Someone like Skye would absolutely terrify milquetoast Milley. I may never agree with Skye’s politics, but she is totally authentic, something with which Milley is completely unfamiliar.

    • Kafiroon

The interview with Skye will be/is the hardest fight he has Ever been in. Make that Only fight.

  • Mike-SMO

Bet he gets another medal for that interview.

    • Randy

Current Squatter-in-Chief would probably give him a Purple Heart and a “safe-space” where he could have a good cry and pat his support animal…UGH

  • Pete231

I want to see his “Discretionary Valor ” medal for doing this interview….

  • Steveb919

The screaming eagles are great but in his case screaming chicken is right.

    • cb

Oh yeah, that screaming chicken, worn proudly the the chairborne rangers.

      • NotYetInACamp

Which rows of medal are for chair jockeying?

        • Neanderthal JSStryker

          Probably most of them.

      • John D. Egbert

In his case, that would be a puking chicken. The 101st lives aboard Fort Campbell, KY, just up the road a few miles from my humble abode here in wonderful Clarksville, TN. We are all-too-regular customers of their pharmacy . . .

    • DogByte6RER

Milley Vanilley deserves the Big Chicken Dinner.

    • John

In my day the Screaming Eagle was sometimes referred to as the Puken’ Chicken.
But in those days the kids were braver and recreational pharmacology was a “thing”.

Milley is a real-life version of Col. Freeman Olds in A Deeper Blue by John Ringo.

I’m now wondering if Ringo, ex-Ranger, knew Milley back in the day and based Olds on him.

Looking at Milley and the other JCs, I see ribbon arrays looking like Idi Amin’s. And probably about as unrelated to actual achievements as his were.

I still maintain that the next rational POTUS should start by retiring every officer O-6 and above, and the equivalent in the government bureaucracy (GS-15 and up).

With an Executive Order (because that seems to be how things are run these days) prohibiting them from being employed even as a “consultant” by any Federal contractor or foreign government for a minimum of ten years.

And pass a constitutional amendment similar to Virginia’s law governing Gubernatorial succession for _all_ elective offices.
Staggering terms will let new blood climb through the ranks and let the public see what the bastards have been hiding behind their desks every turn. We’ve got to find some way to eliminate or even just expose the parasites.
The reason I brought this up is that the high-ranking military is dependent on Congressional Patronage. Not a crime in itself, but at some point the Milleys of the system must be forced to swim on their own.

      • Steveb919

CB. Just wondering how many Federal jobs are redundant or just plane useless?

        • cb

Steve, put it this way, give them all 12 months paid vacation a year and the budget would balance itself in no time.

        • Roland Deshain

          At least 50%!

    • John D. Egbert

      I’d make that prohibition permanent.

  • brodder

Eon , you’d have to get John a good drink for that story. And it’d cover the Posleen story too. Maybe a cigarillo too. Poolside Chattanooga most likely.
Has stolen Valor vetted Miley’s award stack?

    • Unca Walt

The “award stack” <- love that term, is simply a visual record — for the most part — of where he has BEEN.

You were in the area during Tet Offensive (as a laundry officer in Saigon), you get a firehouse medal. You were in the Social Services Planning Group at Desert Storm, you get a medal.

You spent thirty consecutive days where on any day you may have heard a gunshot? Blue Musket for you.

It ain't that impressive to us ole sojers…

  • Henry

Pentagon hallways are actually very accessible, but they sink of old farts. It took me quite a while to discover that it was the long-lingering exhaust from all the methane-powered go-karts the couriers used.

  • Old Man

This strip is linked to Instapundit. I predict an Instalanche!

BRAVO! Well done, CM, well done! Double punches to Milley Vanilly.
The yellow/”safety” stripe (every soldier is supposed to wear a yellow reflective safety belt somewhere for “reason”. I thank God that I was retired before that became widespread).
And then the “intel” joke. ROFLOL!!

There’s a site that I read, Big Country Expat, that analyzed all Milley Vanilly’s major medals and awards, and as Unca Walt said, they’re all ” participation trophy” awards. I’ll have to look for that particular one and like it here. Very enlightening.

    • President Elect Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH Neanderthal B Woodman Domestic Violent Extremist SuperStraight

Here it is: Milley Vanilli dissected in all his (koff!) “glory” (koff!).
The Good “General” has been riding a desk most of his career, going to the right schools, getting all the right assignments, wearing all the right awards, medals and tabs, checking all the right boxes. But he’s never been “out front” to actually DO anything.

      https://www.bigcountryexpat.com/another-full-day-and-general-milley/

Many (most?) of you might like reading Big Country Expat. Military, contractor (soldier of fortune?), intel, gun smith, profane (to say the least). A mix of everyday household problems (daughter Dumb Bunny DB and two grand children, etc), employment/UNemployment, dealing with Gubberment bureaucracies. Oh, and money.

  • Paladin

During the Alabama v Auburn game, Mike Durant is running for Sen. Shelby’s seat. Yes, That Michael Durant!
    I wish him well.

  • DogByte6RER

Milley Vanilley … he’s even MORE fake than Milli Vanilli.

    • Steveb919

      Oh how I wish.

  • John M.

Isn’t Milley one of “Obama’s Own?” …that special group of sycophants Ohbummer promoted over more senior and more qualified officers…
