One question Chris. Where is The Donald’s glass of milk? Eating Oreos requires a glass of what we in the South call “sweet milk”. I prefer to pop my Oreo into my mouth whole, take a sip of milk, and let it dissolve slowly. It makes the cookie last a long time and it gives me an excuse to keep my mouth shut.
And Chris, any feedback from the Trump folks about him appearing in your strip and how you’re portraying him? Wonder if he even knows he’s getting all this favorable exposure.

Don’t be so quick to dismiss the possible impact here Chris. Conservative commentary of any kind is rare enough, editorial cartoons of this caliber even more so, and “I daresay” one contemplating him in real-life scenarios is unique to this one right here.
DT has proven to be one of the most new-media savvy candidates we’ve ever seen, and if he’s as smart as I think he is, he’s not only aware of it but giving serious consideration to the ideas and comments that are featured here both from your pen and our keyboards…I think he would be might hard-pressed to find a more insightful context to what the future of the Republic could be and what he needs to do to enable it.
At the very top of that list I would place the idea of his planning in advance to be a one-term prez, providing a training-ground and proving-ground for what and who will follow, to wit:
Trump/Cruz ’16
Cruz/??? ’20
I would note that the singular high-polling candidate that the Donald has not eviscerated in his speeches is Ted C. and I would like to think and do desperately hope that the reason is that he recognizes the real deal when he sees it and is giving serious consideration to the ticket(s) mentioned above.

Cruz is actually a far better candidate, but he can’t keep his mouth shut about issues that drive many potential voters away, 4 or 8 years studying under Trump would make him a world beater…. Brains and Savvy well beyond what would be required.
