So, an inquisition, or an out’emquisition? Burn’em at the stake, or ????

    NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition!
    Get the comfy chair!I

Monty Python would be so proud of you, CM!
You even included Biggles aviator helmet and goggles!

  • WayneM

Despite the madness & turmoil since the 2016 election, things continue to move forward in a positive manner.

Imagine, if you dare, what things would look like if Hillary had succeeded in manipulating the electorate into her desired coronation? OR if the Deep State Cabal had succeeded in forcing the removal of the duly elected POTUS based on nothing more than their fetid imaginations and a urine-stained “dossier”?

The zombie-like moans of the Dems for impeachment and the Fake Corporate News Manufacturing weren’t all that compelling to anyone with functioning brains… Imagine if they still held sway?

  • Pamela

At least they haven’t gotten to the point of demanding the return of Auto-Da-Fé

    • kadaka

Watching the modern outrage mob at work, they’d rather seize you, flash fry you to crispy, and make you live with the scars.

  • cz93x62

No one with an IQ above par golf pays attention to MSM. I don’t know how they keep the bills paid.

    • WayneM

      Most of them don’t actually…

I’m in Canada and our current Prime Minster has responded to intensive lobbying by created a “media fund” of $600 million Canadian tax dollars… and they’re currently working on the criteria to allow “credible media” to access funds. That’s completely aside from the $1.3 billion given to the state broadcaster, the CBC…

  • NotYetInACamp

Look. Even a 14 year old named Soph sees them and expects all of their shenanigans coming.
    https://youtu.be/iqw_Zo49IPY

And Australia went Conservative (Liberal Party as in classical liberal, not US “Liberal.”) again when they were predicted to lose by the bought media with over 90% certainty. Shades of the 2016 USA election.
Even in Oz they expected them. Now if hey would just end immigration of those that wish to conquer them, it would be better.

  • NotYetInACamp

Let us hope and ray that enough Europeans see their inquisitors and vote to oust them in the upcoming European Parliament elections.
The EU Parliament is a show horse organization. All laws are proposed to them by the EU Commission. The EU Parliament can vote for or against the laws. If the EU Parliament votes against the law proposed, the EU Commission can vote to pass the law anyway.
It’s good for show and can be good theater.

  • Punta Gorda

Not gonna happen. Any time the populus at large rejects them. They froth, blow smoke and arrange for a do over.

Just look at the so called Brexit.

    Same old song and dance.

    • interventor

The UK will hold elections for the EU Parliament May 23rd. The Brexit Party, headed by Nigel Farage is head and shoulders above Tories and Labour. Labour is almost at extinction level. Unless Brexit occurs soon after, the new delegates will sit. Hope they film it, with Farage and a majority Brexit party, it’ll be somewhere between Fawlty Towers and Blackadder.

      • Ronal Morse

But, they have a cunning plan…

  • I must say, I did like that “burn them at the stake” comment.

    • Delilah T.

P.S. I miss real comedy like Monty Python and Jackie Gleason and those times when Dean Martin and Foster Brooks got together.

      • Cliff

I find it incredulous that anyone would vote for that crowd.

      • Christopher Cole

Delilah, or Red Skelton. That man was FUNNY!!

        • kadaka

But Red Skelton did blackface therefore is now unmentionable and all footage of his performances is banned from viewing as it supports racism.

          • Henry

And Jackie Gleason made jokes about wife beating. And Monty Python ridiculed poofters, cross-dressers, and men who wanted to have babies. And Jack Benny kept a “slave.” And George Burns was patriarchal.

You know, all the things that are genuinely humorous, but are now outlawed by our current wave of Leninist Puritans.

            Q. How many femininists does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

            A. THAT’S NOT FUNNY!

          • JTC

When a lefturd starts in with that shit I tell ’em,

“You want racism and misogyny? Just get your rap on!” and dare them to defend it.

That is always met with stunned silence.

          • kadaka

JTC, about 90% of rap music summarizes as “I’m so rich, you’re my bitch!” Might be higher. Includes girl rappers too.

          • Christopher Cole

kadaka, I do not remember him ever doing blackface and I have a lot of the DVDs of his material. This is not to claim he never did blackface, just that I have no memory of seeing it.

I love how he breaks the 4th wall and makes it work.

          • JTC

Yeah, the rappers themselves are just pampered pets that bite the hands that feed them with all their reverse ism’s; but it’s the enablers and signalers that are the target of my calling them out…they don’t have an excuse for it because there isn’t any, and any attempt just proves them to be what they profess to hate.

          • Delilah T.

I think the closest thing I ever saw vaguely resembling blackface was Red Skelton’s Freddy the Clown.

I always like Jack Benny’s smart-assed butler Rochester. He had an answer for everything.

And then there was the team of Amos & Andy. They couldn’t do any of that stuff now, not even a little bit.

        • Peter aka Coeurmaeghan

Don’t forget, please, George Gobel either. Someone a bit ‘newer’ than that, Carol Burnett’s buddy, Tim Conway.

      Governments are being changed worldwide over the “climate change’ issue, and the “climate catastrophists” aren’t winning;

      https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/op-eds/around-the-world-backlash-against-expensive-climate-change-policies

Last August, Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull was forced to resign over his devotion to the Paris agenda. Canada has changed two provincial governorships from “climate change fanatic” to “climate change skeptic”. (Baby Trudeau vows to fight them and proclaim the glory of GNDness forever, etc., of course.)

And “climate change skeptic” parties are making gains in EU parliamentary elections.

I’m expecting Climate Jacobins to go to the bared teeth, the frothing at the mouth, and to unleash The Terror pretty soon. They will probably drop all pretense of being anything but the nihilistic fanatics they are and start the slaughter.

Look up an old Arthur Hailey novel titled Overload. It may be a foretaste of things to come.

They all go to the same schools.

They all believe the same things.

The MSM tells everyone else that they are always right.

They tell everyone else they are creating Utopia. (Nobody mentions that their definition of same looks like the Hunger Games run by the Piranha Brothers.)

Nobody not a member of their club is allowed to play. (“IT’S MY TURN TO BE PRESIDENT!!”)

All of the above is why the 2016 U.S. presidential election, the Gilets Jaune revolt in France, and Brexit have come as such a massive shock to their system. They can’t believe that people are telling them “no”.

Their reaction, as you might expect, is to dream of having a massive Tiananmen Square. With them controlling the tanks.

So, when the fit hits the shan and the main perps (as seen above) are being duck walked up the steps, the lamestream won’t report it. The NYT and WaPo will be out of business and shut down due to their inability to recognize the real truth of current events. Thomas Paine will arise on the third day and motivate the populace with fiery rhetoric to reject the “inquisitors” with extreme prejudice. Once again, there’ll be blue skies and sunshine over the land of the free and the home of the brave. America becomes whole and the prog spawn returns to the depths of perdition from whence they came. Amen………

I get the imagery, but does it strike anyone else as incongrous re: their neckwear?

Bernie Sanders will establish a minimum that must be spent on every student. Watching the local news, they’re showing coverage of Bernie himself saying that Saturday at a rally, and going by the universal examples of bureaucracies being forced to spend money I can foresee rooms of failing students studying on leather recliners.

A quick search shows that line was wisely not reported by the media but they are pushing the $60,000 minimum salary for teachers. That is great money for my area, and will displace the dedicated ones for whom teaching is a calling with those technically more qualified who will rely on union protections rendering them virtually impossible to fire. This dovetails nicely with the all-out siege against charter schools which also pleases the unions.

How do we fix the problems?
    Throw money!
Who do we get the money from?
    Everyone else!

    • kadaka

Update, found the mention on WaPo:

That also includes a minimum on per-pupil spending in all school districts across the country, as well as a universal school meal plan and a goal of closing “the gap in school infrastructure funding to renovate, modernize, and green the nation’s schools.”

$60,ooo minimum starting salaries, except current teachers won’t work for less than new ones so everyone goes up. Free breakfast and lunch, minimum spending per pupil. And money to renovate/rebuild school buildings which pleases the trade unions.

But in the end no one needs worry about their property taxes skyrocketing to pay for it, because no one will pay property taxes once everyone lives in government housing.

      • interventor

The USA already spends more per capita for education then any other nation, without, good results.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it learn.

  • Jim Smith

A rare mistake, Chris: The quote “…almost fanatical devotion”? *Almost* fanatical devotion? “ALMOST”? Shit, these insanely evil, power-mad creatures DEFINE fanaticism. And because of that they are extremely dangerous. They are like vicious wild animals in their power-lust. Be aware. All of us.

    • Well, the Python quote was “an almost fanatical…”,heh.

  • JTC

No room in a ‘toon (even the Sunday megatoon) to list all of the acolytes. They are right to not expect an inquisition, as so many of those acolytes run the board of inquisition.

What they expect -and fear- is the purge that is coming at the hands of those toxic deplorables they have wronged for too long.

    • Kafiroon

Personally I have No desire to go through any inquisition or for any one to experience such a horrible thing.
On the other hand, there are many tools, substances, and other ways to purge those that insist upon it.

  • Christopher Cole

Regarding “climate change”, has any prediction made since 1970 about upcoming catastrophe ever been right? With a track record of utter failure, why does anyone pay attention any more?

    • kadaka

In the days of Reagan, we were saturated with dire warnings of impeding global nuclear doom unless we drastically capitulated, surrendering freedom and treasure. Which lead to a growing attitude among even teenagers of “Then push the f*cking button you damn Reds or get the f*ck out of our way!”

This is about the same. Let it happen, we’ll go from there. Better than waiting scared and not really living.

  • NotYetInACamp

And BOTH the former CIA Director Brennan, and the former FBI Director Comey voted for the Communist Party candidates while living here in the United States of America prior to joining the CIA and the FBI.
I can’t wait for them to receive as much prosecutor attention as our President and many of his supporters and people working for him received.
They are two good targets for a proper prosecution, though an inquisition would fit what they were doing to our President.

    • John

If things were functioning as they ought we would not have wasted two and a half years on a bogus investigation of the POTUS.
At this point we need to cross our fingers and hope that the professionals will see fit to purge the One’s political officers and their ilk, not just at the top but all through the system. They are a shit stain on the honor of all the Federal Agencies and need to be purged with extreme prejudice.
Only then can we hope for a proper airing of dirty laundry and orange uniforms for the denizens of the Swamp.
I’m afraid that this will only come to pass in part however.
There is just too much money to be sucked out of the Federal Hog Trough.

  • AlexJ

The comparison of the Old Roman Catholic hierarchy and the Democrat Party is quite apt.

Especially the selling of Indulgences – “Me Too” only applies to some people (not Clinton, any Kennedy, Comey, Emmanuel, Stephanopoulos). And the decision to cast humiliation for sins is done on a mysterious and cloaked basis.

Some Pigs are, simply put, more equal than others, with the rules apply to the peons & surfs and not the Princes (and Princesses) and consecrated ones.

Finally the rules change by fiat of the clergy and are not subject to criticism. Those who do criticize are deemed Apostates and unclean, fit only for excommunication or crucifiction.

  • Bill

In the shadows they all look like turds.

    • Doggo

In the light they still do

  • Tagg

And lets not forget the paedophilia of the Catholect church hierarchy, and Clinton Lolita Island cronies. Nice parallel.

  • Chris; I wonder if you know just how close you’ve come to the truth with this post.
