    Go and do WHAT, Sam?
    Bail her out? Again?
How much of your life are you willing to spend saving her ass again and again?

Let Skye stay safely (relatively) in jail.

Skye will learn when the sun rises in the west, sets in the east — what happened to skye and the sheriff….did he get wish….or just back off completely…..when is her buddy from germany going to show up….some never learn and somebody picks up the pieces over and over, over and over, ad infinitum…

    A “DUI Warning?”

    WTF?

    • January 24, 2016 at 11:38 pm
      Vang

Maybe it’s a Texas thing? Where you’re close or at the legal limit but your BAC is coming down and they don’t want to just release you? That’s the ONLY thing I can think of to explain a ‘DUI Warning’.

I seem to recall Don Portego (Zed’s “step-father-in-law”, or something like that) designating the Double-D a part of Argentina with all permanent residents thereof having the equivalent of “ambassadorial immunity” (or something like that). IIRC, that usually precludes prosecution for all but the most egregious offenses—and, in some cases, not even then . . . if there’s no serious injuries and/or catastrophic physical damage. : )

Er…not my field, but I believe that only applies to events that take place on the property itself. As all the residents are (if I recall) still US citizens, they are not “foreign ambassadors” nor do they hold diplomaticly-immune passports issued by Argentina. In addition, they have not presented diplomatic credentials to the US State Department and been recognized. So they, officially, are US citizens residing on foreign soil and under separate (apparently locally-unenforced) law statutes.

Oh, and the sheriff’s a buddy of Zed…

It depends on a lot of things, but it is within an individual Peace Officer’s discretion whether or not to actually cite someone (for pretty much anything but especially misdemeanors) for an observed offense. In a lot of more rural counties they’re more inclined to give ’em a warning ticket, throw ’em into county lockup until they sober up and let ’em call somebody to drive ’em home. Whether or not they are actually cited for DWI, their vehicle goes into the county impound lot and it can cost a fairly pretty penny to get it outta hock. And you are charged the basic fee + plus towing charge (the county isn’t going to pay the wrecker to tow it in) and then an additional fee for every day (or part thereof) it sits in the impound lot. I don’t drink so have never had to worry about DWI but my youngest brother (who died a drunk – you’re welcome to ask me the difference between an “alcoholic” and a drunk) had his car impounded more’n once. The last time was shortly before his liver finally killed him and my dad had to go get his car out of impound. NOT a fun task, let me assure you – nor cheap.

Couldn’t bail her out before mid morning at the earliest and by then she’ll likely be well on the way to being sober.

Depends on if he was driving when she (they) came to police attention. Probably an uncomfortable interview if it was by the sheriff.

La Palin is backing a goy who was born on home plate and thinks he hit a homerun. Many people think he is running for president but from my perspective it looks like he is running as the extension of Preezy Obola in order to become the 1st King of America.

I saw where Bloomberg is poised and ready to run if the Damnocrats ax Hildabeast again (like they did in ’08). Be interesting to have two billionaires running for POTUS. Especially since Bloomberg is actually RICHER than “The Donald”. In my estimation, Trump would be less bad (marginally) for the country than Bloomberg. If it comes to those two I figure I’ll be camping in the mountains in the Gila National Forest. I’ll cast my vote for Cruz in the primary and then get ready for the fall of western civilization. Don’t expect it’ll be long now.

I am asking the same questions myself of my favorite Alaskan politico. Couldn’t she have waited until after South Carolina before making an endorsement?

The prospect of two civil wars within the major political parties would normally not be a big deal with me, but these are not normal times. So much blood on the walls, and there are voters who have loudly stated that they will stay home if their candidate of choice isn’t isn’t the nominee.

Here’s wishing we all get clarity in the months ahead, and Skye doesn’t embarrass herself further during the next 72 hours. 😉

With that title to the ‘toon, I keep hearing the song lyrics “Don’t ask me why, cause I don’t know”.
Whatever, ahem, went down with the bearded one she is in one piece although obviously suffering from a katzenjammer*.
*I’ve just seen, via a page on FB, that this means “A hangover; a severe headache resulting from a hangover.”

To the real question, Why Sarah, why? Was this “quid pro quo?” If it is/was then I’d like to see her as Attorney General. Imagine a hockey mom in lipstick finally enforcing all the laws with the blind eye of justice sparing no purveyor of high crimes and misdemeanors. You do the crime, you do the time.

    Hard core questions.

Palin is a hard core answer.
Several good conservatives are in office helped by her good graces.

    I have received those calls.

The law enforced again. Maybe I could do more than read the law.

We will keep the ship together even if RINOS and some others jump …

There is much good to be done, and much evil to be undone. We must put our oxygen masks on before we help others.

Repel the invaders. First. Then, when the ship is stable, consider the next moves. We have undergone generations of attack without enough observing the enemy at action. The bg picture is presenting itself. The enemy and its forces are no longer hidden. That means the targets are visible. Those we thought were allies may turn out not to be. We may find allies where we thought none were. I do not require purity in all to have an ally. We are all human and have failures. God made us imperfect. We must do the best we can. With a little help that may be enough. At Lepanto the Turkish Muslims were defeated by an inferior cobbled together Christian fleet, once again saving Europe until the next invasion. Vienna was the next great battle saving Europe. The next stage has just begun, and it is aimed world wide. Their armies have been grown. They are on the move.
Dang. I have to join this fray more so than I have done.

Even the smallest circumstances can be viewed from perspective.

Let’s see how many comments I can add to today’s ‘toon:
    “Orange is the new black”
    “Skye stirring in stew”
I wonder what DID happen to Mr Beta Male Redbeard? Did the sheriff throw his ass in the next (male?) cell over? Did he bail on Skye and run away at the first hint of trouble?
And yes, let Skye sit in the pokie for at least a day. Don’t know that Skye will learn anything from this lesson, but at least Sam and Zed will know where she is.

  • January 25, 2016 at 3:39 pm

“Why Sarah, why?” The anti-McCain. Hard lesson learned.

“quid pro quo?” Of course, it’s politics.

Attorney General? I think you have to be an attorney for that.

But Sarahbarracuda, MamaGriz, LipstickHockeyMom, Milf/Gilf…bestowed by competitors, family, and God.

Regardless of what the “deal” is, one badass partner/teammate. Veep? Maybe, but looking ahead, that’s gotta be Ted. I’ve been saying RNC chair where I think she could be the most destructive/constructive, but she would be awesome at Interior, or how about BATFE? 🙂

But before she can do any of that, she had to pick a winner. Now you know “why Sarah, why?”.

Way back when I was a kinde, my grossmutter explained to me when I asked what katzenjammer meant from the katzenjammer kids cartoon that it meant a wild, noisy, unrulychild. Sorta like a ball of cats fighting. She never mentioned a hangover. I think that is a modern internet definition.
