I was there 1/6, and you are correct, sir. Last time our leader decided he didn’t want to wade through a river of blood and turned away once he realized that our enemies were under no such compunction.

Too many of the “frogs” are in a comfort zone of social media distraction and “what can I do?” or “My vote doesn’t count so why bother…” mind sets. I know friends and family that acknowledge things aren’t good but have no motivation or inclination to change things. Easy to whine and complain, misery apparently DOES love company. Sadly I think more and more we are doomed as a nation and the Founding Fathers weep in their respective graves 🙁

With dreams like that, maybe Sam should develop a plan of action for when the real thing comes along.
1- Where to “quarantine” all the “sleeper” refugees? Consider shelter, food, health (showers, etc).
2- How to pay for it all? Idea (from another comic): make the refugees pay for their quarantine themselves out of their own pockets. Gunpowder doesn’t need welfare freeloaders.
3- Background checks. How to separate the patriots from the scorpions? Maybe Xavier could come up with a computer deep hack to get into any (three letter agency’s) files.
4- Something productive for the “refugees” to do while being vetted? Are the farmers and ranchers looking for hired hands? Ditches need digging? Roads need cleaning? Fry cooks?
And no working for free. They would get paid, and the pay applied to their quarantine.
No jobs even close to the levers of power/government. And not cops.
Might also work to uncover the real from the scorpions.

Excellent reflections, Chris. Spot on, even. Increasing numbers of Americans are realizing that it’s not at all hard to see the U.S. bifurcating into independent “blue” areas and independent “red” areas. Or even several such combinations (draw your own maps, everyone).
Everyone did draw their own map, just Google up “red/blue 2020 election map by county”. Shockingly awash in red from coast to coast to coast, as previously mentioned. Interrupted -and wrongly controlled- by the cities crammed with commies thieves and posers showing deep blue, the nasty evil tails wagging the dog who is just trying to escape, like these fibbers here…
I’ve shared a voting map of Texas, often. The whole state is covered in red except for most cities with populations of 100,000 or more.
The Cruz-Beto Senate race was too close for comfort due to the significant ideological differences.

The only thing is…there’s no such thing as an ‘independent’ blue anything. They produce nothing and without other people to take from they will not survive two weeks. It won’t take that long though, the ‘refugees’ and ‘oppressed minorities’ that flock to those cities will strip everyone else in it to the bone within two days, tops, just like a school of piranhas. It’s when the pickings run out in those cities and suburbs and they start heading to the countryside thinking they can just load up on free food forgetting that it hasn’t been processed yet and they have no idea how to even start that it’s going to get ugly. There are few ways to try and turn around a rampaging mob that fervently believes they’re ‘entitled’ to what you have…none of them work…that’s what they make backhoes for.
Farmers who take on a hired hand could be putting their family at risk. I’ve got a couple of new houses (neighbors) along land I can’t access from a road anymore. Two weeks ago I went up there by truck and exchanged phone numbers with both of them. One couple I had already met in the fall or winter when we were driving a tractor on the hard road. This week the husband seemed shaken and shared a ring camera video with me of a panel truck in front of his house and four Spanish speaking young men (military age) standing at his door.
If you turn in at my mailbox it is a mile to the house on field roads. A few weeks ago we had three non-English speaking workers outside between the house and the barn spraying herbicides on the power polls they followed across my dirt. I have a track-hoe and know how to use it.
