They still own slaves. They keep the inner city Blacks enslaved with welfare payments for layering around and having children out of wedlock. These children grow up in a single parent household and overwhelmingly populate the prisons. Criminal behavior is excused as long as they do not commit crime against their White Democrat masters.

It was intentional warfare by Democrats to change the Black population culture in the USA from the most family centric and strong and most children born into and growing up in homes with bothe the mother and father in it, to what the culture is now. Chicago black on black deaths, and around the nation, are the proud results and symbols of success of the Democrats succeeding n their goals. LBJ got his black population voting Democrat for at least 60 years. Racist boss man LBJ did good by Democrat standards. It still is not his desired 200 years voting Democrat. (Demented Crat/p comes to mind. Biden aint no LBJ. Both got rich off of politics).
The 45 goals of the Communist Party for the USA published in the 1950’s qne 1960’s and published in the US Congressional Record have been accomplished.
That moral black population did not rise in revolution as the communists tried earlied. Today all of the intersectionalities making all enemies of the USA, and the massive illegal influx of people not subject to the allegiance of the USA and not loyal to the USA make for the cannon fodder of the revolution when added to the results of the Franklin School, Marcuse, and Marxists teachings of the leftists of the 60’s in the schools and universities.
Ignoring all of that, the insanity and hate of President Trump and all that is not revolutionary at war against the USA that we have seen for 4 years leads to believe that even if the Democrat candidate was a good human being (like JFK or Reagan – aw c’mon, Reagan was a Democrat like I once was. and almost everyone in NYC is a labeled Democrat to function. ), I would not vote for anybody but our President. He deserves his first term without embedded revolutionaries controlling most of the Federal Government apparatus, like the Apparatchiks the Democrats have become.)
Hate makes us stronger after surviving its attacks. Europe went on to conquer most of the world after surviving the hate of Islam. (I have never seen that theory espoused elsewhere, but I don’t search much these days) And those that hate you often say they are doing what they are doing for your good and because they love you. Islam wants you dead so that you can experience the joy of meeting Allah, even if destruction comes with that. Democrats want their bullying to get you to do the right thing and to be on the right side of what they say history is. Democide is often the result. Remember the Weather Underground’s desire to execute the 25,000,000 unrepentant capitalists of all sent to the 1970’s versions of Hillary’s FUN FEMA Camps.
We can stay in the game by voting. It is still an easier path than the cartridge box.

In addition to recognizing slavery for it’s dehumanization, Abraham Lincoln opposed slavery because he recognized it as theft … the theft of a man’s work, and the fruits of that work.

Lincoln harshly criticized “the same old serpent that says you work and I eat, you toil and I will enjoy the fruits of it” while he followed up by also stating “I always thought that the man who made the corn should eat the corn.”

The Democrats rage and hatred has festered and grown exponentially ever since Lincoln took away their slaves by liberating them.

In the 150+ years that have followed, the Democrats’ rage, hate and resentment have continued as they re-invented new forms of slavery such as Jim Crow laws and the sharecropper system, and the now high confiscatory taxes and administrative state which burdens the middle class workers and businesses with onerous taxes and regulations. These contemporary Democrats see themselves as the new plantation masters and overseers through their government roles as administrative commissars.

Democrats’ fetish for illegal alien laborers exists in order to raise their entitled children, to wash their dirty laundry and to maintain their landscaping. This further illustrates just how lazy and immoral this political class is.

Democrats haven’t changed their core values since the 13th Amendment and the emancipation of the slaves. They just re-configured their deceptive system of coercion, political spoils and social engineering to keep themselves in the plantation master’s seat while doing as little work as possible and paying as little as possible for others to do their dirty work.

At their core, Democrats are immoral, self-absorbed, lazy cheapskates …

Slavery is also economically inefficient. A slave works just enough to avoid punishment, no more. There’s no incentive to do more as the worker gets nothing more in return.

Every Communist state has run into this reef, and most of them foundered on it. There was an old saying in the USSR, “We pretend to work and they pretend to pay us”.

Most such states either die, depend on other states (mostly capitalist) to prop them up with aid, or go the Napoleonic route of conquest and looting under the guise of “empire building”.

The USSR tried it, and found that its empire wasn’t big or rich enough to support the bloated bureaucracy of the “masters”.

Red China is getting ready to try the more direct military route (as Japan tried eight decades ago) because their “non-threatening” attempt at a “Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere” blew up in their faces.

(Also, thanks to their “One Child” policy, their army of unmarried men is reaching the age tipping point; there probably won’t be a big enough army to get the job done in the next generation, due to their demographic crash, so they’re in a “use it before you lose it” situation.)

Here in the U.S. the blue states now seek to terrorize everyone else into playing Warsaw Pact to their USSR. “We rule, you obey- Or Else”.

One problem with believing that history begins with you is that you never learn from what came before.

Since you brought up Mr. Lincoln, he also told Fredrick Douglas, in a letter, that he did not think the two races could live at peace in the same country. My reading of history is that he was much more concerned about holding the Union together than freeing the slaves.
If the US had taken the same track on abolishing slavery as Great Britain, we would not have the mess we have today. Attrition, and the advent of machines like the cotton gin, would have allowed slavery to die a peaceful death.

I can’t find the reference, but I’m sure I once read where Lincoln once told a group of black leaders that he had no love for their kind. I do know Lincoln believed that blacks and whites could not live together. I also know he wanted to found a separate nation for blacks somewhere in Central America. He wanted them to be in a place on existing ocean trade routes with sufficient natural resources to provide for a healthy economy. My understanding is that Lincoln even secured initial funding from Congress to explore founding such a nation. I also know that Lincoln believed – perhaps engaging in wishful thinking – that if Blacks were removed from the equation then the war would die down of its own accord.

The country you reference was Liberia, but Lincoln didn’t found it. It came into existence in the 1840s, a settlement of the American Colonization Society, who believed black people would face better chances for freedom and prosperity in Africa than in the United States.

The country declared its independence on July 26, 1847. The U.S. did not recognize Liberia’s independence until February 5, 1862, and that’s where Lincoln came in.

While Lincoln did support voluntary colonization before the Emancipation Proclamation, it was not directed specifically at Liberia. In 1862, Congress authorized $600,000 to fund and create the Bureau of Emigration in the Department of the Interior. There were several failed colonization attempts in Central America and Haiti, but things did not go well and Congress repealed the remaining funds in July 1864.

Actually the cotton gin was what extended the slave trade in the US because it made slavery profitable, or so the owners thought. The share cropping scheme that followed emancipation was actually much more lucrative. Further field mechanization then forced the black exodus to the industrial North.
Lincoln’s belief that the races could not mix was based on the extremely common prejudice of the time that the races could not mix and that was reinforced in the miscegenation laws. The Woke want us to return to racial segregation in spite of the fact that intermarriage has become quite common and we now know it is class, rather than race that determine economic outcomes for the most part. Not to mention that all these differences are merely averages and not solid stereotypes. After all, we do have outstanding black intellectuals in our midst, some of whom are old enough to have lived under Jim Crow.

The cotton gin made slavery worse, not better. From
        https://www.archives.gov/education/lessons/cotton-gin-patent

However, like many inventors, Whitney (who died in 1825) could not have foreseen the ways in which his invention would change society for the worse. The most significant of these was the growth of slavery. While it was true that the cotton gin reduced the labor of removing seeds, it did not reduce the need for slaves to grow and pick the cotton. In fact, the opposite occurred. Cotton growing became so profitable for the planters that it greatly increased their demand for both land and slave labor. In 1790 there were six slave states; in 1860 there were 15. From 1790 until Congress banned the importation of slaves from Africa in 1808, Southerners imported 80,000 Africans. By 1860 approximately one in three Southerners was a slave.

I have read this in many sources that slavery was on the decline and the Cotton Gin revived it.

Always grinds me to see the First Rino exalted as a savior of blacks from forced labor when in fact his only self-admitted agenda was to kill and destroy enough of the sovereign CSA nation to force rejoining the union and stealing its treasure, its self-governance, and its independence.

His “emancipation proclamation” was only for slaves of the Confederacy not the slave-holding yankee states, as he had promised his political and financial supporters. The moral issues and other problems of slavery were well-recognized in the South and mechanization was well under way to replace it…left to its own device the CSA would have implemented it broadly and slaves would have become sharecroppers (what we call contractors today, not a damn thing wrong with that) and worked for and built their own American dream instead of being sold into a whole new kind of *permanent* bondage, setting them on the path that has virtually destroyed blacks as a race. Well, Lincoln couldn’t allow that, and neither can his socialist contemporaries.

Lincoln was the Obama of that era, a raging liberal hiding behind an “R”, coldly and crassly using the lives of those who trusted him to gain personal wealth, standing, and legacy, regardless of the thousands of lives -his own claimed citizens- sacrificed. And ultimately of course creating the perpetual dependent underclass that is an albatross socially and economically to the productive citizenry that we are seeing in the streets today. And that underclass is the new indentured army, the left’s electorate; the same left that was served so murderously, faithfully, and deceptively by Lincoln…and for all of the very same reasons.

It is said that those those who ignore history are bound to repeat it. And we are repeating it…we are on the cusp of a new civil war for similar to the first one in so many ways, which was declared by one side and fought to the death by the other. God help us to defeat the enslavement that is planned for us now, not just for blacks and their slave replacement hispanics, but for all of us, except of course their sainted elite.

JTC … I do not discount your reply.

I think Lincoln was correct in identifying the problems with slavery … but his remedy was most likely worse than the disease. Yet I also still agree with and stand by the premise that slavery is the theft of the fruits of a man’s labor. Whether it was Pharaoh stealing the work of the Jews in his bondage, the theft of work by antebellum Southern plantation owners, or the theft of work by totalitarian collectivist states, the practice still remains immoral.

America’s political elites, the Democrats, RINOs, Chambers of Commerce, MSM, BigTech, etc., see themselves as the 21st century masters of a globalist plantation in which they are positioned at the top of the pyramid so that they can orchestrate and reap from the labor, innovation and creativity of the populations below them. All the while, they pit these populations against each other creating resentment, tension, riots, looting so that people cannot see the true masters manipulating everything for their own selfish interests. It’s a divide and conquer political strategy. The elite are the puppeteers casting the shadows in Plato’s Cave.

Again, I’m not placing Lincoln on a pedestal, but I do 100% agree with his premises about slavery. The US Civil War was a disaster that destroyed a big part of Federalism and which then began America’s march towards a modern day leviathan Administrative State.

The writings of WW helped shape and reinforce my disgust at not only the two-headed dragon that Lincoln was, but more so the enduring belief by so many in his purity…thanks for the links for me to re-read that.

The money quote as it were is in his last paragraph, one that I repeat often…always follow the money. As true then with Lincoln’s evil deceptions as it is now with Biden’s.

Curious of your reasons for including the Chamber of Commerce among the tentacles of the leftist machine?

      • September 4, 2020 at 12:48 am
        DogByteRER

The Chamber of Commerce is one of the biggest proponents of open borders, H1B visas, and the invasion of illegal aliens into our country to further depress the wages of the middle class. These illegal alien workers are typically paid under the table, they pay little or no income taxes, they utilize social services, etc. There are documented cases where US corporations directed their US citizen workers to train foreign H1B visa workers so that they could be replaced by these cheaper foreign workers.

The Chamber of Commerce is a prime driver of America’s race to the bottom by downgrading more and more middle class citizens closer and closer to a modern serfdom.

Our march into the future has always been one of two steps forward and one back. The vision outlined in the Declaration of Independence is, like any shared vision, subject to myopia, prejudiced interpretation, and misinterpretation.
        But we soldier on.
The Founders believed there was something called Truth, but also that it was our duty that we as mere humans had to discover, and then rediscover what that Truth is, and that called for relentless Reason.
We have failed too often to live up to that requirement and continue to pay the price in the form of avoidable miseries.
It has been my observation that those who disregard, and even denigrate, Reason don’t even know what it is.
I’m afraid that is _our_ failure.

Sorry about the tangent here Chris, but the subject is critical to all of this…

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/in-act-of-heresy-nras-former-no-2-calls-for-gun-control/ar-BB18FoXo?li=BBnbfcL

Beyond just looking for a payday like any other whore, this dude is a total maroon…NRA is an organization of “NO!” when it comes to gun control? Uh, yeah it’s a lobbying organization to oppose exactly that. NRA’s budget goes largely to legal fees? Yeah again Einsten, a lobby organization is run by esq’s and they don’t work for free.

What NRA has done is create a powerful and loud advocate for the protection of the Second Amendment and the rights of legal gun owners…and they have the ear of the President to not only keep him mindful that those interests are widely embraced by his electorate/bosses, but also to educate the man who is already very leery of gov involvement/regulation in anything, to the true agenda behind what is presented by the sneaky leftists and antis as “common sense measures”. And he was educated, and he does understand, and the NRA did exactly what it is paid to do.

You know of the potential for abuse of so called red-flag laws that overshadows any good that could be done in the rare instance it would be implemented correctly. More surreptitious and sounding so innocent is the repeated attempts for “universal background checks”. You know, to shut down those illegal gun shows and internet sales…which are non-existent. What it is is a grab to take away an historical and codified exemption of private transactions of private individuals from the control of regulators. By requiring you to meet at and pay an FFL to run a NICS (along with waiting periods etc and the immediate seizure of the firearm if the buyer flunks it) on the buyer of your gun, you are creating a paper trail to not only who it went to but where it came from, one that can and will be used not to trace guns into criminal hands, but to enforce the aforementioned red flag seizures and also where to find you, that guy, and that gun when/if door to door confiscation is ever enforced. Don’t be fooled by the gentle language…it is a version of the Trojan Horse that Trump has called out Biden as being; don’t ever let them have that law as a trade-off for something else; it is critical. If it is true as the book says that a majority of gun owners support such? That’s either a lie or a monumental failure on the part NRA to educate its members of the agenda, but as stated earlier they strongly oppose it and strongly advise DT against it; props to them for that, as I said in spite of their Keystone Kop foibles, they have been and are a *very* effective lobby for our rights.

Not to say I’m all in for the NRA as an organization. Like all advocacy groups, it devolved into what is basically a union, from high goals of protecting their members from unfair treatment into a bickering political and corrupt mass of individuals advocating for their own power/money. Same old story; always follow the money. So I quit paying them a while back. But I might re-activate depending on them getting their shit together by dumping dead wood like this doofus, holding fast to their policy of being the organization of “NO!”, and also the general direction of our politics as to attacks on 2A rights.

As for the book writer? Eh, just a cheap whore whose greed has overwhelmed his convictions and loyalties…lot of that going on these days.

Yes it was absolutely FDR New Deal socialism designed to get people to work to help solve not only financial woes but social ones during the depression but of course the Japs took care of that in late 1941 when everybody was suddenly employed. …much like the social problems we’re seeing now.
How many protestors will trade their signs and hoodies for some tools of a productive trade?
