    Well, I’m happy.

That old Nazi Soreass has paid people to protest a legitimate process. The backlash to that is coming to fruition without violence on OUR part.

Can we get back to some semblance of ‘real’ now? Thank you.

When I was about eight I was given about a half million dollars in Confederate money. It was worthless. We were kids and we played with it till destruction. Sigh. Twenty years ago it was worth dollar for dollar. It was the neatest play money though.

    • November 14, 2016 at 9:34 pm

Okay. I’ll bet Zed’s a great hugger, and I need a hug. pronto. 🙂 That’s if Sam can spare him for an hour or so.

Oh, before I forget, there is a crisis amongst the denizens of the side that lost. They cannot bear the mere idea that their candidate lost.

If SoreAss can PAY people to disrupt a pro-Trump rally, I’m sure there are pro-Trump volunteers who would be glad to mingle with the crowd (walking sticks, canes, and trucker’s tire thumpers short bats in hand) to deal “equal rights” when the fun gets started.

Libs never let facts get in the way of their feelings. Here in Seattle, high school kids left their classes to protest (big surprise, huh?). They’d have been far better served to have spent that time studying civics and how elections work.

Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, Albuquerque, Austin, Minneapolis, Chicago, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City, Detroit, Miami, and some other places are locations that a leftist mob or rent-a-mob can be mobilized at will. Throw in Vancouver, Toronto and Ontario and you cover the partially English speaking part of North America.
All locations in the USA voted for Hillary. Alexis De Tocqueville was right. If Hillary does not represent the corruption he spoke of existing when we had large cities like Europe, I don’t know how much worse it can be.

    • November 14, 2016 at 11:04 pm

Oz, not to burst your bubble, but in many school systems the kids only study how to take tests (Common Core). They don’t learn how to read, write or do simple arithmetic. They can’t even write their own names in some cases.

My classmates in 2nd grade in 1952 were better educated than kids coming out of high school today. Not. A. Joke.

I’m a few years younger than you Delilah but the attitudes and values of the time were still in place.

Math was my worst subject but I’ve had young folks in this era stare at me in open mouthed wonder when I do simple math in my head. If they ask how I do it I tell them ” If calculators existed in my era and I tried to sneak one into school teacher would have blistered my butt with a paddle.” Once I got home I’d have even more blisters when my parents found out.” I finish with ” I’m still terrible at math!”

Many of the Viet-Nam war protestors became teachers later on. They brought their politics with them into the classroom. Now we have revisionist history and classes on how to protest.

That’s the problem with wars, the ones worth learning from go off and fight them, and some don’t come back.

      • November 15, 2016 at 1:49 am

Used to tutor in STEM and English on occasion. Tutored a HS senior in Algebra II prepping to graduate in a couple of weeks. She worked her way through the algebra problem with some effort, then plugged in the actual values and worked it out. In the end she got it down to 2×13…and reached for a calculator. I jerked the calculator out of reach and said, “NO. Simple multiplication. You should be able to do that in your head.” She couldn’t. She could barely do it on paper.

And that was in a private school.

It was a sad realization of where our educational system has gone.

      • November 15, 2016 at 11:42 am

That’s very strange, because my 2nd grade teacher had us doing fractions and multiplication tables and learning long division. 3-room schoolhouse, 2 grades in each room, three teachers – those ladies knew how to teach!
I have a game I play while waiting at traffic stops. I add up license plate numbers in my head, to reduce them to a single number, e.g., 2437876 = 811513=156=12=3.
It’s just a mental exercise, but it keeps the mind sharp. I should try multiplying those numbers to see what happens.

        MasterDiver

I’ll agree with that. I was sent to a Parochial school and the Sisters had us writing cursive “Palmer Penmanship” by the end of First Grade, Multiplication tables to 12×12, and Phonics to learn reading and spelling. The next seven years were more of the same pace, which would be unheard of in today’s public Schools.

It’s time for our President Elect to directly address the school kids of America with some words of mercy and truth. Monty Roberts of The Flag Is Up farm in the Santa Ynez valley knows how to work with troubled teens. So do the people at Big Oak. These youths have, largely, been manipulated into full-blown cognitive dissonance, they have been fed Jeremiah Wright style bilge as though it was trustworthy information, the opposite of what it is. How can they bring needed personal discipline to their studies when so distracted? And next week is Thanksgiving! A perfect time. A civics tutorial. The pilgrims tried socialism and had to toss it. Then everything that was failing due to socialism turned around. And on and on.

      Fraud In Education

I overheard a group of high school students carrying on a discussion. “F* this, f* that, f*ng other thing &c.” On and on and on they went in that vein, boys and girls.

A jouryneyman’s roll-away (big tool box) might be 6 feet wide by 40 inches high by 2 feet deep and contain hundreds of tools.

By contrast my “home” tool kit might consist of one slip-joint pliers and an old slotted screw driver.

Those children had my home tool kit in terms of their language skills. Time has the quality of, ready-or-not, propelling one through life. Education is preparation. Those children, you see, had been thoroughly defrauded, allowed to reach that advanced of an age UNABLE to articulate, describe, argue, & discuss ordinary matters of their lives. Achievement, exhortation, encouragement, contending and so forth were CLOSED DOORS. Perhaps solace to their churning souls is the irrestible lure of drugs, dope, and rioting (because nothing else ‘works’).

Like most “progressives”, Skye doesn’t understand that while a lot of electors might not be great fans of the President-Elect, they now feel free to admit they’ve flat-out HATED Hillary literally for decades.

This is their chance to belatedly give her the finger by ending her forty-four year political career once and for all.

And to keep their other fingers crossed, hoping that a new USAG and SCOTUS will follow up by ending her five-decade long crime spree rampage. Although I don’t see jail time for her at her age.

More likely a plea of diminished capacity by her counsel, over her objections. With her track record, proving it should be a slam-dunk for the defense.

I’ve thought a lot about the prosecuting angle, but right now, it would seem like petty revenge and just feed the flames of the Disgruntleds even more.

It might be better to let all that die down for a while, get down to the business of the State, and address the real issues this country has, which are jobs, a sluggish economy, and a trade dollar that is holding its own but needs to be strengthened further.

I think a conviction with jail time would cause more damage to the inner cities than it is worth. What WOULD be worth it is a detailed itemized list of her and the Clinton’s foundation “family fun.” Poor Billy cause now the beast is home all day. In point of fact if it can be proven to be dirty then the money (and the shortfall from the Clinton’s pockets) rolled over into the treasury might be almost as much fun and a durn good lesson for the next pos to try more of the same.

I have been having so many nonsensical arguments with my FB peeps…yes, it’s FB, but yes, I do love to argue…about the Electoral College….and how Trump is going to send the Gestapo after gays, blacks, Hispanics…the absolute hysteria is remarkable…I mean really a FREAKIN’ SAFETY PIN is the new symbol of the left?

I don’t know whether to laugh or weep for America…..I am just glad these butthurt idiots weren’t around on December 8, 1941…or we would be living The Man in the High Castle.

The sense of entitlement among the left that OF COURSE Hillary had to win, is just ridiculous…I can see the next 40 years of Democrat playbook for President a mile a way…black guy, white woman, Hispanic guy, black woman, gay guy, lesbian, one legged Puerto Rican lesbian…oyyy the affirmative action candidates ad nauseam….and nauseous.

I for one was sick of the “you have to vote for the (insert grievance group) candidate here or you’re a sexist, racist, homophobic white trash bigot.

Well SCREW YOU and the horse you rode in on….I for one think it’s a shame that we don’t drink from the skulls of our enemies anymore…the complete disintegration of the left is both wondrous and scary to watch. AND…just to make my day complete…the Democrats are going to name the ULTIMATE affirmative action candidate to run the DNC, a black radical Muslim man….the campaign ads almost write themselves.

Sigh….well…at least we still have naked Sam….God Bless America…and good American women that still love good American men…

They have no logic. it has been lost along with common sense and math in the common core Progressively educated.

Their skulls would have to be sanitized at 300 degrees and with organic cleansers before I would drink from any of their skulls.

Now that they may name an actually creed based enemy of the USA as a leader of their “Cause,” it will be time to educate all as to that creed and what those of that creed do to all that do not follow that creed (even the division/sect of that creed one follows).
Islam is the enemy of my tribe and of my nation, and of humanity. They want that war, foolishly. My tribe has killed many and thrown them out of their nation at a bloody cost and by killing many of them. They always attack. no treaty means anything more to them than a hold until they can attack again. Temporary truces that they feel obligated to break whenever it suits them are the only accommodation with them that is possible.
A Muslim in that post is a symbol and sign of their insanity.
