The various entities that were all too willing to shovel cash to byethen and his family members in order to get the VP then President fof the US to maybe do them a favour or two are still in business, the middlemen that helped it along still want to get their cut and the dem party needs the money, even moreso if their ‘USAID’ graft taps dry up and stay off for a few years. You can’t kill corruption, you can only expose it and let the cold hard light of day drive it back into the darkness for a little while where it can crawl off to hide and lick it’s wounds then come back more experienced and hungrier than before once the light fades again.
