WayneM Nov 06 2018 at 1:04 am I was hoping for Damien acting in the role of Morpheus… cmblake6 Nov 06 2018 at 1:12 am Red-Pilled long ago. And I do like Wayne’s comment. John M. Nov 06 2018 at 1:47 am Excellent – been a Red Pill since I was old enough to vote… In those days, we were the Blues. When did it change? TomZ Nov 06 2018 at 2:17 am Go back a couple of days. Paladsin Nov 06 2018 at 7:41 am Has I recall they use to switch every 4 years. Then in the era of Clinton the networks decided to tag the commie party as “True Blue”. nonncom Nov 06 2018 at 9:14 am When the democrats figured out that red was the perfect color for them…. Nancy Nov 06 2018 at 2:12 am Already did. Two weeks ago. Pete231 Nov 06 2018 at 2:23 am One pill makes you larger and one pill makes you small………. Go ask Alice when she’s ten feet tall ! Bill G Nov 06 2018 at 5:55 am The men on the chessboard want to tell us where to go. Too Tall Nov 06 2018 at 2:32 am Masterful political cartoon and campaign ad in a single panel. Somewhere Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Nast are smiling. Well played, Chris. Well played, indeed. Pamela Nov 06 2018 at 4:10 am Red Pill equals Freedom and Justice. Blue Pill equals Slavery and Injustice. Bill G Nov 06 2018 at 5:58 am Excellent. Let’s continue deleting the already-in-place controls. Otherwise we’ve enabled the left’s push toward their desired end of everything not mandatory is illegal and everything not illegal is mandatory. John Nov 06 2018 at 3:40 pm We’ve got a long way to go to dismantle “The Machine” There is a lot of fake law and power hungry bastards to plow through first. Tom Stockton Nov 06 2018 at 6:10 am Let me start by saying I love the cartoon, Chris! I’m assuming you used a circle with a small “D” in it because the Democrats have copyrighted their logo; am I right? A little confused about the “Control – R – delete” verbage, though… would “Control – D – delete” be more appropriate for this cartoon? As a wee, wee bit of a “computer nerd”, (as I recall) neither command does anything in a Windows-based computer. Control – D is mainly the “fill down” command in a spreadsheet-type program, such as Excel. Control – R is “run”… and the “delete” command linked to either of the Control – statements won’t do anything. HOWEVER… if you were taking liberties with the good ol’ MS-DOS operating system — if you’d chosen “Control – D (select the blue pill”, the “delete the selected item (blue pill) would have made more sense to me. It’s also 5:05 am, and I’ve just started getting my daily caffeine fix, sitting on the couch using my laptop, with two dogs curled up beside me… aaaaaaaaaah! It’s so peaceful and quiet this time of morning! Anyway… love the cartoon, just a wee bit confused… Thanks in advance for a reply. Regards, Tom Stockton Wood Nov 06 2018 at 7:27 am Tom, I’d prefer Control-A, Delete. Then give me a Staples red button “That was Easy” PaulS Nov 06 2018 at 8:53 am Alt-Control-Delete Especially if the application of Shittofix ™ doesn’t last. JTC Nov 06 2018 at 4:02 pm Alt-Right-Enter. Not really, some nutballs over there too. Better than the alternative though. And funny! Delilah T Nov 06 2018 at 7:28 am ‘Twas brillig and the slithy votes Did gyre and gimble in the wabe All mimsy were the bluepill goats And the mome red Reps outgrabe. Callooo! Callay!! I will chortle in my joy. Nicely done. Tagg Nov 06 2018 at 7:31 am We seem to be at a crossroads of confusion in this country. We have the socialist which are dems. We have free enterprisers which are repubs and we have nationalist which are repubs. Then, we have the globalist who exist within the dems and repubs. You would think that repubs would all be nationalists free enterprizers but sadly many of them are rino globalists. However all dems seem to be globalist socialists. If they have their way there will be a one world socialist government resulting in worldwide tyranny and devistation. We must root out the globalist rinos and replace them with nationalist free enterprizers while destroying the socialist globalists deep state. We have a hard fight ahead. MAGA! Wood Nov 06 2018 at 7:39 am What boggles my mind is these globalists think they will maintain their lifestyles and fortunes when the world falls. Do they really think they will control the mobs they’re bringing in! Can they be that arrogant? If you undermine the foundation, the pyramid falls. These illegal aliens and “refugees” will never assimilate, they’ll just create what they fled. Peregrine John Nov 06 2018 at 11:39 am It’s the location. The local dirt’s magic, dontcha know. Makes anyone here value freedom, decency, and personal responsibility. Delilah T Nov 06 2018 at 4:16 pm “Can they be that arrogant? ” Uh, yes. They are also that abundantly stupid. John Nov 06 2018 at 4:30 pm And sadly the two are not unrelated when it comes to hubris. Jim Smith Nov 06 2018 at 7:39 am Excellent, Chris. Spot on. William Ewing (Bill) Nov 06 2018 at 8:01 am Thanks for this Chris. I’ve posted it on my FB page for all my, mostly, Republican ‘Friends.’ Hope you don’t mind. Outstanding post, BTW Fronk! Nov 06 2018 at 8:14 am So simple… Yet so complex! Kafiroon Nov 06 2018 at 10:18 am Good one Chris! It seems that the Blue pill takers have been hollering about being “woke” yet they are the dreamers that NPC so nicely defines. Go Red Pill and go with Freedom! ExNuke Nov 06 2018 at 11:48 am It seems that the Blue pill takers that have been pretending to be “woke” ARE the NPCs. Webrider Nov 06 2018 at 10:46 am Blue pill = Mobs. Red pill = Jobs JTC Nov 06 2018 at 11:18 am Talk about control: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/msnbc-airs-results-of-florida-governor-election-in-test-misfire/ar-BBPp2Ny?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=mailsignout “misfire” they say…right. Wonder how many more stories are prewritten and giddy to go? When “they” control the message the deck is stacked against us, but God is on our side. interventor Nov 06 2018 at 1:11 pm Voted straight Republican today. Took the red pill years ago. BTW, progs attempting to make the term “nationalist” equivalent to white racist. Remind them of Teddy Roosevelt, the first progressive Republican president. He used the term “new nationalism” to advocate for a leftist turn from private property to health and welfare. I’ve a like/dislike with Teddy. Had some good qualities. kadaka Nov 06 2018 at 2:06 pm Election day poll I’d like to see: “Did you or will you support Bernie Sanders by voting National Socialist?” James Gemind Nov 06 2018 at 2:49 pm Posted it to the Politics Table of the Bar(Baen’s Bar, that is. Smart folk, Paying attention). JTC Nov 06 2018 at 3:06 pm Wifey and I just did our duty at our local precinct. Yes we could have voted early but we kind of enjoy the process and it should be a process and take a little effort to perform such a serious responsibility in my view. But in the fake effort to make voting “accessible for all” aka easy to abuse and defraud, they don’t want proof of registration or even identification to be required and ultimately want to follow Oregon and other places where everyone is mailed a ballot to fill out and mail or drop in public boxes. Make corruption easy? Of course that is the plan but they say they check every signature (right) and that any fake voter commits a crime (like criminals give a shit about that and they know none will be found or prosecuted if they do). Of course when that system is complete and personal responsibility has been fully abdicated the process of elections by citizens will be fully irrelevant, they will make the choices internally, and the takeover will be complete. Then the pre-prepared result stories like MSNBC’s “misfire” I referenced above can be openly published. And our Republic will be no more. Delilah T Nov 06 2018 at 4:19 pm I voted. Then I went home. All tyrannies fail. armedandsafe Nov 06 2018 at 4:43 pm I turned Republican for Eisenhower. Entire family was strongly Democrat, so I got a little “feedback.” Washington State is fully mail ballots, and that irks me no end. No ID check, no residency check, no guarded mail drops. Ballot drop boxes are pretty impressive looking for strength, until you examine them closely and realize just how easy it would be to tamper with them. PaulS Nov 06 2018 at 5:35 pm Well you get to use the mailbox now, because you got to pay the postage for everybody. 😉 That makes it a serious federal crime for them to be tampered with. Bill Nov 06 2018 at 6:43 pm I took my red pill with a bourbon chaser. It went down REAEEEEEEAL smooth. Here’s hoping for an exciting evening and a good outcome! Swansonic Nov 06 2018 at 8:35 pm Caught a little of CNN a couple of hours before the polls started closing just to see what they were broadcasting. What a load of crap – everything will go the way the ‘polls’ indicate. Hopefully, just like two years ago. Must be interesting seeing everything through manure-colored glasses where all shit just shines…… Wood Nov 06 2018 at 11:49 pm Well, nice knowing ya Floriduh 🙁 JTC Nov 07 2018 at 12:12 am Wood, I was about to say that Texas did not let its pockets of insanity and its prejudiced southern border take over from the adults there and hope my Fla can do the same…so what other than the current (as of 11:00 EST) less than 1% margin of Desantis and Scott do you know that I don’t? Sure hope your information wrong, hate to have to pack up and leave this sand spit after 60 years…but I won’t be governed by a commie. Wood Nov 07 2018 at 7:38 am Hey I’m delighted to be wrong!! I thought it was going the other way, also considering Florida’s propensity for imitating a pundulum. Grunt GI Nov 07 2018 at 12:01 am SOOOOO, an interesting mixed night as I head off to bed. Senate stays in Republican hands, House to Nancy and her minions. Florida GOV race looks to be R and ol’ Beto can now go on MSNBC and start his Presidential campaign. SO, here’s my outlook, which is bad but not disastrous. * The nitwits like Adam Shit-for-brains and Maxine Crazy Aunt and whatever that little socialist twit’s name is will begin LOTS and LOTS of investigations into the Donald. They want to impeach him so bad it hurts….and there’s a good chance they will invent some bullshit to do so, if ONLY to run ALL of their 2020 campaign ads with the phrase IMPEACHED PRESIDENT, because there is no chance in hell of the Senate convicting him. * They will hold lots of hearings on ALL kinds of crap–immigration, health care, blah blah blah, but they will NOT introduce any meaningful legislation…all of it would be socialist clap trap anyway with no chance of passing. They just want to fund raise and get set for 2020. They will be THE MOST DO NOTHING Congress in history. Trump’s campaign ads will write themselves. * In the meantime, let’s hope ol’ Mitch keeps ramming through judges with the hope that another opening will come up on the Supreme Court. Then the liberal meltdown will be complete as Trump nominates a REALLY REALLY conservative judge just to shove it up their ass. Can you say, Amy Coney Barrett…who is not only gonna be more conservative than Kavanaugh, but she is amazingly HOT!!! So, all in all, this could turn out to bite these idiots in the ass if they go full socialist lunatic, which is very likely. We shall see. In the meantime…back to DBD goodness. Morgul Lord Nov 07 2018 at 12:13 am Can’t understand it.The country’s in the best shape it’s been in a decade. YET they give the House to the Dims.If you thought the last two years was a nightmare, wait for the next two. as noted above, endless investigations. subpoenas for Trump’s tax returns. all so the nimrods can satisfy their idiot base. Impeachment? You betcha. ‘Cause they don’t care it will go down. They’ll be able to gridlock Trump for the rest of his term with sideshows. force him to rule by executive order, just like the boy King – and just as easily overturned. Time to divide the country. give them the west coast, the Northeast, Detroit and Chicago, Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin. We’ll take the rest. move everybody where they belong. and then – the hell with them.
