DT, do NOT eat anything that bitch touches!

Except, you know, her lunch. 🙂

“Trump? We don’t serve your kind here!”

“Bitch, I just bought the place. Make me a sammich. Now. Or you’re fired.”

Agree with JTC. I wouldn’t trust “it” to hand me a sealed water….

Question about the signed ‘toon for the $150 Jan/Damon level. How far back can we go? I have a hankering for the Sunday comic from 2010 (I think) “The Second Declaration of Independence” (have to research and make sure).

I’d like to give more, but I also want to give to Bill Whittle’s new site. Decisions, decisions.

I do it by the past year.:)When I print one out;that’s it for that one.

  • June 1, 2016 at 11:52 pm

Damn. Just damn. Chris my Gmail went down two weeks ago and I just now was able to retrieve messages. I am so damn sorry that I missed your note prior to your personal trial, and for what must have seemed like my insensitivity in comments. I do hope and pray that all the hopes and prayers of your many virtual friends here, have helped with the outcome.

To think that you have not missed a beat in this awesome daily pictorial, and with some of your best commentary ever, is almost beyond belief; you are one tough dude. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again although you must feel that I let you down before…I’m close enough to be there for whatever you need whenever you need it; I re-sent my cell phone to you at gmail, please do not hesitate to use it.

To everybody here, I am rescinding my earlier statement that I would have to reduce my payment for services to the host here this year, and am going to bite the bullet and kick in at Skye level. Please, whoever possibly can, do the best you can. Financial support can’t alter God’s will, but it can surely help make dealing with it less worrisome. And of course all the talking to God in unison that we can do, sure as hell can’t hurt the prospects for Dad Muir.

Chris, there is a “Double D” club opening up on Southern Blvd. west of the Fl turnpike here in West Palm Beach! You got anything to do with that? Best to your Dad.

    • June 2, 2016 at 8:40 pm

My ol’ stompin’ grounds! Learned to swim and fish in the canal next to the turnpike at Belvedere Rd. (wouldn’t want to do that now), and built a bench in the trees next to the old fairgrounds racetrack to watch the stockers for free as a kid (trees are gone, not sure about the track), and a few years later built one of the first houses off Southern on Seminole Pratt Whitney where now there are thousands. Mostly woods and wetlands back then, it’s a little different four decades on, ain’t it?

Anyway, yeah apparently that Double D (stands for dinner and dancin’ they say, heh) will be a version of Gilley’s or Billy Bob’s, but with stripper poles. And even with all the growth there’s still a pretty strong element of old Southron out in Loxahatchee and further west out in the Glades, so it’ll probably do okay.

But don’t go comparing that to what I envision as our heroes’ DD, Double Down, and DDQ, where you can see and ride for miles, kill a few skeets, have some tasty ‘Q, and maybe get a peek at some tasteful T and/or A.

BTW, I trained a guy named Al at the pawn counter about ’79 who later opened WPB’s first mega-pawn he called Big Al’s on Military near Forest Hill; he made a bunch of money and sold out to Cash America…you got anything to do with that? 😉

        Big Al

No I’m in the military industrial complex and if you know WPB you know who that is. The race track has been gone for years. So much growth out there it’s like Lauderdale moved north. Who are all these people and where did they come from. First saw WPB in 59′ it was Gods country.

One more thing, Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd. has a Publix within about three miles of the Corbett area gate now!

Hey Chris, I couldn’t do the level of support I’ve done in the past this year having just moved. But you know I’ve been there to support you for many years, including the time when you were unable to work for a while due to personal issues. Love your political cartoon and love all you do for us! May God bless you and your family!

Oh, and thanks for your reply on twitter. May your dad’s recovery be fast and furious!

YES! Nice one, Chris. Nice artwork making DC look like Mos Eisley, too.

I’m digging out my jar of pennies to make a donation.

Great art today, as usual, Chris. I’ll squeeze the budget, and see what’s left later in the month, but I WILL contribute! I have some lefty students taking a SCUBA class who may become unwitting indirect contributors. 😉

Hope your Dad is doing better.

Donny me lad. You better not go into any place willing to service the likes of her. Might pick up a social disease you can’t get rid of.
Be bad for your health and end your life.

I can’t tell – is that the Hillabeast or Fauxcahontas?
In either case, Greedo – perfect!

Prayers still going out for your dad. May his recovery be speedy.

I’ve been wanting to donate for a number of years, but money was tight. Saved up and went for Jan and Damon. Had to serve the cause and cause this site is a bit of heaven in these times.
