HB. And many more great ones.
Thomas saw this stuff way back then.

I posted some Islam facts on a friend’s site in a response. One of her friends said that I was barking mad. So I posted that video. 🙂
I also said how people have called me mad since high school when I spoke of the Bilderbergers (meeting today and tomorrow in Chantilly, Virginia), the NSA, and the trilateral commission. I had spoken to people at those meetings or members of the groups. A friend called me a conspiracy theorist and another said I needed a foil hat. She agreed. So I told her that I must need one as she had said it so nicely. There are many types of fun out there.
Maybe someday we will celebrate birthdays with foil hats. I am considering that for my next one. I try to stop the atrophy. But how to handle the entropy?

Clearly, the apocalypse is at hand – when Skye shows signs of common sense, the world as we know it is turned upside-down.

I can only hope that she has a relapse. Otherwise, what SHALL we do for a villain?

Wasn’t that the original name of ‘Yankee Doodle”, “The World Turned Upside Down”?

        The 300

Nope. Two different songs. You’re thinking of “The World Turned Upside Down” because it was played at the British surrender at Yorktown.

I wondered who’d be first to catch the Revolutionary War reference. Good job!

        Morgul Lord

Actually, it wasn’t. If I recall correctly, “Gentleman Johnny” Burgoyne may have written ‘The World Turned Upside Down’. But I know it was played by the British Army at Yorktown when it was surrendering to Washington

There’s always the H-100 terminator (aka Hilary), human flesh over a hyper-gelatinous blame chassis. It has no morals or conscious, It doesn’t feel responsibility or remorse. And it positively will not stop until the country is dead.

That made me laugh so hard I scared my dog!

You can stop the H-100, you just have to remove the decaying reactive-progressive core that powers it. Easier said than done, though.

You need a villian? Just go to Washington DC, your state capitol, your county seat, etc. In all of these locations you will find those who would tell you how you may live your life, and with the power of force at their disposal.

Fear not. Even if the sky doesn’t fall, Mr. Muir will not leave us without an antagonist for the conservatarians of the DD to beat the stuffing out of. It’s kinda fun to watch Zed and Red’s heads spin over the change in Skye. The suspense is killing me. I hope it lasts…

“Society is produced by our wants, and government by our wickedness; the former promotes our happiness POSITIVELY by uniting our affections, the latter NEGATIVELY by restraining our vices. The one encourages intercourse, the other creates distinctions. The first is a patron, the last a punisher.”

    Common Sense indeed.

C’mon Skye. You can do it. Keep coming into the light. Much more discourse and perhaps intercourse to come.

    🙂

She will likely remain a recovering libtard from now on, with relapses and constant doubts and soul searching. So welcome her back, and keep an eye on her!

    • June 3, 2017 at 9:40 am

      “a recovering libtard…”

As are we many. Even Mr. Paine in his brilliance on common sense and reason died as something of a lib and quite the agnostic.

There is truth in many lies. Belief is not absolute. Everything is a process. As Skye will find. So must we all.

Tsk! The state of some people’s education. First, not knowing Biblical reference to “Doubting Thomas” (even if you’re not Christian or religious), and second, not knowing American historical reference to Thomas Paine. Maybe time for some “accidentally on purpose” re-education. While Skye is in this wholesome mood, leave a Bible out and open, ditto a history book, maybe a computer on and to a website page. Curiosity will do the rest.
(BTW, nice conflation of the two Thomases. Well played)

Looks like my call that Skye was all part of a dream, missed the mark. Oh well! As the saying goes, “Truth is stranger than fiction.”, to which I must add, especially if its in the midst of a work of fiction. This situation has many interesting possibilities. As usual, I shall be on pins and needles awaiting the next plot twist or turn.

    Happy b-day, Pamela. I hope it’s a great one!

Until the swamp is drained and it’s venal occupants evicted, there will never be a lack of ne’er-do-wells nor scalawags. Watching the dawning of Skye could be entertaining… almost as much so as that of Jan…

There’s so many puns to be made contrasting the wit & wisdom of Paine versus the stupor & snivel of the SWJs about their pain…

I’ve been a reader for about a month now; introduced by a friend. What fun and I include in that characterization the comments. Some of you have gotten to know each other quite well, at least virtually. Very cool. May I add birthday greetings to you, Pamela? “It was the third of June, another sleepy, dusty delta day…….”

Anyway, I’m hooked. I’ll be hanging with you for the long haul. A wonderful weekend to all.

    The TATTOO. Fumble fingers

  • June 3, 2017 at 8:01 pm

Awareness of Miss P’s big day came about several days ago in a discussion of Skye’s tat removal and P’s stated plan to get a small Firebird for her birthday, my query if it was for 60, and our resident red firebrand’s unabashed and proud response that it would be 62. That happens to be where sweet wifey and I are now, with wifey flipping the page to 63 next week on 6/9.

I think I might link to a pic of what 63 looks like at casa jtc at that time (her not me; I won’t be 63 ’til August but that wizened image on the old blog link belies that I am her junior by a few months). And I think it would be nice if we could get a glimpse, if not of our bawdy Pamela herself, at least of her fiery phoenix tat? Hmmm? Even if not, what does it say beyond what we already “know” of her, that this image is her choice to represent her attitude at being, appropriately enough, a sexagenarian?

    https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/06/aa/15/06aa15fdc62b90ffa86d49811de086b0.jpg

With a heart added. Kind of an embodiment of the attitude, instincts, and proclivities of future Sam, is what I think…pretty cool.

Hope M’Lady had a great day today.

Yeah JT, I believe that was May 20th when she told us about the tattoo she was planning to get for her birthday. I’m going to be 70 next year. Folks tell me I don’t look it, and I try real hard not to act it. LOL….

Pamela, Happy Birthday and many to come!

I am gobsmacked at the crazy stuff going on in the world right now, but every boiling pot boils out at some point, if not kept filled. This pot is beginning to boil over, which can easily put out the fire it sits on.

We owe it to the world to not give up. Not everyone is asleep or in denial.
