Hmmm. “Save a horse, ride a cowgirl.”
Wait, isn’t that how the song goes?!

I think it goes, “Save a horse, ride a cowBOY”. But since I haven’t had any cowgirls come up and offer to ride me lately (being over 60 yo), what do I know? (sigh) Sometimes it sucks to grow old(er).

What’s being over 60 have to do with riding a Cowgirl. All depends on being properly seated.

Yo, FO! After ‘Saders, put in a tour with B (MOD)s, VP-90 at NAS Glenview (both of which have also gone away). I remember the day when a crew of Weekend Warriors hit the packed snow. Screw #1 tore loose and took out #2 as well! Never a dull day around the Zoo!

        Smart thinking Cowgirl.

      • April 27, 2016 at 10:16 pm

Nice theory, Miz P. 🙁 More often a girlcow.

As a fellow sexagenarian (such cruel irony) though, BW inadvertently hits on a viable option: Sometimes it sucks to grow.

It sounds like a lot of things will be sizzlin’…..

      • April 28, 2016 at 1:05 pm

So is that why the phrase “Git along little doggy” is useful?

BW, getting old purely sucks but what’s the alternative? Getting DEAD! Me? I’ll take old. Getting dead might be better but I’d rather wait to find out. As someone once said, “The problem with dying is there ain’t no ‘do-overs’ if you don’t like the conditions.”

This should result in numerous comments based on “playing” and with what.

    • April 27, 2016 at 10:23 pm

That’s right…how does the old joke go:
“What do puppies and boobehs have in common?”
“Boys like to take both out and play with them.”

    Kafiroon,
I’m riffing off the “party” line (see what I did there?).
It all depends on what party (political or otherwise), and what they want to play (back to you), and to, with, or against whom.
If it’s the GOPe RINOs and/or the DemonRat Libtards, considering the power games they like to play against US citizens, well, those are some party games I’d rather not play.

That “party” seems to coming our way, whether we want it or not. How soon, depends upon which group of crazies does what in the next year or two at best. After that…

The new outfits or the swimming hole scene? The new outfits or the swimming hole scene?

Not Fair Muir. I get too distracted when women play the old
    bare-midriff-with-wiggle gambit.

I am so glad to have been born male and not blind … sigh

“Is it so wrong to just wanna party?”

Yes. In every connotation. It’s a weasel word. I hate it.

Girls just wanna have fun? Hell yes, whole ‘nother story. Boys too.

    Shoot why not both? -/:)

Seems to me that when Chris has all the boobeh goodness, he should spread the wealth.

That way, some of us old farts can still feel the Bern.

And no, not the burn some of my shipmates got in Subic Bay….that was the dreaded Russian disease “rotchercockoff”. Not good.
    Not good at all.

I second the motion. Have Jan and Sam BOTH model their own design and the guys (us here voting with comments) decide. It’s the only fair way to do it.

(Was gonna say the “democratic way but 1. This ain’t a democracy. and 2. I shy away from doing anything the was the Democrats would.)

For those here who might still think that the GOPe and the Demonrats are somehow one good and the other bad I would, with your permission Chris, refer you to the most recent offering from Fred Reed.
