The existence of Dims and socialists (redundant) for the last 37 months has been one of anguish and anger and hatred and fear…and disappointment.

Their every moment has been consumed with endless lies and obstruction in the futile pursuit of their obsession to get Trump and destroy America.

May God help us to punish their evil and continue their wretched existence of crushing disappointment for at least 60 months more…and many more beyond.

I’m a Democrat and was applauding the gun rights activists today in exercising their constitutional right to peacefully assemble for redressing a grievance with the government. Nobody was shot or otherwise injured. The protesters made their points and then went on about their lives. This is the America we should embrace. I’m for reasonable and responsible gun ownership. I saw that today in Virginia.

The population of concealed carry licensees is more lawful than the police, they are also, as illustrated, very tolerant, which lends itself to suffering the abuses of those that are prone to emotionalism over reality.
Why is it the abusers never seem to see the reality of themselves? Or is it that they enjoy it, which is truly evil?

They live in a world in which our forebears, in their wisdom, established certain rights for all.

They don’t like that. As a self-anointed elite’, they believe that they should have privileges denied to everyone else.

And that they should be able to “rule without let or hindrance” and never face any consequences for their actions.

They openly flaunt their hatred of “society” and its mores, and sneer at anyone who disagrees with them. Their default gesture toward those they regard as their inferiors is the old “middle finger flagdown”.

The thing is that, while behaving like a nasty cross between medieval feudal nobility on one side and the French Jacobins on the other, they don’t really want to actually live. As Ayn Rand said, they want to get away with living, which is something fundamentally different.

I personally believe that eventually, the contradictions in their “philosophy”, that of would-be “philosopher-kings” who want slaves and utter destruction simultaneously, will destroy them. It happened in the Soviet Union, after all, and it’s happening in Venezuela (and possibly Iran) right now.

But they’ll cause a great deal of damage, loss and heartache to others before they finally go down. I suppose that, at least, will please them.

No, they genuinely believe that in the end they will have a Triumph. With all their enemies dead, or fed to lions in some Colosseum. With them sitting above it all like patricians, getting high and being sucked off by a slave simultaneously.

Of course, they’re rather overlooking what all the “janissaries” they’ve invited in from the Mideast and etc. will be doing at that point.

Hint; they might want to look up what Alaric and his Visigoths got up to in Rome in 24 August 410 AD.

But my understanding was that it was – at least in part – a protest against the newly elected Democrat-controlled legislature’s and Democrat Governor’s announced intent to institute very strong common sense “gun control” measures including prohibition of certain types of long guns, mandatory registration of otherwise prohibited firearms (the penalty for failure to register being CONFISCATION of said otherwise prohibited firearms), along with other such common sense measures as they chose beginning with declaring the state capitol to be a “gun free” zone.

There is no such thing as the democrat’s “Common Sense Gun Laws”. You have been told lies and deception. Every single city with high crime rates is democrat held. Every single city with gun control has high crime rates. Every single time a democrat issues more gun control it controls the people into crime and poverty. Every time a democrat tries to lower crime, the crime rate goes up.

        This is not an accident.
The Democrats’ hold on power depends on promises _not_ kept, a privileged elite, and a choke hold on the election process by any means necessary.
        It is corruption incarnate.

“I’m for reasonable and responsible gun ownership.”

That is the whole of the issue in a nutshell…what exactly is that, and who decides? Is it as so clearly laid out in the 2A of the Constitution? Or is it as lusted after by the party elites who justifiably fear it?

It was a great day for Americans supporting their rights and the right to defend themselves. They acted with respect and decorum. They carried their weapons without intimidation. These are lethal weapons but they were carried responsibly and safely, to the disappointment of the mainstream media.

However Gov Coonman and his lackeys in the legislature hopefully will realize that the demonstrating citizens today are peaceful and respectful, but they DO NOT ABIDE TYRANTS. Better reread the motto on the state seal.

I don’t think there was any chance of it going “Charlottesville”. With that many armed demonstrators, if things went pear-shaped, you’d either get a “Texas church shooting” incident where the demonstrators immediately took down the troublemakers, or you’d get a massacre of the governor and his supporters and protectors. I’d bet on the first option, personally, since it’s likely that the only crazies present were in the big house …

I’ve seen that in every Presidential campaign event that went through my home town. When the candidates come through in a motorcade, GOP supporters use the trash bins, Dems just throw trash everywhere.

In either case, you can always tell afterward where the news media were. They leave behind the largest piles of trash, usually right next to trash cans they never bother to use.

Incidentally, MSNBC leaves half-empty cups of Starbucks on top of everything, even perched on the ornamental surrounds of lamp posts.

CNN just dumps them out, crushes the cups, and drops them in the middle of the puddle. In the middle of the sidewalk.

Yes, their contempt for the rest of us is in fact nearly infinite.

A number of photos that show dressed and armed personnel that the presstitutes will use in their condemnations.
But. Changed no legislative actions. All the anti-gun laws are still in process with the same legislative body still doing what they were doing before and feeling confident about it.

Getting the vote out and prosecuting fraud and corruption in the voting and the people involved is still exceedingly critical for us to continue as a nation. Check into the voting problems VA. had to end up as it now is.

I expected foul play so I stayed outside the gate with the armed folks. Wife went inside the fence.

We shared notes after and both had an uplifting experience.

My description is I saw Very Heavily Armed units of militia, notable was the silent brigade. It was quiet, positive, and peaceful, and COLD. Standing room only for a few hours.

From my comment yesterday at gunnie blog SayUncle…

“Of course Gov. Blackface and the lamestream will claim credit for the security measures they enacted keeping order and bad guys away, not because it is the same group of America and Freedom loving patriots that have come to the media day every year without incident.

But everybody these days know they don’t control the message anymore.

So if it accomplished nothing as to the socialist agenda of Blackface and his handdlers, it did at least make a good and strong impression on the people who can take back his office…and I gather that a recall petition is going forward.

It won’t be an easy fight and there will be more of them. If their kind are allowed to wrest away the presidency, the responses will necessarily be handled less peacefully, with readiness to respond with force when confronted with the force that certainly will come in that scenario. May God save us from it happening, but give us strength and courage if it does.

      You might want to read this;

      https://ia601308.us.archive.org/17/items/JohnRossUnintendedConsequences/John%20Ross%20-%20Unintended%20Consequences.pdf

It’s fiction, but the events prior to the main characters “taking over” the story are historical fact.

I don’t consider BATFET using helicopter gunships to be far-fetched. Unlike Ross, I believe most of their field agents believe they are on a Holy Crusade against “evil” gun owners, so everything they do is “sanctified”.

And I believe that the extremists running the Democratic Party now would order such measures, and worse, if they had the chance. Just like they have no problem with violence on the part of their supporters.

      It all goes back to this;

      Eon’s Laws

      First Law

Human beings choose to follow belief systems, religious, political, or otherwise, which sanctify the sort of actions they would do anyway. The belief system just lets them feel self-righteous about what they want to do to others.

Rather like what Callahan said about “Scorpio” in the movie Dirty Harry (1971), the main reason they do what they do is simply because they like it.

It makes it extremely difficult to talk them out of it. Combining self-righteousness with the visceral, almost sexual rush caused by that mindset makes it as addictive as crack.

And ultimately just as big a disaster for everybody other than the addict.

The Virginia patriots could do the same as has been done in CT and NY — basically, ignore the “law”. IIRC, compliance rates in those two states are 10% (of estimated gun owners?) or less.
(If I am incorrect in my facts and figures, please correct me)
Giving a silent “finger” and “Molon Laave” to TPTB.
And what do TPTB do about it? Mass arrests? Midnight raids? Pick off one at a time? “Red Flag”?
I think we now have enough history and hindsight that the people are prepared, and have had enough time and example to prepare. Alerts. Alarms. “Meatspace” face to face meetings with like minded neighbors, setting up “you watch my back, I’ll watch yours”.
If any of those “alarms” are tripped, I’m thinking that word would quickly spread, (re)actions just as quickly taken. The Minute Man lives.
