The Florida Man has been bidden to enter the fray.

Let’s see…… “RELEASE THE FLORIDA MAN!”
No…….not the same ring to it.
      “LET LOOSE THE FLORIDA MAN!”
      Still doesn’t work……..
Any good ideas for a snappy slogan based on established material?

      • NotYetInACamp

Beware when the Florida Man and the Florida Woman en-mass enter the fray and begin the beat down of those who call them enemy. (For the pschopath and sociopath Stalinist and Red Guard and Marcuse Franklin School types, Progressives, Taverstockers, Globalists, Davos Man, and all such engaged in their glorious struggle to destroy such as the Florida Man, this is meant in a peaceful way, only scalable to the appropriate response to their attacks in order for us to preserve our US Constitutional rights that recognize our God given rights.
        Don’t step on snake.

        Behold! The Florida Man cometh!

Ah damnit. Gotta hose every thing down again.
Just wish it wasn’t so sticky. Reminds me of a 1970’s porn set.

Loose the Florida Man and CRY HAVOC!

      • JTC

        @Woodman,

Not that the meme Florida Man doesn’t stand well enough on its own two feet (we went upright a decade or so ago), but if we need a foreboding introduction, pretty hard to beat NotYet’s off the cuff quip that “The Florida Man has been bidden to enter the fray.”

One is tempted to add a “bidden by biden“ pun in there but why mess with simple magnificence, plus JoHo is an almost insignificant part of the call to arms of TFM.

“The Florida Man has been bidden to enter the fray”.
Sounds like a circle of gamers playing D&D.
That could work to our advantage. Mild introduction, wild entrance.

He might look like Walter, but he ain’t no Walter, because Walter tells the damn truth!

Thing about DeSantis is that he’s the Florida Man they all fear the most right now…and guess who else that includes?

And Psaki? Let me circle back to this: just like your boss up there compares unfavorably to a damn puppet, you can’t hold a candle to a scripted, fictional CJ.

Governor Desantis is my governor and seems to be a real stand up guy. I like him. But then again I voted for him. Might be a real good candidate for president. Maybe President Trump would help if he doesn’t run in 2024.

    • Wood

So long as Scott doesn’t run/get elected. He’s spineless where it counts. Rubio has a yella streak too, pushing “gun safety”. Using the Parkland shooting to push for infringements again the “good guys” when every government apparatus that could have intervened failed is the height of absurdity and supports the conclusion that banning/confiscation is the real goal. Not a few Florida RINOS including Rick Scott showed their true colors in the form of unconstitutional “red flag” laws. He needs to be primaried and kept out of the White House.

      • steveb919

        I’ll go with that.

    • JSStryker

      Same here!

If you want to know Florida Man, read Tim Dorsey’s novels. Serge Storms was THE Florida man before Florida Man was a thing.

    • Wood

Randy Wayne White’s novels are good stuff too.

I hear “Florida Man”, I think of John D MacDonald’s “Travis McGee” series, Miss Agnes RR, The Busted Flush houseboat. My dad had every one of the color titles. I even found an early (first?) edition of one of the books.

  • They need to remember the tech support for the animatron is coming from Disney and the closest office is in Florida as well, if he slips a cog or needs a hard reboot ” Who you gonna call”?

  • DogByte6RER

The “Florida Man” phenomena is really a 50 state, in fact even a global phenomena.

The reason so many of these news stories come out and are tagged as “Florida Man” is due to the state’s open sunshine laws that compel government agencies to make their operations as open and transparent to the public as possible.

Hence … all of the weird arrests of “Florida Man,” but to be sure, there are lots of similar stories everywhere else. These other states and nations don’t have the same transparency laws as Florida so the public doesn’t know as much about them.

    • JSStryker

Not to mention that most Florida Man and Woman are transplants from other states…

  • Kafiroon

The way their New Green Steal is shaping up, they will all be frozen solid or starved while Florida Man is saying hold my beer and watch whatever deviltry I can do to them. (And Don’t Drink It! – Wisconsin statement)

So, is Florida Man a native-born no-bullshit straight-up politician putting Florida First and keeping up the good in spite of -maybe because of- the leftist onslaught?

Interesting. Many in Europe are going all Florida Man right now.
So are many places across the world.
Maybe Florida Man is a good globalist, not a Davos Man.
We all have God given freedoms. We all yearn for them when squelched. We all struggle to assert them. We all want to be beautiful in spirit and responsible and productive and caring and good.
It could be a beautiful Florida world, each nation and culture in their own way. This the beautiful way. One has to have morals one sticks to.

I hope more of the bar flies comment. I enjoyed their wisdom.
Of course, I am completely influenced by Russia. I read the book Soviet Science Fiction. Many great stories there. Then I read More Soviet Science Fiction. I must be Russian influenced. And my mother and grandfather and grandmother spoke Russian among many languages. (Solemente Ingles por este idiota)
Then my family was involved in an insurrection against the Soviet Union and a communist Government. Historically they also rose in insurrection against the English. There. Russian influence. A history of insurrection in my family. K Ho will be leading the Fed SWAT Team tomorrow. Dang that First Amendment. Have they torn that one up, yet? Or just burned it?

Many say so, including Oregon officials, or something.

Don’t worry. Be happy is good advice.
Have fewer intelligent children in order to save the planet is a genocidal racist myth.Don’t blame me. Others planned that and say that.
