Chris Muir

      • Punta Gorda

Not today’s. I usually get mine after I’ve read the site

  • PaulS

Headline actually seen just the other day:
β€œWhy is the US stock market weak? Because the economy is too strong.” (Howard Gold, 11/14/18)

    Makes total sense, no?.

Just think where the country could be if half the people figured out who is lying to them for real.

    • NotYetInACamp

      Evil knows no bounds.

  • Spin Drift

I’d just like to make a delayed comment to two days ago discussion of St*rF*ck’s swill. The last St*rF*ck’s I was in was two years ago in YuYao City China (west of Ningbo). We drove up in a week old Rolls Royce Ghost to get some coffee. I didn’t but my host and a fellow worker did. Smelled like burnt goose turds but hey its China the land of 1000 smells and none of them pleasant.

Cold Anger is going to turn into Hot Rage if the ProgLeft keeps this crap up.

  • JTC

    “Great minds, etc.”

Not only important to have them, but to have them in sync and to recognize that you have them and be willing to use them, way in advance of more radical control solutions.

Z and D both know that.

  • James Gemind

I keep going back to that episode of Rosanne, where Jackie finally had the baby.

Dan walks into the Hospital, saying ‘Yeah, DJ said Jackie’s water heater broke…’ πŸ™‚

  • Delilah T

Off=topic, I know, but this engaging, handsome sort of fellow… OK, this large pile of s—–ism personified has been arrested for leading a bunch of Antifas to a ‘We the People’ rally in Philadelphia where they pepper-sprayed and beat up and robbed two Marine Reservists, then fled. Charming sort, ain’t he?

Police are still looking for the others.’
