Just because someone has made the decision to try and change their ways, kick old bad habits, and generally try to reform themselves doesn’t mean their old thought processes dry up and blow away overnight.
Internal dialogue where she’s arguing with herself over whether to do the right thing or the wrong thing isn’t indication that she’s there to cause problems, it’s an indication that she’s trying very hard to reform herself.
Anyone here try to quit smoking? I did. Just because I very much wanted to stop smoking didn’t mean I didn’t have cravings for them, it didn’t mean I never caught myself thinking about having one, and it didn’t mean I never slipped and had one. Nonetheless I quit a 27 year long 3 pack a day habit. It wasn’t easy, and the process wasn’t without slips and occasional backsliding.
Nicotine was a tough habit to give up, now imagine how hard it must be for her to give up an ideology that essentially said she could do whatever she wanted, act however she wanted, and not have to be responsible for anything…an ideology that promised her an endless lifetime of being able to live like a spoiled college student on spring break. I don’t see that as being a habit any easier to kick than smoking. So cut her some slack, she’s trying, and Rome wasn’t built in a day. Try cheering for her to succeed rather than cheering for her to fail.
After all, which would you rather have…..yet another prog to lampoon, or a freshly enlightened Deplorable who wants some payback for the years she wasted believing in a lie that was spoon fed to her by society, the media, and the education system?

They were under the delusion that after clicking enter 30 times, the system would let them in. Every week a report was handed over for all internet activity that was not work related. A few lost their jobs.
