    What happens when you combine half a bottle of a nice 2010 pinot grigio and about 8 ounces of a 2002 Zifandel Port? A Red Head that can not spell. And nothing hurts.

    No is right, Sam. Everyone expected to just bend over and take it. Screw that noise.
    I can recommend nice Port and Ice Cream sandwiches btw.
    Oh. Rope. Lots of reusable rope. More cost effective in the long run.
    Time for some nice herbal tea. Y’all have a good and safe night.

      Of course, the fundamental problem with Professor Codevilla’s hypothesis is that the Israelites just had to physically get out of Egypt and evade Pharaoh’s army. Also, as the former Janissaries of Pharaoh before they were “demoted”, they had arms and knew how to use them.

      We have nowhere to go, physically. And the oligarchy is determined to strip us of our arms while already having loosed the mob upon us.

      I believe that violence, which really has already begun in the “enlightened blue” areas, is inevitable, just as it was in revolutionary France, and for approximately the same reasons on the part of those who define themselves as “enlightened”.

      They not only control the commanding heights of culture and governance, they also control the mob. For now.

      They might want to consider the fates of Maximilian Robespierre and Jean-Paul Marat. The one was executed by his own followers for being insufficiently radical. The other was done in by the cousin of one of his victims. (NB; never piss off a Corsican family.)

      Of course, by the time they bought it, the damage was already done.

      The question for us is, what will we end up with?

      A Bonaparte?

      A Cromwell?

      Or a Nehemiah Scudder?

        Concerning being armed and everyone thinking taking guns away makes us weak li’l sheep, consider;

        Bows, Crossbows, wrist rockets, Air rifles(Some are capable of taking down Bear and Moose{Look up ‘Texas Air Assault}), Blow guns, David and Goliath slings(Those take skill and practice but worth it), Knives, axes, crowbar, Molotov cocktail, and of course, old-fashioned medieval siege weaponry. Seriously, I have made a trebuchet that would launch a gallon bottle two hundred yards that I could put in the back of a Ford Ranger XLT, and eight pounds of Napalm is a convincing method to disperse a crowd…

        At this point I’d settle for a Jimmy Carter as long as he was elected fair and square. The Left is setting up the One Party dictatorship it has always dreamed of, and Republicans are letting it happen and the electorate is quietly watching the horror show unfold, more silenced voices each day…

        very nice piece by Codevilla.

        Unfortunately at the end it seems like we spent an hour on foreplay only for a failure to climax…by what methods and means will we separate? Not with Trump at the helm, he has been retired. And not by invoking the fate of oligarchs past; individuals do not our oligarchy make… the systemic and entrenched entities listed in the piece are accurate, but the (only) way to neutralize them is to divorce them, as the writer also references without guidance on the process or the aftermath. And without a structure and a military plan (both strategy and implementation) all else is moot, as citizen militia (zero reference there to the armed populace) and organized offensive/defensive sworn duty and ability, no civil or uncivil division is possible or sustainable.

        I do like the ostensible new party name though, the Smith Party; another reference that will sail over the heads of the oppressors.

        The States and Entities that encompass it, and form the Constitutional Republic of America, hold the keys and the tools to the future, if any, of our future as self-governing citizens and as examples to the world at large.

        The pieces are there, the reasoning is solid, the imperative is clear, and the urgency is obvious. So now what?

        I do like the new party name that I inferred, and the implication will sail right over their heads;

        The Smith Party.

        “The Smith Party” – named after Woodrow Wilson Smith?

      • March 30, 2021 at 12:31 am

        “Mr. Smith”. Or in this context, Messrs. Smith.

        We have to go to Washington to shut it down.

    Have to keep an eye out for my tax return, and the stimulus check. Between the two, I can get a few things I’ve been meeding for some time. Like a good all season tent, a pad, an rations.

    And ammo. Plenty of ammo…
