Hmmm…Skye seems very excited…and that dress looks like it won’t take much tequila to make it fall off!!

      *innocent look* What dress?

Skye really DOES need to dress up a bit if she wants to impress the sheriff for a second date.

On the contrary, I think that outfit will surely get his attention..at least a certain part of him!

“Hm, deputy, is that a pistol in your pocket or are you just happy to see me!”

It doesn’t take tequila for Skye’s clothes to fall off.

Though I do want that chili recipe.

Skye won’t eat that chili, that would sorta be like cannabalism….

And if you don’t want your baby bunnies to be cannibal hasenpfeffer, make sure daddy rabbit ain’t around when mama’s birthin’ ’em. (Ask my traumatized preschool daughters, now 40, about that little farmgirl lesson.)

Yep, got a hatband or belt, depending upon the size of the critter, plus the chili. My favorite place in Hong Kong was Snake and Ale — grilled, fresh cobra on a skewer, with a venom martini on the side.

“going all Brian Williams on me?”
What!? Skye is impugning that Sam would exaggerate and tell lies to her?
Sounds like projection. And being a sister.

Chris, as a sidebar on a purely technical note, I really liked the effect you achieved on that chili pot!

Must be a new one. After boiled crabs, boiled shrimp, Frogmore stew, cows foot soup and tons of chili, gator, snake, hog, deer, vegetarian and beef, mine looks like it fell off a train.

I’m thinkin’ our Lil Skye is headin’ for some big life changes if/when she gets into a relationship with the sheriff. He seems to be just the cowboy who can tame that little filly.

Never had rattler chili. Did once have a rattleburger.,With lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and double mustard it was pretty dang good.

Hey now, if every “journalist” that is full of shit and him/her self got dumped, we wouldn’t have any “journalists”. Hmmm…

Maybe the same would work for “politicians”…and “bureaucrats”…and…hey this could be fun! Thanks Bri, for your inspirational trend-setting “journalism”.

Re the ‘coffeepot effect’. Cris’s artistic talent is a joy to behold. Go back and look at his earlier work and marvel (no pun intended!) at how much he has grown as a graphic artist.

I thought Sam couldn’t cook [” I burn water” comes to mind]. Never HAVE seen her cook. When did this come about?

When markets and prepared meals by others require travel, you’d be surprised on how old school cooking someone can go. Plus Wade must have a good garden and food stores set aside.

If, one can read instructions, one can become a good to excellent cook. Sam is an engineer.
