    The underlying theme of our current story arc has to do with the consequences of illegal immigration and the urgent need to defend against this invasion of our sovereign nation. Keeping that in mind, I’m asking all DBD readers to please view this extremely trenchant and terrifying (to say nothing of sickening) article published only two days ago by Hoover Institution. I consider it to be the definitive word on this critical topic:
    The Diversity of Illegal Immigration

    • NotYetInACamp

      Well put.
      The invasion (asymmetric) of our nation continues.
      Much of that also happened in South Florida.

      The reasons for it go back to the movie El Dorado (1966);

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Dorado_(1966_film)

      The point of the movie is summed up when Cole Thornton (John Wayne) observes of Bart Jason (Edward Asner);

      “Jason, I see you don’t carry a gun. So I guess you always ‘hire it done’.”

      This is the heart of leftist “multiculturalism”. The idea that the enlightened elite’, in their globalist world, can move “inferior races” around as they please to achieve their goal of hegemony.

      Need cheap labor? Import Mexicans.

      Need to assure Democratic Party rule forever? Import Mexicans and etc. accustomed to one-party rule and make them voters.

      Need your recreational drugs so you can get and stay high forever? Ditto.

      Want people you don’t like, like “deplorables”, killed so they’ll no longer be a roadblock on your path to your Utopia?

      Get Mexican criminals, Somali criminals, jihadists, and everybody else you can think of with a hatred of Americans to do it for you.

      You can show clean hands afterward, and incidentally use the violence you helped create as an excuse to disarm those whose deaths you seek.

      The left here and in Europe believe that they can co-opt any such group to their Cause. The fact that they have never co-opted their “domestic opposition” they ascribe to that opposition being both evil and too stupid to understand how wonderful they (the left) truly are.

      They also believe that these various groups can be co-opted because believing in nothing but their own perfection themselves, they assume that anyone who professes any belief, in Allah or “La Raza”, doesn’t really mean it and are just saying things like that to deceive others. They believe that even after the Triumph of their primitivist “tools”, such “tools” will understand that only the enlightened ones can run the world, and will bow down and worship them. See Manson “Helter Skelter” scenario;

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helter_Skelter_(Manson_scenario)

      The left is at war with reality. and they want their Janissaries to do the actual killing. They forget, or more likely have never bothered to look up, what Machiavelli said about mercenaries;

      Mercenaries and auxiliaries are useless and dangerous; and if one holds his state based on these arms, he will stand neither firm nor safe; for they are disunited, ambitious and without discipline, unfaithful, valiant before friends, cowardly before enemies; they have neither the fear of God nor fidelity to men, and destruction is deferred only so long as the attack is; for in peace one is robbed by them, and in war by the enemy.

      …mercenary captains are either capable men or they are not; if they are, you cannot trust them, because they always aspire to their own greatness, either by oppressing you, who are their master, or others contrary to your intentions; but if the captain is not skilful, you are ruined in the usual way.

      The Prince, Chapter XII

      As Orwell said, “What can you do against the lunatic who is more intelligent than yourself, who gives your arguments a fair hearing and then simply persists in his lunacy?”

        What you can do is establish and enforce rule of law where the power of the government is constrained by the inherent right of the individual.., “A Republic, ma’am… if you can keep it.”

        This explains why the Leftists keep insisting the Constitution is a “living document” and open to their interpretation… since the Constitution inhibits their hope for regressive change…

    • Delilah T

      I see that the bulk of the pendejos go where it’s warm. If they come here where I live, the weather is C-O-L-D in the early fall through spring and shows no mercy to idiots. And also, la policia have zero sympatico for them,

      • Henry

        And still, Dearborn. I wouldn’t have expected it either, but there it is.

      • interventor

        However, the Middle Eastern invaders are quite content in the Scandinavian nations and Germany.

  • Punta Gorda

    “…and they had us up against the wall,
    “Hey it’s only blood grain alcohol!…”

  • Bill

    Consensus bad. Consent good. This ends badly.

    • Potentially. The instant response in such a situation will require same.

    • Henry

      Yup, consensus sure is girly. But by formal definition, consensus isn’t just majority opinion, it’s total agreement with no objectors.

  • Paul

    So speaking of Robots ! went to see “Mile 22” yesterday and in the opemmimg scenes one of the “alphas” get a 1 second cameo !

    • TomZ

      Did Marky Mark ever get his pardon or is he still committing federal crimes in movies?

  • Delilah T

    Yin/yang on the hubcap. Nice touch.

    • GWB

      LOL! Good eye!

  • JTC

    “Consensus” = rule by committee. No. That’s why democracy doesn’t work.

    OTOH, absolute power corrupts absolutely. That’s why dictatorship doesn’t work.

    So what to do? Aha! We will forge us a Republic! And then see if we can keep it.

    It ain’t easy.

  • JTC

    So Traitor John is dead.

    A disappointment to his father and grandfather, an inept wastrel who lived off false entitlement, some would say stolen valor, and absolutely a traitor to his country.

    Hard now to believe I once had a Maverick/Milf sticker on my bumper ca. ’08. More for the milf than him, and let’s face it the alternative was unthinkable.

    Sorry for his family’s loss, but not sorry to see him go.

    Enjoy your just deserts, “Mav”.

      He gave us Miss Sarah, and Miss Sarah was the first to endorse The Donald.
