Bulls eye. Bingo. Point, set, match, tournament. Grand Slam wins the World’s Series. Checkered flag. Victory. Etc.

    Winning enough.

    They fear thinking.

    And they REALLY fear doing.

As they should, on both counts.

Good grief those girls are as big as their Mama!

I would say it is unrealistic how quickly they have grown…

Except that is exactly what happens in real life.

My Sweet-16 granddaughter takes her first solo flight Saturday in pursuit of her dream to fly the big jets…about five minutes ago she was 6, playing in our pool.

Going to have to post some bittersweet then and now pics come Sunday.

All of this thinking and doing is all about them.

There is nothing the politically correct mobs of the Left fear and loathe more than a single, independent mind capable of thought. Nothing.

One of the best passages from “How Green Was My Valley”, I saw this when I was around eight years old, and it has stayed with me for nearly sixty years:

      Mr. Gruffydd (Walter Pigeon):
You’ve been lucky, Huw. Lucky to suffer and lucky to spend these weary months in bed. For so God has given you a chance to make the spirit within yourself. And as your father cleans his lamp to have good light, so keep clean your spirit… By prayer, Huw. And by prayer, I don’t mean shouting, mumbling, and wallowing like a hog in religious sentiment. Prayer is only another name for good, clean, direct thinking. When you pray, think. Think well what you’re saying. Make your thoughts into things that are solid. In that way, your prayer will have strength, and that strength will become a part of you, body, mind, and spirit.

It has long been my opinion that the true reason the left’s elites fear gun owners is not a fear of armed insurrection, but of the fact that the person who buys a gun for self defense has thought about being their own first-responder and acted on that thought.
And that person might just think about what else they can do for him or her self, and do it. Too many people deciding to do without our bee-luvved gummint will destroy the liberal agenda and party of today.

Their main fear is that when they want to let that little, throbbing reptilian hindbrain (the R-complex) that governs their actions go, and they want to accordingly revert to primitivist, animalistic KILL KILL KILL WAAAHHH!!! mode- they might just get seriously hurt as a consequence of those actions.

The only real “governor” on the actions of the left is their fear of what might happen to them if they try those “actions” on the wrong potential victim. Unlike the Islamists they admire, they haven’t developed full-on fatalism. When they say “Sacrifices must be made in the name of the Cause!” they mean “somebody else, not me”.

As with a tyrant, the true test of a leftist is that they consider themselves invaluable and everyone else expendable.

This is why they want the only guns in society to be in the hands of their sworn minions. And no, they never consider the probability of those minions turning on their “enlightened rulers”.

Dunno who said this, but given the Left’s frenzied push for “gun control” these days, it seems even more relevant.

“Guns in the hands of the common man frighten and anger the bureaucrat. Not because of the power of the gun, but because of the SPIRIT OF THE MAN.”

As I sat here on my birthday, two years ago today, I wondered if America would survive four years of the Hillary & Huma nightmare. I thought of the cast of scumbags who would be back in power, like Lanny and Loretta and all the rest. I honestly felt like America as we know it was doomed.

Now on my Birthday today, there is a smile on my face. We have beaten back the Socialists and the Communists. Lanny and the rest are merely Useless Idiots, beating their heads against the wall as Trump wins, over and over.

Who could have guessed that The Art Of The Deal would save America?

This is a quote from an article in Financial Times, about Mr. Trump’s visit to the Chinese.

“The Chinese see Trump as rejecting the idea that U.S. leaders should be managing the relative decline of the U.S. They think Mr Trump feels he is presiding over the relative decline of his great nation. It is not that the current order does not benefit the US. The problem is that it benefits others more in relative terms. To make things worse the US is investing billions of dollars and a fair amount of blood in supporting the very alliances and international institutions that are constraining America and facilitating China’s rise.”

It may be buried or ignored by the leftreds who want to deny the reality that is right in their faces, but it is happening.

The noise of their heads exploding will be music to my ears.

In its own way, I am sure the impact of the watermelon rivaled that of a live Mk 80 series bomb.

Probably a lot more fun and a much better story, as well.
