    “We’re fighting the MAN!”
    “Um….you get his check yet?”
    “We need their money.”

The disconnect is strong with these ones.
May they fail to breed, and die out soon (from conservative beatdowns).

  • Deplorable B Woodman

    DON’T ANSWER THE PHONE!!
    “IT’S A TRAP!”

    • GWB

“I always think everything could be a trap. That is why I’m still alive.”

  • Deplorable B Woodman

“Why didn’t you answer my call?”
“Oh, you called? We must have out in the back 40 hunting feral hogs.”
    Or……
“Oh, you called? We must have been seeing to Tobasco to make sure he’s healthy.”

Yeah….just a subtle hint to let you know we’re making sure that we’re ready for any unwelcome company……..especially your friends.

    • Unca Walt

I am amazed that Chris was able to make her so ugly.

      Shades of Dorian Grey…

      • MasterDiver

After a few weeks without the spa, hairdresser, mani-pedis, or cosmetics, the REAL Skye starts to show through (shudder).

        Zar Belk!

  • armedandsafe

Yes, that is a “collection” call.

  • Kafiroon

Saw a few interview videos of the fascist Antifa’s. Stupid is a generous evaluation of their thinking. IF, if, they can put a few words into a semblance of a sentience. The problem seems, they are not sure what they want to say and start throwing out different groups of words.

    • Wicked Duke

“Internationalist/Communist Revolutionary word salad”, innit? 🙂

      • epador

No surprise its the same Ka Ka the Venceremos and their ilk were spewing in 1969.

        Ah the memories.

        She was kinda cute…

  • WayneM

It seems like a substantial number of the Antifa at Berkeley were profs and lecturers… which explains the lack of any semblance of sentience…

  • formwiz

    Was it ever thus.

Grandma and Grandpa at Woodstock did much the same.

    • JTC

“Grandma and Grandpa at Woodstock did much the same.”

      No. They did not.

      • formwiz

        Sure they did.

When the bloom wore off the hippie life, they couldn’t get back to that shameful capitalist existence in Daddy’s stock brokerage or Mommy’s partnership in the law firm fast enough.

Not to mention expecting Mommy and Daddy to go their bail when they got busted at the sit-in, get them a deferment when they were classified 1-A, hire a slick lawyer when their revolutionary ardor got them brought up on felony charges, or send them bus fare when they couldn’t panhandle enough to eat.

        • JTC

I was 15 in ’69. A little young for Woodstock, but it wouldn’t have mattered. Growing up in rural Fla farm country I was a redneck boy with nothing but contempt for the lazy, dirty, stoned make-love-not-war cluelessness of that era’s hippies.

But those lumps (who mostly did grow up and go back to real life later) were not the organized, violent, paid professional protestors that we’re seeing now or for that matter the commie/muzzie sympathizing BP’s, SLA, and campus instigators that we saw then.

          • pyrodice

The paid protestors now aren’t against government, they want it wielded like a hammer.

          • Wood

@pyrodice- only as long as their party does the hammering. They don’t like it much when the law is applied as intended.

    • Norm

Not my grandma and grandpa. In fact, my father and mother met in Europe. They were both in the Army and there was a bit of a war going on. 1943 or so.

      • formwiz

        We’re talkin’ commie-lovin’ hippies.

        • Oh, so YOU were there, huh, formwiz?

  • grayjohn

Don’t answer! The bitch is nothing but trouble, has no redeeming qualities, and contributes nothing to anyone no matter where she is. Let her rot, maybe she’ll get wasted robbing a bank. Close the door on this one and never open it again.

  • GruntGI

Hmmm. I predict an interesting homecoming. After all, Skye is family. Sam will always take her back.
    Makes for more interesting storylines.
And, of course, it’s almost fund raiser time. Always interesting plot twists.

    • TJ

By “interesting plot twists,” do you mean “adding Skye fanservice to drum up subscription renewals?”

PS — Chris, it isn’t necessary. Sam, Naomi, and Jan have that area adequately …ahem.. un-covered.

      • MudMarine

        2nd act twist?

    • Grunt GI

Well, it appears Skye is starting to understand that old saying from Maggie Thatcher– “The trouble with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money.”

I predict an “interesting” homecoming for Skye.

      Maybe even an intervention/rescue mission.

C’mon, you know you wanna see Sam and Naomi whup up on some of those ‘female’ degenerates…kinda like they did with those Muzzies in the local cafe.

Only more fun cuz it would be a short, but awesome catfight.

  • eon

Lenin said that capitalists would sell communists the rope the latter would use to hang the former.

We now know that the only thing which kept the USSR from collapsing for seventy-four years was… foreign aid from capitalist countries.

Modern-day anarchists need capitalism to supply the money they can’t generate themselves.

The leftists never see the flaws in their own dogma.

    clear ether

    eon

    • Yeah. And Venezuela is oozing its way down the tubes into a sewer that it created for itself. Anyone wonder if Maduro will build a wall to keep people from leaving?

    • TJ

And apparently these days, the third-generation know-nothings will buy burquas to help fund the Islamonazis who they hope will defeat the Christians and Capitalists, in total ignorance that “the enemy of my enemy is my enemy’s enemy, no more, no less,” and that this marriage of convenience will end up like, well, Europe.

And I doubt Maduro will build a wall. Both because it’s too expensive, and because he’s giving the guns he’s confiscated from the law abiding citizens to the leftist militias that support him. I assume their shirt uniforms are brown. At least metaphorically.

      • JSStryker

A fellow Schlock Mercenary fan. I use Maxim 29 “The enemy of my enemy is my enemy’s enemy, no more, no less” all the time in my comments on political sites.

      • GWB

Based on the pictures I’ve seen of his “militias”, yes their uniform shirts are brown.

    • Khaki is a popular color in that mindset, yes. Now, they are killing flamingos down there because they have nothing to eat.
Marie Antoinette: Why are the peasants rioting?

Madame de Tourzel: They have no bread to eat.
(There’s a drought on, you numbskull, and les fermiers don’t have much grain to harvest this year, and they were rioting for cheaper bread.)

M.A.: Then give them cake to eat.

Je sais, oui – she never said that, but it’s the thought that counts.

      • NotYetInACamp

Perhaps Marie did. There were little cakes that those like Marie always had available to eat at meals. If the bread ran out, they could always eat those cakes.

It is a slightly different meaning, but, grounded in marie’s total lack of understanding of life beyond the life they lived maintained by power in which all things existed to pander to and support the whims of the elite.
Sort of like in the Swamp of D.C.
In D.C everyone and backed by K Street uses the people to pander to and support the desires of those that can write the laws forever in their favor.
Profit and expense has no meaning to the supplicants desiring more. Profit, loss, expense, costs to people, all have no meaning. There is always a new budget coming along (or continuing resolution since Obama got his pork into the budget). New taxes will be stolen unconstitutionally from the peasants (what Middle Class so many now ask). All the desires beyond the taxes are financed by interest paying Federal Reserve System Notes that obligate the people so long as they tolerate it. US Notes could be used, but both Lincoln and Kennedy tragically passed away after they started printing those.
A Utopia, or a normal society, will never be rebuilt by those “revolutionaries” if they succeed in their bringing down society and the man. This country may no longer have enough Americans and ‘Germans’ in it to rebuild. Heck. Germany might not have enough Germans in it to rebuild after another catastrophe as devastating as WW2.

Old family friends supported their children. Rather, the mother did. They were in the hippie, Jesus Freak, revolution, and other lifestyles. The dad made money with creative products he made and then his partner sold the products to the building industry.

        • MudMarine

Just curious, what did Marie & Louis eat in the Bastille?

Did they grasp reality before the blade dropped & if so did they just piss themselves?

Odd thoughts & questions in the dark 😉

        • Peet

Sorry, Camp, but you’ll want to look up the idiomatic French usage of “cake”. It was the crud spilled and built up in the nooks and crannies if the stone ovens then in use. Scrape it out and eat it or starve — later comes shoe-leather soup (if you’re lucky enuff to own leather shoes).

      • Old Codger

The way I heard it, she was saying “So open up the special granaries (formerly available only to the aristocracy) and give them the (much finer) pastry flour to make their bread.”

Of course I also heard that this was a short time after the end of the medieval warm period (you know, when it was so warm that Charlemagne would have considered 97 a cold year and the Finns were growing temperate climate crops) and the stupid frog farmers refused to switch to crops more suited to the cooler conditions. {with a French accent} “It was what my Father and Grandfather grew, why should I change?”

  • KenH

    Let
    her
    FUCKING
    ROT

    Boo hoo
“I miss my kids” Well, MAYBE, if you weren’t a useless SKANK, and capable of actually holding a real job like an ADULT instead of sucking off mommy’s money, which she only has from MARRYING money. Or your sister, who you have sponged off your entire miserable life. Or try Zed again, who has literally saved your worthless ass for no thanks at all. Indeed, quite the opposite.
No no. This bitch can ROT

    • Kafiroon

Just curious since you are always so vehement.
Did you marry one of those?

  • Pete231

And, Jefferson said that democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not. Which goes to prove that welfare was never intended to be a career opportunity.

    • It’s cynical, I now, but I think those unwilling to work and be productive really need their own planet. SOON!

      • MudMarine

I believe the gateway to that planet is on the tip end of a 9MM

      • Doug

No, you have it backwards! It’s the productive ones who need a few planet, just like the original American settlers. We can rebuild everything in one generation tops, leave all the loads behind, start a new free market society, and never go back. Since the social justice geniuses couldn’t build a spaceship to save their lives, we’ll be safe as long as we make a hard and fast rule to deport back to old Earth anyone who shows redistributive tendencies.

        • John

I think you just described Heinlein’s Diaspora.
The ability to just leave the parasites behind would be a godsend.

        • Yes, but if you leave them behind and go away, they’ll only follow you and trash your house again. The object is to put the parasites some place where they have to struggle to survive, and can’t escape. That should shut them up in a hurry.

It’s what Skye needs, big time, especially since she’s pouting and looking for another handout now.

    • Old Codger

Don’t know if you folks are aware of it, but speaking through St Paul the Creator put the question of welfare this way “If a man (and I am assured that it would do no violence to the text to replace “a man” with “an adult”) will not work; don’t feed him.”

Heck, the Soviet constitution even modified the basic Marxist principle to read, “From each according to his ability to each according to his work.” I suspect there weren’t very many welfare queens in the Soviet Union.

  • epilitimus

The distribution function for hair on Skye’s head is now equal to that for the gray matter inside it.

    • Kafiroon

      Good One!

  • A rose is a rose, blah blah, blah. Commun/social/fascism only lasts until all who produce quit working. When there is no work, there is no money, there are no supplies. Damn, Chris, you got these idiots nailed.

    • MudMarine

They’ll revert to the most feral & eat each other. Since to try for us is to meet in Samara.

      • Doug

They would still die from food poisoning since they would have forgotten how to cook.

      • JTC

“They’ll revert to the most feral & eat each other.”

No, vegans only eat vegetables…oh…oh okay.

Could be a key there, getting some protein back in those sheeple brain cells.

  • Panels 4 & 5 exemplify the stupidity.

  • azscram

I feel sorry for Skye, as a matter of personal compassion but not for her politics. She’s made some very stupid life choices, and now she’s looking much worse for wear. The prodigal son was accepted in his father’s house once he came to his senses. Perhaps one day, Skye will come to hers.

    • MudMarine

LOL, & possibly pigs will fly 😉

Liberalism is a mental disorder & they can’t be cured until they reach out. Much like addicts I think. Gotta bounce off the bottom to begin the climb to normalcy. Skye’s getting closer & closer to the bounce, but she’s not there yet. Watching her hit will be a PPV 😉

  • Bill G

We are desperately in need of a change; otherwise today’s student rioters are tomorrow’s professors and teachers.

    • Doug

LOL that’s already been going on for years now.

    • Doug

Make that centuries, since it started in the late nineteenth.

  • CaptDMO

    Make the call….
Hey, isn’t that the way that leaders of communes based on “unusual spirituality”
    worked?
“The Young” are so easily duped.
    SEE: School

  • NotYetInACamp

Look at the faces and similar demeanor on those sisters.
    They’ve been there before.

    • JTC

Wow, but for the color of hair and lips…and for the same reason. Both are at that moment pondering what really matters; family.

I for one still think there is hope for Skye, a hope that Sam also clings to. She is not like the paid protest thugs, she is a source of funding not a consumer of it, an idealistic, clueless, useful idiot and follower, much like the ’60s hippies referenced above. Maybe she too will grow up and go home to the reality and love that awaits her.

And that is actually key to the hopes that we deplorables have for the future of our Republic and for our families; that enough of those who have been duped and used will escape the black hole and thereby dry up the source of sustenance of it.

Hope springs eternal…if not now, when? We are on the cusp of reclaiming what is ours, we only have to convince enough sheeple to retain the majority and destroy the cancer of socialism/leftism before it devours us and itself. Maybe it will start with Skye.

      • MasterDiver

Family matters, but in this case we have a gangrenous appendage that must be amputated for the good of the whole (“For the Good of the Body, you must die”). Mom and the Don, or Tia Sam and Tio Zed can raise the kids, but Skye will surely be the rotten apple that can ruin the barrell. Cut her off, physically, spiritually, and especially FINANCIALLY!
If, like the Prodigal, she has her moment of enlightenment, let her come home, either the DD or Casa Portego. Then let her learn the TRUE meaning of “Those who WILL NOT work, WILL NOT eat!” Let her do her Boot Camp penance until the lesson finally sinks in: You EARN your keep!

        Zar Belk!

        • NotYetInACamp

          – I miss my little boy and girl –

Reality and humanity is trying to surface. The possibility of Skye’s redemption. (The other parasites attempt to keep feeding off of Skye)

        • JTC

MD, yes like all epiphany and rehabilitation it has to come from within. But I don’t see her being able to spoil the others; their force is strong and any symbiosis would flow positive to negative.

She has to want it, and we can by example make her and her malleable ilk want what is “right” rather than taking what is “left”. As I said above I think winning them over is our only chance for ourselves going forward.

And in the absence of anything that is actually harmful to her own, I don’t think Sam (or Mom) will forsake her even when she seems to have forsaken herself. I can see your point. But Skye is not YOUR sister or daughter, she is their flesh and blood.

And to the Major downthread, no there is not some arbitrary chronological cutoff for redemption of loved ones…ask me how I know. (But do NOT ask KenH; damn dude)

Plus, that bitch is undeniably hot; I know she’s f’d up but she even got my attention as I sat at the DDQ bar on Sept. 11 ’16 in the archives…yes, I’m an Ass Man. 😉

          • NotYetInACamp

That’s JTC. ID’ed. And doing what comes naturally. Nice ‘View.’

  • Maj Arkay

So Sam is over 40. How old is Skye? I ask because if Skye is not too much younger than Sam, the chances of her growing out of being a clueless idiot are slim and none.

Personally, I dislike seeing her turn up again. She gets in the way of some seriously good Sam/Jan/Naomi snark.

And she causes me to get more than a little nauseated…

    • Maj Arkay

Plus, I’d really rather see Zed put on the Leonidas costume again….

  • JTC

Forwarded to me, don’t know original source, but a pretty good response to any Sanctuary City Virtue Signallers you may know:

Story of two Republic of Kali families: “Joe Legal” and “Jose Illegal”.  Both families have two parents, two children and live in California

Joe Legal works in construction, has a Social Security Number and makes $25.00 per hour with taxes deducted.

Jose Illegal also works in construction, has NO Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash “under the table”.

    Ready?  Now pay attention….

Joe Legal:  $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or $52,000.00 per year.  Now take 30% away for state and federal tax; Joe Legal now has $31,231.00.

Jose Illegal:  $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or $31,200.0 0 per year. Jose Illegal pays no taxes Jose Illegal now has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year.  Joe Legal now has $24,031.00.

Jose Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and local clinics and emergency hospitals at a cost of $0.00 per year… Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or welfare.
Joe Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per year.  Joe Legal now has $18,031.00.

Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps, WIC and welfare.Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per year.  Joe Legal now has $9,631 00.

Jose Illegal receives a $500.00 per month Federal Rent Subsidy.  Jose Illegal pays out that $500.00 per month, or $6,000.00 per year.Jose Illegal still has
    $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays $200.00 per month, or $2,400.00 for car insurance. Some of that is uninsured motorist insurance. Joe Legal now has $7,231.00.

Jose Illegal says, “We don’t need no stinkin’ insurance!” and still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal has to make his $7,231.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, etc..

Jose Illegal has to make his $31,200.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline and what he sends out of the country every month..

Joe Legal now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part time job after work.

Jose Illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family.

Joe Legal’s and Jose Illegal’s children both attend the same elementary school.
Joe Legal pays for his children’s lunches, while Jose Illegal’s children get a government sponsored lunch.
Jose Illegal’s children have an after school ESL program. Joe Legal’s children go home.

Now, when they reach college age, Joe Legal’s kids may not get into a State School and may not qualify for scholarships, grants or other tuition help, even though Joe has been paying for State Schools through his taxes, while Jose Illegal’s kids “go to the head of the class” because they are a minority.

Joe Legal and Jose Illegal both enjoy the same police and fire services, but Joe paid for them and Jose did not pay.

Do you get it, now? If you vote for, or support, any politician that supports illegal aliens YOU are part of the problem!

    $anction of the Victim:

“Money is a great power—because, in a free or even a semi-free society, it is a frozen form of productive energy. And, therefore, the spending of money is a grave responsibility. Contrary to the altruists and the advocates of the so-called “academic freedom,” it is a moral crime to give money to support ideas with which you disagree; it means: ideas which you consider wrong, false, evil. It is a moral crime to give money to support your own destroyers. Yet that is what businessmen are doing with such reckless irresponsibility” (Ayn Rand; “The Sanction of the Victims,” _The Voice of Reason_, 153).

“Then I saw what was wrong with the world, I saw what destroyed men and nations, and where the battle for life had to be fought. I saw that the enemy was an inverted morality—and that my sanction was its only power. I saw that evil was impotent—that evil was the irrational, the blind, the anti-real—and that the only weapon of its triumph was the willingness of the good to serve it. Just as the parasites around me were proclaiming their helpless dependence on my mind and were expecting me voluntarily to accept a slavery they had no power to enforce, just as they were counting on my self-immolation to provide them with the means of their plan—so throughout the world and throughout men’s history, in every version and form, from the extortions of loafing relatives to the atrocities of collectivized countries, it is the good, the able, the men of reason, who act as their own destroyers, who transfuse to evil the blood of their virtue and let evil transmit to them the poison of destruction, thus gaining for evil the power of survival, and for their own values—the impotence of death. I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win—and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No’” (Ayn Rand; “Galt’s Speech”; _For the New Intellectual_, 165).

    • Old Codger

IIRC, Galt’s speech is part of “Atlas Shrugged”. They made a string of 3 videos from Atlas Shrugged a couple of years back. Over all pretty darned good. Part of what made the vids less enjoyable is the fact that they changed the cast for every installment – at least for the main characters. They also used some actors in important parts who – I KNOW – could not have accepted anything Ayn Rand stood for. It was the sight of these dyed-in-the-wool lib/progs delivering dialog they utterly disagreed with. Imagine Tom Hanks delivering Galt’s speech. Or DeCaprio.

  • Henry

Don Portago is funding Antifa? The politics of this family really confuse me.

    • Old Codger

I doubt that the Don is aware of exactly what organization his younger step-daughter is trying to get money for.
