    An interesting value proposition:

A currency backed by gold that is also an instant collectors’ item among numismatists and connoisseurs of art.

Hmmm … I wonder how much Sam reveals on a 100,000K Gunpowder Goldback Note?!?

It’s bound to be light years better than that image of the Democrat fascist/racist Wilson who pollutes the very rare (and illegal to own) US $100,000K Note …

Triple busted. Instead of collecting taxes Gunpowder could sell “The Women of Gunpowder” calenders. Sell them in monthly, weekly and daily edition, at incrementally higher prices. Gunpowder would be the richest little township in Texas, if not the whole CRA.

Goldbacks exist as state currency. Issued by Utah, Nevada and New Hampshire. Wyoming to follow soon. None as attractive as the one shown here.

Texas is moving towards a gold backed digital currency… I’d rather they stuck to physical currency but yeah…

With you on the physical currency Way, esp. THIS physical currency…

But agreed, all this electron bullshit is really beyond me. We are very fortunate right now though as we have a hell of a muse in Elon in terms of uses and dangers of that shit, yes he’s a biz titan motivated by money, but like Trump, so far he seems to be motivated by something more, something deeper. We have seen what he has said about AI, motivated somewhat by self-interest? Maybe. Have to watch what he has to say going forward about that and micro-currencies, I do like the idea of metals-backed circulation.

Ugh. Gold-backed digital currency is a mug’s game. Remember when the junk we have now was “gold-backed paper currency?” And then suddenly it wasn’t.
