The fact that Jan is picking up on this stuff is new… lol

  • Grunt GI

Hmmm. “Save a horse, ride a cowgirl.”
Wait, isn’t that how the song goes?!

    • B Woodman

I think it goes, “Save a horse, ride a cowBOY”. But since I haven’t had any cowgirls come up and offer to ride me lately (being over 60 yo), what do I know? (sigh) Sometimes it sucks to grow old(er).

      • Pamela

What’s being over 60 have to do with riding a Cowgirl. All depends on being properly seated.

        • Grunt GI

          Ummm. Just. Wow.

          • David Gonzalez

Yo, FO! After ‘Saders, put in a tour with B (MOD)s, VP-90 at NAS Glenview (both of which have also gone away). I remember the day when a crew of Weekend Warriors hit the packed snow. Screw #1 tore loose and took out #2 as well! Never a dull day around the Zoo!

        • NotYetInACamp

          Smart thinking Cowgirl.

        • JTC

Nice theory, Miz P. 🙁 More often a girlcow.

As a fellow sexagenarian (such cruel irony) though, BW inadvertently hits on a viable option: Sometimes it sucks to grow.

          • Swansonic

It sounds like a lot of things will be sizzlin’…..

And they’ll also be cooking up some BBQ t the DDQ…

      • interventor

Not getting to be 60, sucks more. Says, soixante neuf.

        • Delilah T.

          Wait’ll you hit 80, dear.

      • Um…does it matter on how you ride the Cowgirl?

        • doc

It probably does … to her

          • So is that why the phrase “Git along little doggy” is useful?

      • Old Codger

BW, getting old purely sucks but what’s the alternative? Getting DEAD! Me? I’ll take old. Getting dead might be better but I’d rather wait to find out. As someone once said, “The problem with dying is there ain’t no ‘do-overs’ if you don’t like the conditions.”

  • Kafiroon

This should result in numerous comments based on “playing” and with what.

    • That’s right…how does the old joke go:
“What do puppies and boobehs have in common?”
“Boys like to take both out and play with them.”

  • B Woodman

    Kafiroon,
I’m riffing off the “party” line (see what I did there?).
It all depends on what party (political or otherwise), and what they want to play (back to you), and to, with, or against whom.
If it’s the GOPe RINOs and/or the DemonRat Libtards, considering the power games they like to play against US citizens, well, those are some party games I’d rather not play.

    • Kafiroon

That “party” seems to coming our way, whether we want it or not. How soon, depends upon which group of crazies does what in the next year or two at best. After that…

  • Spin Drift

For this week only, “to party like its 1999.”

    Spin
    Molon Labe
    War Damn Eagle

    • Norm

How about 1994? A victory for the good guys. Wasted that time, maybe no could be different.

      • Norm

        Or “now”.

  • capn

The new outfits or the swimming hole scene? The new outfits or the swimming hole scene?

Not Fair Muir. I get too distracted when women play the old
    bare-midriff-with-wiggle gambit.

I am so glad to have been born male and not blind … sigh

The new outfits or the swimming hole scene? The new outfits or the swimming hole scene?

  • JTC

“Is it so wrong to just wanna party?”

Yes. In every connotation. It’s a weasel word. I hate it.

Girls just wanna have fun? Hell yes, whole ‘nother story. Boys too.

  • Grunt GI

    Shoot why not both? -/:)

Seems to me that when Chris has all the boobeh goodness, he should spread the wealth.

That way, some of us old farts can still feel the Bern.

And no, not the burn some of my shipmates got in Subic Bay….that was the dreaded Russian disease “rotchercockoff”. Not good.
    Not good at all.

    • Bill G

And then there was the time when ‘Old Smokey Was Blue’.

  • Delilah T.

Just give me a few firefighter calendar shots. It’s always for a good cause, you know.

  • I am quite looking forward to the expose’. And backwards. And sideways.

  • Wildman

Can’t wait to see the prototype…

    • MasterDiver

Perhaps we should set up a design review team?

      Zar Belk!

      • Hmm, yes, would have to do a close inspection of said garments to ensure a proper amount (or lack) of proper coverage of certain…assets…

      • Old Codger

I second the motion. Have Jan and Sam BOTH model their own design and the guys (us here voting with comments) decide. It’s the only fair way to do it.

(Was gonna say the “democratic way but 1. This ain’t a democracy. and 2. I shy away from doing anything the was the Democrats would.)

        • B Woodman

Don’t leave the ladies of DBD out of the voting.

  • Bill G

Ah, yes, the GOP’s Beltway Boys are fond of their little games, aren’t they?

    • capn

For those here who might still think that the GOPe and the Demonrats are somehow one good and the other bad I would, with your permission Chris, refer you to the most recent offering from Fred Reed.

      http:/ /fredoneverything .org/the-mask-comes-off-putrefaction-most-foul/
      (remove the gaps to activate)
Fred is a kind of “Chris Muir” without images.

      ….

      IMHO …
Left wing – right wing … all on the same buzzard feeding on your money.

      • Chris Muir

been reading fred for years, good call!

  • JIMV

Sadly, I fear everyone will end up overdressed…sigh!

  • Ozymandias

You’ve just got to love Jan.. she never misses a thing.
