F&%King Awesome! RHT, I belong to The Collins
Foundation, and have flown in B-17 ‘909’
3 times; it crashed in Hartford Ct. on Oct.
2-2019 (I wasn`t on that one) some were
      killed.

      Thanks for the link.

My pleasure Mort, and do tell. We used to live in Chico, CA and had line of sight to the airport. Aero Union was there then, so it made a handy “fix it” stop for Collings Foundation A/C when on tour. I actually won a ride on ‘909’. Local car rental agency sponsored a radio contest on WWII history and won a slot. That is another story in itself.

Another time, I went to the airport just to go through ‘909’ on the ground. There was a white haired gentleman there with whom I struck up a conversation. Turned out he was a B-17 navigator, and flew two of his missions on the original ‘909. I had my mini-DV cam with me and recorded as we both went through from nose to tail. I have it burned to DVD.

Obviously a topic near and dear to my heart. My dad was a B-17 pilot with this group–

He flew 35 combat missions over Europe.

That brought instant chills. I witnessed many warbirds make their final flight onto the Wright Field landing strip — and into the Air Force Museum (or whatever its called now). Lord, the soul-shaking roar of those V-16s and Radials. Fourth of July was another world.
All but one of those museum birds used that strip. A BlackBird had to land at Paterson AFB strip co=located nearby since Wright’s strip was too short. She made a very low, very slow speed, nose-high (for her) flyover first….she actually beat the coast-to-coast record set by DC’s BlackBird, hence the slow overflight before landing…burning up time.
Some things (like almost monthly rubbing the belly of “Bocks Car” and telling her “Good Girl”) never fade. And yeah, I am that old…8 decades worth

Actually, Virginia didn’t ask for it. Government workers living across the border from D.C. “outvoted” them.

time would be appropriate, or perhaps

Actually, no one asked for this. She ran as a moderate, then flipped the day after the inauguration.

This is not good. It means no one can believe any campaign promises or any espoused policies that any candidate makes in the future. So what does the voting public use to discriminate among candidates, if they’re lying their way into office?

She’s from Jersey. Moved to VA as a youngun. UVA. CIA, K Street, groomed by the worst to do her worst to the middle class. NOVA is different from SOVA and the rest of the state, except VABch (completely liberal, even WITH all the military). Not sure how it’ll all work out, but it won’t be pretty. VA had a $25B tax surplus. Why raise taxes? To pay for comnunist shiite to be foisted upon Virginians who dare to think outside the collective, tjose who are not an appointed or annointed elite. Time to take it back. Never trust a demicrat. They want to keep the plantation open, same as the plan for the Civil Rights Act. Close the trough. Bar the door.

He waved Dr. King’s martyrdom around like it was his personal aegis.

And from behind it, he used his non-profits to blackmail corporations. “Give me money or I call you racist.”

He was one of the most divisive of “black leaders”, constantly attacking the Congress Of Racial Equality (CORE) for not signing on to his “crusades” and not giving him money.

He was an extortionist, a con artist, a grifter, and one of the worst bigots in American history. He was the anti-George Wallace.

A friend, since departed, was an X-ray repair tech in the Chicago area, visiting many of the clinics and doctors offices as well as the prisons, manufactures and hospitals in and around the area. Standard practice was to access the records and usage of the units. South Chicago clinic, monthly appointments, VDRL tests, one Jesse Jackson, for years, according to staff….

There are no “moderate” Democrats whatsoever. They are all either crypto-communists or out-of-the-closet communists.

NOTE: Fetterman is the apparent only outlier … but this is likely due to the stroke he had which seems to have somewhat reset the amyglia in his brain.

CONCLUSION: Strokes may have a general political benefit to Democrats by resetting their brains that are under Marxist control. More trial experiments will be needed for further study …
