When you have been through a near death experience with one of your loved ones at far too early an age, nothing fazes you.

I keep wondering when people will realize that they are dealing with a violent subculture that all want to be Darius the Great of Persia.
I.e., self-anointed “philosopher-kings” who want to rule without let or hindrance purely on the basis of their ‘feelings”.
And who want to exterminate everybody who isn’t exactly like them.
There will only be room for so many Perfect People in Utopia. Your problem is that you’re not perfect, and you’re one too many.
