She says “men want sex” like (a) it’s a bad thing and (b) it’s an unknown. I worry about lasses like her. Something ain’t firing right.

Nah. She’s just stating the truth. We mens is easy.

I have been reading the ROK site for a while. Good articles generally and very insightful on the modern scourge that is feminism.

Sam is a very wise woman. She knows how to get and keep a good man.

And Zed, well, Zed is our hero. He knows just how to bring out the best “assets” in his woman.

Jan is almost there. She just need a ROK shirt. Or, half a shirt, maybe.

    🙂

“Men want Sex.” Well no shit Sherlock. So do Women.
Though the younger ones have me worried.
They need their eyes crossed and toes curled. On a regular basis.

Have you ever met a woman like me
Willing to extend to see passions need
One who enjoys the smell, the feel, the taste of a man
By the way I walk, the turn of my head, the blink of an eye
    My interest is piqued
    Will you watch
    Will you approach
Will you pursue until I catch you
A kiss on the cheek, a nibble of my ear
Will your skin feel my nails as I scream your name
As sweat slicked bodies cool and minds return to rational thought
Has the frenzy eased its passing or met its match
Is the hunger appeased or is this just the first course
Will the years tell the tale
    So, what is the answer
Have you ever met a woman like me?

I met her 25 years ago and she is still the love of my life.

Ozymandias: Took me that long to find out which arm it is under. Fortunately, I eventually got it right… 57 years later with the same redheaded witchy-poo.

The woman I have fallen in love with over the last year and a half…lives in Toronto! She’s a geologist by trade, minored in astrophysics (I kid you not!) when she graduated with her degree from the University of Toronto.
And she’s a Tory at least. NOW that I have to work my ass off to convince her that #PresidentTrump will not blow up the world!
        She’s worth it. Carpe Diem!

        Carpe doubleD’em! 😉
Just convince her that you should be together if it blows up. Met the love of my life in the Clinton years, married her, and can’t believe how fast the time has gone since then, with every day a greater joy than the last.
        Good luck.

    • November 26, 2016 at 11:37 pm

Yes’m, married her at 17, three weeks from Sunday will be 45 years…with a bun in the oven, the result of exactly the feminine passion you so eloquently describe.

Are there courses? Will the years tell the tale? Again, yes and yes.

      Pamela,
Very well said. It was 30 years ago that I met her. Married 28 years now.

“Fake” or “real”, news with an agenda is not news, it’s propaganda.

I like Zed and Jan’s approach, take in the “news”, mix it with what you think and know, and use it to benefit your own “real” life.

Liking Damon’s observation too…you make a pretty cool black dude, Chris.

    • November 26, 2016 at 11:22 pm

Er, Zed and Sam’s approach…but Jan should use it too.

    Oh, I may be weary
    We ladies do get weary
Wearing that same old tired dress
    But when I get weary,
    Try a little tenderness.
    (HT to Otis R.)

    • November 27, 2016 at 9:48 am

      From my memory:
She may get weary, women do get weary,
      Wearing that same shabby dress,
So while she’s weary, try a little tenderness.
It’s not just sentimental, she has her grief and care,
but a word that’s soft and gentle, makes it easier to bear.
She may be waiting, just anticipating things she may never possess,
So while she’s waiting, try a little tenderness.

Love is her whole happiness. Coming up on 50 years next year. There may be a few thorns, but it is still a bed of roses.

Yeah, well, my version is how I feel, sport.

ROK is … interesting. They could use the perspective of some older, more seasoned men regarding long-term relationships and the satisfaction gained therein. It’s hard to argue, though, that from a young man’s perspective marriage today is a bad deal for men.

    • November 27, 2016 at 1:45 pm
      Grunt GI

I agree. The intricate and intimate dance of a long-term happily married couple is something that sadly, too many young men and women today just don’t see.

My wife and I constantly amaze younger couples we know with our witty banter, occasional teen-age antics, and wisdom.

After all, when you have literally been through hell with a woman…28 years of marriage, 11 years of military life, 1 1/2 wars, 4 deployments, and burying a child together, there is nothing the two of you can’t do together as a team.

Sadly, far too many young people view a good relationship as too much work.

Well duh, it is, and the rewards are worth it.

      • November 27, 2016 at 3:48 pm

Aldo and Grunt, both exactly on.

As I said in another comment, new media is great and beats the fook out of the old. But choose and critique the material carefully; it can have its own agenda as I warned there, also it can be simply incomplete, lacking the experience that you reference and the depth of insight it provides. In the end, your beliefs and character are decided by your own God-given capacity for logic, reason, and self-determination.

To the specific ROK referenced in the ‘toon, women are not just a challenge to be gamed (unless mutual and consensual as played by Zed and Sam!), but your mate becomes truly a single entity with yourself and fellow traveler through whatever life brings. I cannot and do not want to ponder my life without mine.

    • November 27, 2016 at 6:31 pm

Yeah, and the guy who runs that could use some spelling lessons. “manor” instead of ‘manner’????? Semi-literate blowhard.

If a member of the DemSM media were to tell me that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, I’d want to check a reliable outside source to verify it.

I have this whole scenario mentally prepared in case I’m ever accosted by the media (hah! fat chance of that)…

“Sir, may we ask your opinion…”
(in best Val Kilmer/Doc Holliday/Tombstone voice)
“Look, dear, it’s a presstitute from the DemSM. Pay it no mind, it just seeks to justify its unworthy existence.”

It would be fun to have that recorded and uploaded to, say, you tube. How long do you think it would last before being deleted?

Deplorable B Woodman, You’ve just said the very same thing I’ve said to myself numerous times over the years.

I once heard a reporter on CNN say ” Pollution on Earth causes sunspots that contribute to global warming.” My reaction was; ” Did that dummy really say that??” I sat there and watched for a while. I wanted to see if they’d repeat that statement again. Unfortunately they did not. It did not matter. I stopped watching CNN shortly after that.

Jan doesn’t know what a “red pill” is? (Facepalm)
Damon, I put the blame for that on you. Take her to the movies. Buy the DVD/Blue Ray. Open a subscription to NetFlix. Something. Anything. Just take her out and educate her about the big, wide, outside blue collar world.

When a girl has made an incredibly good virtue beard choice, it became so much more, sometimes she never sees the rabbit hole, nor would have the desire to travel into it. She is quite happy as she is. We should have had, did have, a society that can tolerate such personal choices.

    “So where’d real news go?”
The DemSM media killed and buried it, right beside Jimmy Hoffa.

Fortunately, we have the internet and “alt right” to provide us with the news (not propaganda, not agenda).

    • November 27, 2016 at 11:06 am

Brother BW, since I assume that parenthetical was aimed at my comment above, let me reiterate; any and all sources of information and opinion are subject to their own partisanship. It is up to us (as I think Zed knows) to consume and digest it, absorbing the truth and passing the waste.

And there is plenty of waste, even at a place like ROK. Propaganda and agenda are dirty words and dirty deeds, ones we have learned to despise as alt leftists and their lamestream lackeys have plied us with their former to further their latter…but as we have seen with groups who have attempted to align with and hide behind DJT, the right is not immune; do not let their radical extremes replace the ones we are ousting. God gave us brains and logic and reason and self-determination. Let’s use it.

It is however, like a reviving breath of oxygen and transfusion of fresh red blood to have the existence and outlet of this new right to counter and correct the crushing and ultimately fatal omnipresence of the old left; I am not criticizing the re-emergence of Patriotism, paternalism, and the open dissemination of the creed of the Founders, and the rediscovery of the word and the will of God, quite the contrary; those are things that I added my thanks for at the end of my daughters Thanksgiving Blessing.

Ultimately each of us choose and form and embrace our own beliefs, learning and considering all that we see and are told, but making our own choices for our own selves. Always, ALWAYS, be suspicious and critical when one “movement” seeks to supplant the other in your heart and mind.

STOP THE PRESSES! NEWS FLASH! (facepalm!)

And thus it has been since the first amoebas (amoebae?) swam in earth’s oceans. Each gender needs the other for amusement, sustenance, sex, and continuation of the species (among other things).

Jan needs to remember that sex is a whole lot of fun. Damon on the other hand needs to make Jan giggle, then gasp in a good way during.

Speaking of new life and blood, Metal has had a major young transfusion, nay say I invasion, that is being embraced by many for the newness, joy and vitality contained in it. I just like the singing and their jumping around, ummm, dancing. Jpop grows up into Metal. They know water is wet without the fake news. My new favorite Metal:

See? Site ads work. Completely OT, save for the superb cover art by our host (one reason I bought the Ebook), but The Future Rhymes, by Clifford T. A. Heseltine, is a good read and well worth Kindle’s price. A bit of tighter editing and some serious proofreading would bring it into “great” territory, I’m willing to give the sequel a try when it comes out.
