Clowns like Creepy Joe and ThoroughlyModern Milley buy overpriced, underperforming, sports cars as a means of dealing with their own lack of physical performance.

But when the problem, as in their cases, is lack of a soul, that is when you get the full spectrum of social pathologies.

Nothing on this earth can fill that void.

Laughter and ridicule are usually sufficient to deal with d*ckless wonders.

Soulless wonders generally require far more extreme treatment.

    C,

You are missding the opportyunities with Traitor Milley; the Norks had special uniforms to hold all the glitter and even the Boy Scouts had sashes for all the patches. Just keep the neck line clear for future developements.

Laughter and ridicule are potent weapons when backed by kinetics. The Russians laughed at the Bolshies for ~70 years before there was any effect. I’m too old for that schedule.

The mRNA “vaccine” was an “Oh Shit” project in the face of China & Fauci exporting the Kung Flu. Not bad for a slap together. Kind of like the DD tanks (Duplex Drive, or Donald Ducks) of WWII. Forcing a high risk therapy for a low risk affliction on the young is what is known as “Murder”. But the Corruptocrapts are used to that. [Get used to it,too, or do something.] Team Ghetto got used to it. Funerals are a good excuse to party and get drunk. After all, making more chilluns, as I recall, was kinda fun.

Think! Remember that the National Guard supported the coup, and they still are under the command of Milley and demented Diaper-Boy.

Well, the sashes were a great idea. They allowed poor families to put several kids through Scouting in hand-me-down uniforms, only requiring a new sash for each one.

As Too Tall mentioned above, the more expensive the sports car or the larger the pickup truck is directly proportional to the lack of size in male genitalia and performance in the boudoir.

Also, medal hungry officers fall in to that category the further they are from combat troops.

      Hardthought,

My experience from twenty-four years in the military is that those individuals who had received an award for bravery in combat such as the Medal of Honor, a Service Cross, Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star with a Combat “V,” or Air Medal with a Combat “V:”

      1. Downplayed and would not talk about their heroism claiming others far more deserving were not recognized.

      2. Only wore a single row of their three highest awards by order of precedence on their service dress uniforms (the minimum required by uniform regulations).

      3. More than a few required a direct order to (very briefly) wear all of their awards for formal ceremonies or when the uniform specified was full dress.

      4. On three different occasions, I have assisted the family for the funeral of a service members, been handed a cardboard box of ribbons and medals to rig the deceased’s uniform, and found a Silver Star or Service Cross that the individual had never had mounted for wear on a uniform, that the family was unaware of the award’s existence or meaning, and never seen or had a chance to read the citation. The individual never talked about it to their family.

      Quiet heroism.

        “Quiet Heroism” …

…is why about 20 years ago when I read a story about 2000 WWII vets a day lying down for the last time, and me being in an area slam full of old guys, many of whom served and fit that quiet description, most not heroes but many who were. I started to ask more questions. When I would get them to talk, an hour would pass before I knew it and I felt gratitude, enlightenment, pride, and a new appreciation of the annoying 80 year olds all around me.

One of the guys was a shipmate of the Sullivan brother who all drowned in a sinking, but my guy was spared because he hasd dissed a superior the day prior to sailing and was pulled off the crew list, probably saved him from being drowned or eaten by sharks as many were. He was 93 when I met him and he did have a local newspaper clipping about that ship, the brothers, and him. Very cool.

But the one that stuck with me most was an old dude who did not even get shipped out; wrote a bit about him back then in ’08 on the Old Dead Blog…

        https://poetnthepawnbroker.blogspot.com/2008/03/real-historyand-i-let-it-get-away.html

Would our workforce and our pool of potential soldiers be anywhere near these guys? It seems not and yet I know many of my own gen (Nam) and many from the Forever War who are genuine Patriots and some even Heroes as well…I do sense that even that level of service and capability -not to mention the intentional wholesale destruction of the upper ranks like gen. tater salad here, is fast dripping away…

My uncle who was a tank troop CO in 2AD from Normandy to the end of the war was like that. I had to read his obituary to find out that he was the recipient of the Bronze Star with V, and two Purple Hearts along with it.

        God bless them.

Only after I returned from Nam, did I learn most of my father’s experiences in Germany. Including time in a stalag, where he nearly died. One vet to another. My dad and mom visited when I lived in West Germany. Drove him around Luxemburg. He knew directions to two homes he spent time before the Bulge. No wonder, he was reconn. Said he spent most of his time behind the lines — German lines.

      DogByte6RER,

Sleep apnea can get you a 100% disability rating from the Veterans Administration. A hysterectomy is an automatic 50% disability rating.

There are more than a few combat veterans with serious wounds who will not register for a disability rating nor use VA services because they feel others that they served with are in far more need of those services then they are.

Read Hollie McKay’s latest dispatch from Afghanistan … it seems as though the Taliban are quickly adopting Biden’s and Milley’s penchant for cronyism, putting early “lids” on business at 1:00 p.m., and incompetent style of governance:

Milley is sooo Brezhnev, with an incipient personality cult based largely on a glittering array of [frequently] meaningless medals. Whenever Brezhnev had a bad day, he’d award himself another. (Google “Brezhnev medals.”)

It’s amusing on one level, but if you dig deeper it’s a bit scary. It suggests to me that the man has deep political ambitious. And I’m starting to get the sense that he’d toss civilian oversight of the military aside without a second thought.

A friend of mine (E-5 Chem Recon) pointed out to me that under recent changes (within the last two decades), flag officers can recommend each other for citations.

And that an officer can obtain a CIB simply for commanding a combat unit, Or rather one that has been in combat “recently”, without actually being in even one IA,

Since the Goldwater – Nichols act (1986), it has become very easy for officers to climb the promotion ladder and get medals by being “good staff”. In fact, a lot never leave an office. As long as they check all the boxes, they get rewarded.

In the Navy, that means hyper-engineering types who don’t know how to con a ship.

In the Air Force, it means desk pilots who have elaborate theories about “air combat of the future” which look eerily like the theories of the 1950s that failed so brutally in the 1960s over Vietnam.

And in the Army and Marine Corps, it means pampered princes who have been in the Pentagon for their entire careers and probably can’t even remember how to obtain a correct sight picture with the rifle.

They are all, however, just bursting with theories about “how wrong everything in the Services is” and how to make it right. In the name of wokeness.

The next POTUS should start by retiring, if not firing, everybody above O-6 pay grade in all services.

    Just for starters.
