I am enjoying bringing up the rear of the little parade in panel two…

But I can’t help imagining the same viewpoint of those pussyhatters.

The artist giveth, and taketh away.

I’m protesting that there aren’t more pussy parades.

Governor JB Pritzker via Twitter wants to remind everyone the State of Illinois is proudly a Sanctuary State through and through, thus ready to take in many more migrants.

The state of Illinois refuses to coordinate with federal immigration enforcement. I signed a law ensuring local law enforcement does the same.

We’re doing all we can to protect our residents. #WelcomingIL

In other news, today’s Florida Man story, Port St. Lucie: Watch: Man who asked Walmart clerk for ‘anything that would kill 200 people,’ explains his actions

It was not reported that the man was dissatisfied by being offered a ball of nylon twine so it probably didn’t happen but could have.

I would have offered him ten cartons of menthols and a six-pack of Roundup.

I’d have gone even more basic, and offered a cigarette lighter. Then again, somehow the line from “Our Man Flint” is stuck in my head. The one where he declines the briefcase full of weapons and shows his lighter, claiming it has 42 (or some such) lethal functions. Then adds “43, if you count lighting cigarettes”.

That guy in Japan killed 30 people with a knife or two and some matches.

Absolutely wonderful ‘spy-spoof’ flic. James Coburn was perfect for the part. Loved the theme song so much, learned how to play it. TTBOMM, the briefcase had 65 weapons while Flint’s lighter……”This has 82 functions, 83 if you wish to light a cigar.”
My favorite though was the wristwatch. 😀

And Lordy did I have the damdest case of the hots for Gila Golan back then……she’d have made a perfect addition to the Double D. 😀 😀 😀

Thanks for the details I’d forgotten; and I must have mentally added the “lethal” with the same faulty memory. Coburn was great at comic suspense parts. And Ms. Golan is great, indeed.

I read that article and what jumped out at me was that this clown decided to make an ass of himself because he witnessed a gun sale to “a guy who looked like a white nationalist”.

So based on his personal hate and bigotry, he condemned a guy who passed all the checks and filled out all the forms. In other words, a law abiding citizen who was white.

Another pussy parade. Hmm. With men attending from foreign countries that have not had sexual congress for how long? California Liberal Girlfriends, you might want to buy out the production lines of Forex and Trojan. Plus get some antibiotics, antivirals and aids drugs. Oh and lots of lubricants and booze for the pain.

I think the reasoning behind DACA/Dreamer was rather like Himmler’s comment on the Lebensborn system, that is “The German baby of 1940 is the German soldier of 1960”.

Or in this case, the army of new one-party Democrat voters who would ensure progressive hegemony forever.

I had heard they were stopping the “pink pussy hat” thing as not inclusive enough and somewhat insulting, as not all women have vaginas, some have penii, and they leave out the men with vaginas. Plus “pink pussy” is somehow a white privilege racist thing because it excludes vulvas of color that aren’t pink/white. Seriously.

I’d say that entire lot should be the first to experience the legal effects of a “red flag” law, based solely on their degree of mental imbalance.

But of course, like Bart Jason (Ed Asner) in El Dorado (1967), they don’t carry a gun; they always “hire it done”.

That is the best part. Look at the solid blue places their “demonstrations” are staged. So dark Blue it could be called Navy Blue and conformance to acceptable thought and doctrine is almost “Universal” (if you know what is good for you). A bunch of rabid “Regressive” Dependocrats showing their “solidarity” by trashing a Democrat city and obstructing the traffic, business and daily life of a few million other Democrats who by definition agree with them. It’s hilarious to watch them attack and eat their own for not being Pure Enough.

Seems I recall some pretty incendiary quotes and posts from the pussyhatters and their supporters…wonder if they will be targeted as the terrorist groups they are?

This piece is fairly long but does an excellent job of illustrating what a slippery slope we tread when we start trying to preemptively target terrorists and wackjobs.

    http://dailytorch.com/2019/08/after-el-paso-and-dayton-are-we-about-to-unleash-the-thought-police-on-the-american-people/

Not sure what the best alternative is, if there is one, to target (as it were) real threats prior to them acting on them. But I do know the one that has the best chance of stopping them when they do, one to which I helped provide the means for many years…if the first potential victim of one has the tools and the training to stop him dead in his tracks, the only homicide in that instance will be the wackjob. And there are actually quite a few instances where that has probably happened, but you can’t prove a negative and the megaphones of the leftist media has no interest in reporting it when it has or might have done so.

It’s a tough one Mr. President, but one thing for sure is that red flag laws and other infringements on the rights the many to snare the needle in the haystack is problematic at best and unconstitutional at worst. And participating to any degree at all in preventing law-abiding people from possessing the means to stop the wackjobs in real time will only enable and encourage more of them.

I think more attention needs to be paid to mental health to be sure, but I balk at violating individual rights in the name of public safety without major checks on the enforcement.
After all, these mass shootings are just fancy ways to commit suicide by disturbed young men who want to go out with a bang. Even their “manifestos” are just incoherent rants for the consumption of the media to that end.

    I’ll say it again, and keep saying it;

Send all the illegals to Red States until after the Census! Losing those numbers will cripple the power of Blue States Like California, Illinois, and New York, to name just a few.

    https://www.archives.gov/federal-register/electoral-college/allocation.html

California has Fifty Five Electoral votes right now because of illegals. NY has 29.

Just imagine taking 8-10 votes away from CA, 3-4 from NY and NJ and PA, and sending them to Red States…

… Think what it would do to their Congressional Representation 😈

    • August 9, 2019 at 8:18 pm

Understand the sentiment but the numbers don’t wash and the actual electoral impact would be essentially nil.

Of the 2 million or so illegals in Cali about 1.5M are age-eligible to vote, the criteria used to assign electors to the EC. So of their 57, only about 2.5 are due to the illegal population and that ratio won’t be changed appreciably by the new wave. We could ship them all to red states and it would have almost no effect on the balance, even if that were physically and practically possible, which of course it isn’t.

Certainly their numbers will have long-term effect if the numbers continue to grow and their birth rates exceed citizens greatly but you are talking a generation for that to have real altering effect. More critical would be the impact as actual replacement voters if they are given voting rights and that of course is the Leftist longer game plan, but it is their effect on the distribution of free shit and the power and influence that carries that is most harmful to us all near term.

And of course all is moot in terms of the effect on the current cycle as the 2010 census is the basis for the upcoming 2020 elections, after which depending on outcome nothing much else will really matter.

Trump’s promise to send illegals to “sanctuaries” is mostly a tongue-in-cheek jab and intended to be punitive as you can be sure he understands all of the above; we sure as hell don’t want to punish ourselves, which is all the redistribution you suggest would achieve. Don’t know where you are, but I sure as fuck don’t want more of them and the very real negative and immediate effects they do inflict, here in very marginally red Fla.

Let’s stick to the critical need to repatriate the invaders to whence they came and stop the free in-flow that is the agenda of the left and the unsustainable strain on the citizens of this Republic so that we will still have one to pass to our next generation and not to the next generations of those from everywhere but here.

        Kafiroon

Yup. we have enough illegals killing people on the roads, in their homes, and all the other crime they commit here.
We barely survive the voting fraud know along with the total whack jobs that ran in the midterms here and have an avid purpose to destroy this country.
We certainly do not need more of them here.

LA Times: Nearly 84,000 duplicate voter records found in audit of California’s ‘motor voter’ system

Separately, the audit found additional errors in voter registration related to party preference. Investigators wrote that 171,145 DMV records contained entries indicating a person’s political party but no such “associated designation” within the data received by state elections officials.

Since government funding can be allocated based on party registration, like with the income-tax check-off presidential election fund, I wonder if “of course” the errors were randomly distributed among the many parties instead of favoring a particular party.
