Last year or so, I had the opportunity to examine the history of the classic old tune “Moonglow.” The versions I have always been familiar with (and played at functions) were sophisticated swing compositions. But it’s a much older song than that, and if you go back far enough, you will find an older version available in ragtime. Has a cartoon lilt to it, rather than the smooth and well-deserved swing. Black rhythm was a critical contribution to American culture.
Turning the other cheek to evil just gets both sides of your face slapped. The left will not drop any of their (figurative) weapons until those tactics and techniques are turned back on them. As an example, Lawfare needs to be invoked by conservative District Attorneys to prosecute lefties who are escaping federal attention.
BTW, regarding ‘What’s in the air?’ the answer is ‘Legs.’
We are at a historical juncture when some truly wicked people have been given huge powers through accumulating huge amounts of wealth (almost by accident, being at the “right time at the right place”). These people for the most part are not prepared to wield such power, nor are they educated or reflective enough to recognize the damage they are doing to others and to the world (or they simply don’t care). Evil super-wealthy people who misuse their power and wealth for harmful purposes must be stripped of both.
Up here, blue is the colour of Conservatives and red is the colour of liebrals, with yellow appropriately being the colour of the hardcore socialist ndp. We do have ‘red Tories’ in the same way you have RINO’s but they’re starting to get pushed out and the Conservative party is way up in the polls right now but the media is trying their damndest to fix that since sockboy just doubled their payoffs.
As usual, everything that happens on the liebral side leads back to china and the ‘old chinese curse’ definitely applies…we’re living in interesting times.
Red hates Blue because they forced us to. We looked the other way for decades. We let them be them and did our best to disagree through debate with civility. And it went nowhere, and only got worse. Now we’re at the point – final tipping point reached >2 years ago during the pandemic actually – where all control is lost, up is down, wrong is right, we deserve death, and sin, perversion, and crime walk the land and are rewarded by the courts and the media.

And while it is all pinned on 11/4 it is not ALL pinned on DJT, but on US, we hired him to carry out the Preference Cascade that is demonstrated in that 2020 county by county election map…the Red is EVERYWHERE. As to the blues, we will take it to them and we will take it from them and everything else that is OURS not theirs…OUR culture, OUR history, OUR Constitution…and OUR country, unless we have to take our stuff and make us a new one. Lord let us hope so…but I would change the question around as I think it was Trump who inspired Orban in DJT’s first admin, and now absolutely the student has become the teacher in so many ways, primarily to stake your position and stick to your convictions, hard-ass style. Added to the events in South America, there is a global movement, have to see where it goes…
