And, almost always, they deliver what you pay for rather than what they decide you should want the way our bee-luvved gummint does.

It is intuitively obvious to many of us that the fix IS in. We will not have an open and fair election this year. The fix is in by both the DNC and the RNC to coronate Hillary. The press is completely behind this and will continue to bamboozle us into thing anyone else has a chance. Of course, there is always wishful BS into thinking the people will rise up. Fat chance. The American community is no more. We have a lot of noise about what we will do, but we won’t. We are too civilized. We will just grudgingly go along. Remember, it is not how you vote that counts, but who counts the votes.

. For me, Cruz is no longer an acceptable plan B, so if the convention should be brokered away from Trump with the FGOPe anointing yet another quisling puppet to ‘attract moderates,’ I believe there are those who *will* refuse to ‘go along.’ The popular unrest is evident in the Trump phenomenon & the insiders are desperate to block such a trend … whether by killing unarmed patriots or nullifying our votes. Think of this as a spreading pool of gasoline …. it is a near certainty these fools will spark it off if they push much further.
. Honestly, I truly hope they are not so foolish, so drunk on power as to precipitate such a catastrophe – because our external enemies would act immediately to weaken us at least, destroy us if they could. Sadly, it is a fantasy to hope the only result would be a precipitous drop in worthless parasites, presstitutes, clueless leftists of all sorts … & the politicians which enable those verminous groups, although *that* WOULD be the ideal, indeed. Still, the fact remains: the grievous harm the left has done & continues to do to this once great Republic could well provoke armed resistance. Once ignited, such a conflagration would either save America or destroy it. It is on the left’s hands what happens next. I wish I felt they could reason at level above that of a spoiled 2 year old.

The expanding pool of gasoline is a great analogy, it will either dissipate or, if sparked, explode. There ain’t gonna be any middle ground. The only thing different is that this explosion will not be omnidirectional.

“The fix” has been in for the last at least two “elections”. 1776v2.0 is right around the corner. These “leaders” are apparently too stupid to see the signs.

Panem et circuses. The American population is well fed and kept entertained with a unending stream of televised drivel. A people so provided for may piss and moan, but they won’t act. There’s no Revolution 2.0 on the horizon, nor will there be while the Dominos deliveries continue to arrive during the next episode of The Walking Dead.

      • April 2, 2016 at 10:58 am

Right on, brother! Both the librul and conservative modern Americans just want to be entertained and have pizza. But the one who would right the ship of state are all blow and no go. Or, as Zed would say “All hat and no cattle.”

I no longer eat domino’s. They don’t deliver here. And what I miss a lot about TV is The Walking dead. I will have to buy the season DVD when the next one is released.
I did vote for the bloodless Constitutional coup over the powers in the central control position right now. I believe that we must use every weapon available, and that vote is a weapon, though the RNC says our votes don’t matter.

Chris, on a very positive note I got a great swag pack from the DBD gang today, thank you very much. But as I said in the email, I get my thanks and my jollies (not that you leches…well okay maybe on T&A days), right here in the beautiful and insightful art and commentary that flows from your heart, mind, soul, and pen.

And speaking of that, where in the world is so much truth told with so few words and with one simple panel than with those two zeroes conspiring to deny Americans their voice and their choice?

I would not be surprised, if Preibus and O’Bozo aren’t meeting physically, they’re at least on the same page philosophically and “socialist”ly.

As for “the fix”, yeah, anyone with more than one brain cell to rub together already knows that. A brokered convention is almost guar-an-damn-teed. The perfumed princes of the puzzle palace will attempt to put in one of their own, instead of a conservative choice. But what to do? Have an out and out riot?

    JOIN THE WINNERS
    Steal the Vote
    Be a Democrat / Republican
    WIN with the
    GOP / DEM cabal

Be a selector, not a reject!

I made up many of similar shorter and longer sign ideas to get the point across. The ideas were mulling and none were published until now.

    DNC / RNC
    WE ARE ONE

I suggest the Libertarians place Trump at the top of their ballot when they meet this month in Orlando. No matter how many great concepts, ideas, and methodologies the Libertarians have, they will not win in this partcular time with any of the great people they put forth.

It would be possible to have chosen a better person as president than what the Dems and Reps will select, presupposing that they do defeat Donald with the shenanigans they are doing now and at the convention in Cleveland.
I give solutions to problems, and something that would possibly advance Libertarian ideas should they be the only party offering Donald Trump on the ballot in all 50 states, and he wins.
The democrat and Republican parties would have shown their hand for who they are, and a person would be in the power position who would have the loyalty of the people and of the military who could allow time for new parties and means to form away from the structured corruption that is those two parties and the lobbying and power brokering that is Washington DC and politics today.

    The Libertarians could save America.

But, of course, the Libertarians would have to get back their structural power systems they have.
Often small parties take away power from the new ideas growing through infiltration (Note the RINOS). Pat Buchanan, whether by intent or self belief drove a third party into the ground when he was nominated president by them.
I say again, the Libertarians could save America, and drive a stake into the hearts of the joint Republican / Democrat cabal party that is in power now.
I say that they should go for making history rather than another feel goo failed effort
Just my opinion, but it is so good that it scares me that I thought that this alignment of force is current in place for them to embrace greatness.

The man knows vastly more than he has said.

The post above is the second best way to do the legal constitutional coup over the totalitarians in power.

The best path is to outright win by winning delegates in the primary, keeping them then, then at winning on the first ballot at Cleveland, and, then in November, then a President Trump taking office in January.

I don’t think they have it in them.
They have their own established ways of limiting themselves, no matter how good the ideas they end up limiting are.

The fix has been in for some time, now.
The DNC publicity branch called the Media control ‘our’ debates.
Early primaries in a few states give that media the chance to declare conservative candidates out of the race.
Many of those primaries are open to anyone.
Voter ID is not a major issue for the RNC.
    Bleh.

The presidential election this year will feature the two most disliked, unwanted candidates in history facing each other….it will truly be a time a hold your nose and pick your poison, though no poison could be worse than hillery….If Cruz doesn’t upset the apple cart, Trump will pull it off, and if the RNC tries to steal it, we will have the creation of the first new political party in a while, thereby guaranteeing a hillery victory….just as slick willy has Ross Perot to thank, hillery will be forever beholden to the third party candidate….

If Hildabeast is elected, what makes you think the republic will hold together long enough for a Whig->Republican 2.0 to take place? Or that such a thing will even be possible? Since political speech is no longer protected, how could a new party even get started?

  • April 2, 2016 at 10:17 am

The powers that be, both corporate media marketing shills and government bureaucrats, have enough data and polls to figure out who has advantages and who should be president long before candidates run for office.
I don’t hate Trump. I think the guy would choose smart and knowledgeable people to help him run the executive branch and clean out the refuse of liberal hive minds entrenched in D.C.
But I don’t necessarily like the guy for president. Now I like Cruz. He’s been consistant and has stood up against the thugs in his own party. Perhaps the cigarette smokin’ tattooed Cruz should make another appeared center to reinforce his defiance against the establishment status quo.
If Trump gets the nomination I will vote for him.
If Cruz gets the nomination I will vote for him.
But if either one is hoisted out because of GOP convention rules convenience? I’ll help both of them start a Conservative Party based on the actual principles of Liberty and all that entails, Rule of Law, and minimal Government based on what the US Constitution limits it too.
I’d also press to remove the democrat/liberal parts of the amendments to the Constitution that caused us to stray from solid State representation and limits on how government can tax us. I also support several things like 12 year limits on elected officials and appointees. Exceptions being the Judicial Branch, Military, and our intelligence agencies because it takes time to build and maintain an effective force and intelligence network.

This is why I didn’t specialize in US government or politics. It’s just too damn depressing.

I used to respect many of these individuals (although I can’t think of any on the Dem side of the aisle, since there are no longer any National Security Democrats). But I am appalled by their arrogance and willingness to substitute their judgment for that of the voters. I’m not necessarily a Trump fan; I’m concerned that, like most skilled negotiators, and deal-makers, he’ll say anything to close the deal, and then change directions afterward. But if he’s the choice of the voters in the primaries, then he’s won his place on the ticket and the convention needs to nominate him. The party leadership needs to understand that to undermine and overturn the people’s choice is to undermine and destroy the party. Similarly, the Democrats can use their “Super delegates,” to implement the party’s rejection of their members’ desires.

Somewhere along the line, the parties’ leaders forgot that they exist to serve and support the voters, not the other way around.

I can’t remember ever being so pessimistic about the future of our country. Is it just because I’m getting older that I feel our best days are behind us? CAN our republic be saved? I’m not so sure.

We the People would be better off putting Ronald Regan on the ballot.
Though I know it would not be a good thing for him to be dug up and placed in a chair. A dead man is a better option than anyone on the ballot this cycle.

Or we could all vote: NONE OF THE ABOVE!

    • April 2, 2016 at 2:42 pm

We can’t vote NOTA because then the choice will be made for us by dims and gopes without regard for the people’s choice…oh wait, that’s what’s happening anyway, ain’t it?

But yeah, been saying for several cycles that RR either dead or lost in Alzheimer’s is better than anything else we’ve been offered…even Trump and Cruz together falls short. My wife has said Trump scares her and I have learned, sometimes the hard way, to heed her intuition. But Cruz propensity for oral diarrhea, failing the test of Constitutional support, and now selling out to the gopes to be used by as a spoiler, killed him for me.

So I’m down to having no real confidence and support for any person or plan going forward, other than to be vehemently contrarian to any effort to steal or broker the nomination to substitute establishment judgment for ours, handing us yet another milquetoast loser candidate and yet another socialist regime. I will vote for whoever resists and reviles that same old same old effort to keep that status quo and intentionally or unintentionally destroy the last vestiges of our former Republic.

And right now the only qualifier for that is for better or worse, Donald Trump.

The former governor of Missouri, Mel Carnahan, won his election for senate after he had died in a plane crash. The democrats asked voters to vote for him anyway. John Ashcroft the republican was caught by surprise. He’d immediately stopped campaigning on Mel’s death. After the election the DNC appointed his wife Jean to her dead husband’s senate slot. The MSM played her up as a kind and wonderful person. The people I know who worked at the state capitol described her as far different from the media portrayal.

Been pushing the idea of NOTA for years now. How it’d work would be if NOTA got the most votes, all the candidates for that office would be excluded from running for that office for 2 consecutive terms of said office.

Yeah, I know it doesn’t have a Chinaman’s chance but one can dream, can’t they?

      • April 2, 2016 at 5:20 pm
        Polly Cy

There actually was a case where “NOTA” won the election. When Gorbachev was trying to loosen up a bit on the CPSU’s monopoly on power, he agreed to allow “competitive” elections in the upcoming Leningrad mayoral contest. “Competitive” as in two party members running against each other.

Now realize how elections had worked up to this point. There was only one name on the ballot for each position. An unmarked ballot meant a vote for the listed candidate. There was also a “No” box. Any voter wishing to vote against the party candidate had to physically check the “No” box on the ballot, thereby self-identifying as a dissident.

But now, there would be two candidates for mayor, and that meant that every voter had to mark the ballot I some way: for Candidate A, Candidate B, or “No.”

Not being stupid, the voters seized the opportunity to vote against the party without running the risk of being shipped off to the Gulag. “No” won the election.

Poor Gorbachev. Up until that moment he really believed that communism could be “fixed” and that the democracy movement could be controlled.

Too bad so few of our leaders haven’t studied history or political science. They might have learned something.

Okay, boys and girls. You don’t like Cruz. You don’t like shrillary. You definitely don’t like Bernie the Bernitwit. That leaves Donald ‘the Hair’ Trump who frequently ends up with both feet in his big mouth. You don’t like him either.

    These are your options:

1 – Be spoiled brats and refuse to vote for anyone, while you complain you didn’t get YOUR choice.

2 – Wait and see who gets the largest number of delegates at the two conventions.

3 – Hold your nose and pick the candidate you despise the least.

Just remember, if you DON’T vote, if you pout like a spoiled brat, stay home and bitch and moan and beat your little fists and heels on the floor, then shrillary will win.

    Is that what you want?

I think Cruz is a lying sack of shit with a hidden agenda. I think he’s a closet bully.

I think Trump is a blowhard with a big mouth and an abrasive personality. I think he’s a bully, too, but not nearly as bad as Cruz.

So like I said, do you want shrillary and that snake she’s married to spending another four years in the White House with the prospect of an Iranian nuke hanging over your heads? Watching that crapweasel bodaprez on the news last night, he appeared to be — well, STUNNED and upset that the Iranians aren’t sticking to their part of the bargain.

My response to that was ‘No shit, Sherlock.’ We can have four more years of US-hating stupidity while the economy drags its feet and another generation of illiterate children rampage through the streets of our cities, or we can say ‘ENOUGH OF THAT SHIT!’

Personally, I don’t care which way you vote, but if you stay home and DON’T vote, you get what you deserve after November 11.

    You decide.
