My wife & I have libs in depth and concluded that Liberalism must be a mental illness not yet defined in the DSM.
Unfortunately our daughter seems to be afflicted and we can’t understand what we did wrong. We do have high hopes for our granddaughters, the oldest (16) has won numerous debates on the team from the Conservative position using logic & facts. We are extremely proud of her and the many weekends she spent at our house discussing politics with an open mind and then researching at our request to make her own decisions about her beliefs.
We keep hoping it sticks despite all attempts by peers & teachers to change her beliefs. BTW she is a straight A student and on the principal’s student advisory council.
Beyond the incomprehensible that any child of a “MudMarine” could turn lib, at least the next gen is on track.
Word to the wise; try to help granddaughter in choosing the place of her next educational level…most people really just have no idea how completely they have turned anti-American and anti-God (a friend sobbed to me after his son’s Christmas visit that four years at Ga Tech of all places, academia had “educated” God right out of his soul).
Come to think of it, as I assume your daughter went to college, that is likely exactly what happened to her. Our new direction at the fed level might begin to alter this through attrition, but these socialist atheists are entrenched and tenured, so do monitor to the extent possible.

Our daughter graduated HS as an honor student with the Governor’s seal.
We tried endlessly to persuade her to apply to UVA but she insisted on VCU which is a cesspool of ultra liberalism. She did graduate but with 2.4 or something like that (I graduated Magna Cum Laude 3.90, lol, because my wife threatened me if I made less than an A. She wasn’t with me until 1/2 way through my Sophomore year. (She scares me, all 5′ 1″, 110 lbs of her). Our daughter did drugs, was promiscuous, and cut many classes. It obviously affected her grades and everything else.
She married a good former Marine, just like dad, but taller. Over the years she has pussified him. They both voted for the Kenyan bastard – TWICE!!!
They claimed to have voted for Trump this time, but who the hell knows after all these years of lies.
Our granddaughter campaigned for Trump and voted for him in the HS mock election. Which he won decisively. Maybe it just skips a generation as his parents are also Conservatives and his father was a Marine too.
We hold out hope for her and her 2 younger sisters whom she has protected in school every time she could. We continue to pray and hope it sticks with her and that her sisters follow her.
