At this point it would be nice to replace the loved and lost. I found that such cannot be planned. I will put it on my list.
    1. Replace world class …….

  • WayneM

Last year, I made a resolution to avoid making resolutions. So far, it’s working out well.

Sam is beyond world class… We’re talking unicorn class at least.

    • GWB

It’s the only resolution I’ve ever really kept.

  • Pamela

Did you perchance find a red pair that said “Naughty is the new Nice” on them?

    • Kafiroon

Now how many comments will be all like; “Just let me check the foot end of the bed and see if they are there”

      • Pamela

        Found them.

        • JTC

          Dare I ask where? 😉

    • Vince

Oh no but I wish I had.

    • GWB

Am I allowed to dream that I did? And I found them where they started the evening?

  • If there were some way to keep the past 8 years in a closed book, but with all those little paper bookmarks sticking out of it, here and there to remind us that we must at all times be vigilant….

  • 18.5 days. WOOHOO!!!!!!

    • Steve_1066

Yeah, but that looks to be an increasingly dangerous timeframe. I saw an EXTREME (I hope and pray) speculation that President Obama could use the legally required change-over between Congressional Sessions to do recess appointments. The biggie would, of course, be to the Supreme Court, but there are others as well where he could cause malicious mischief!

  • Pete231

Yup, had my black-eyed peas today , too…..

  • Bill G

For his last days Obola certainly seems set on giving us a World Class Screwing.

    • I’ll give him this: he knows what to do with a lame-duck presidency. Unlike his candy-a$$ed predecessor. Just saying’…

As you noticed from actions in the primaries, and then in the discussion and support given prior to the election, the Bush family and the Obama family all were on the global team. Recall even GHWBush and his “New World Order”” speech. Bill and Hillary are also on that NWO team. Reagan was not on the team, but they co opted him with GHWB and a Bush family friend’s bullet.
A 1930’s film showed the local boss controlling all sides in an election in his city. All candidates with any expectation of victory in the 2016 Presidential race were part of the establishment team, even if they differed on many major issues. Recall that only one candidate of all of the candidates rejected amnesty and a path to citizenship for the invaders to our nation. That one candidate is the candidate that won the American people’s vote and is now the person slated to take the oath of office on January 20, 2017, no matter where he might be forced by circumstances to take it.
Obama has been following Cloward-Piven, Alinsky, Stalinist, Leninist, Marxist, and Muslim rules since before the day he occupied the white house.

i wonder when was the last time Barbara Bush’s adopted children, Bill and Hillary Clinton, visited her?

Chris, I like your mix of characters over the last few days — especially Anatoly, who is (in a way) my favorite. He’s naïve on some things, and yet very wise and observant on many others. Nice to see the “good guys and gals”!

    Regards,
    Tom Stockton

      agree…a clever fellow.

Reflecting back, I know that I did much to contribute to world peace in the last two years as defined in western civilization. I could rest content on that. But it really only helped set up the battle that is now raging. Remember the power of the individual. Ideas and personal persistence and delivery matter.

  • Grunt GI

Yup. Nothing like starting off the new year with a bang, eh Zed?

    I highly recommend it.

    🙂

    • JTC

I think he meant banging other guns, but a cannon ball is good too.

      Either way, nice piece.
