        I find it interesting that those who sell weapons illegally on the black market are the only sellers who abide by the Constitution.

    I think “wanting us dead” is a bit of an overstatement. I’d say the left is “heedless” of American deaths on the way to their imagined “perfect world”.

    Their means conduce their ends. They’re always right. Any problems or injuries/deaths that result must therefore be someone else’s fault. The people who can’t comprehend the grandness and beauty of the Progressive vision are messing things up for everyone and getting people killed.

      I’m not sure “wanting us dead” really is an overstatement. I can’t recall the exact wording, but IIRC Alinsky had something like needing to “eliminate” certain groups in order to bring on the prog utopia. Can anyone help me with the details?

        Don’t recall the exact context, but (IIRC) the number that Alinsky and Bill Ayres figured that they’d be unable to “reform” and, therefore, would have to “eliminate” was upwards of 25 million here in the USA. That’s a helluvalotta mass graves, kiddies! Keep stocking up on ammo.

        Look up most of the deep-ecology movement. They believe that to “save Holy Mother Gaia” they must not only “de-develop” the Earth to a pre-Bronze Age, agrarian socialist/feudalist culture (castles for them, mud huts for the peasants who spread night soil in the rice paddies by hand), but also they have to reduce the human population of the planet to the ‘carrying capacity” of “Gaia”, which they calculate at between 50 million and 500 million humans. That is, themselves plus abut ten slave and two strongarm types to control same each. John Holdren, Paul Ehrlich, and others tend to wax psychotic on this subject.

        Who publicly called for a “weaponized” Ebola virus to wipe out 90% of the human race, then tried to “walk it back” by claiming “I just want my grandchildren to inherit a better Earth”.

        (BTW, the Wikipedia entry on “Dr. Doom” tries to claim he was “misinterpreted”, and that those who reported what he said- and the applause he got from the undergrad audience- were lying. Sorry, it was “caught on tape”, as they say.)

        Also, Bill Ayers stated that as part of the “Revolution”, it would be necessary to “dispose of” about 25 to 50 million Americans who would not be “re-educable”. His solution? Camps, of course.

        There are many other examples. A google search of the subject on deep-ecology, anarchist, and socialist websites, or just talking to any of the above when they think you’re “one of the faithful”, will get the data easily enough. As with all fanatic movements, the “faithful” say things they would rather the “non-believers” wouldn’t hear when they are sure that only “true believers” are present.

        No wonder they invoke Godwin’s law in every discussion.

    It is quite alright, Anatoly, to use a set of prompter notes like a pocket copy of both the Declaration (you are atempting to quote) and the Constitution which is the People’s rule book that government is supposed to adhere to but obviously hasn’t in well over 100 years.
    It is noteworthy, is it not, that so many of the most grevious infractions against the Constitution happened in or after 1913. Gee thanks FDR.

        Do we have that in his biography? I thought he was in his early-mid 20s, which would have put him around 9 years old or less in 1990. His “formative years” would have been during privation of the late 80s leading into the “collapse” of 1989-91.

    With the intent now seeming to be to disarm the public rather than protect them, to import jizzlamic animals rather than exterminating them in situ, the incredible reality disconnect demonstrated by the feckless fraud and its brain-dead enablers fast approaches an imperative for revisiting the events of the late 1700s. In this vein, I must observe that a dedicated effort to seize firearms could render ammunition useless. Rather than discarding it, I would urge those required to surrender firearms first to conserve natural resources / minimize our carbon footprint and carefully transfer the ammunition to the proper parties before delivering the firearms to Big Brother & the Gestapo. Everyone can contribute to the vital effort to end climate change!

    Where to begin….this is so on the mark…the situation in this country has deteriorated in the last 7 years to the point of absurd….race relations were moving along rather smoothly until this administration intentionally stirred the pot….obamatola refusing to bomb the oil fields held by ISIS until France led the way…France!….why was he not impeached as the traitor he is?….he is a Jihadist enabler to all but the blind who will not see it….and now he wants to import it into the country unabated….congress, I’m sure, must have at least discussed impeachment, but feared the race war that would’ve surely occurred….you cannot govern out of fear….do the right thing, damn it….do the right thing….and let the chips fall where they may….”Even Stalin did not import killers”….amen…

      Well, actually he sort of did. He used Mongolian troops in Ukraine, Kazakh troops in Belarus, Great Russian troops in Siberia, etc.

      In short, he played the different ethnicities within the USSR off against each other. Much as Tito would later do in what used to be Yugoslavia.

      I suspect that our present crop of Che’!-wannabees would love to do the same, but can’t quite figure out how.

    As likely one of the few people who can say that they bested, nay devastated, Bill Ayers arguments in a publicly called meeting (in the Engineering Building) in his attempt to recruit people to join him in using violence to change America, I will say that I must not use my personal reaction to him on my one meeting with him to explain him. The word weasel was how feelings were encapsulated in a word.
    But a weasel is dangerous, as are the vast infestation of people who have adopted that cause including people like Hillary and Obama and Mellisa Harris-Perry, Bernie the Sandman, Ayers’ father who helped a student from Indonesia, and whole university structures. (Yesterday I watched from a data stick Ben Stein’s documentary movie Expelled concerning cleansing of universities of anyone who supported “Intelligent Design” or just did not oppose it.)
    Bill Ayers and all following their Cause or Causes are very dangerous people. Bill Ayers back then was an intelligent articulate and driven person desiring to throw himself into the fight. Muslims react similarly. I know that he had listened to my devastation of his recruitment effort as I heard many of the same words and ideas from his mouth when he was describing what he was doing when he was interviewed concerning that entire staged OCCUPY movement. Shades of Mao. Now we have the crybabies furthering that Mao denouncing tactic.
    These people are serious. The world is different due to the small changes Obama has been able to use to set fires, add fuel to fires, and ignore fires across the world using the power of the white house. His fostering and adding to the asymmetric war and invasion of the United States is treasonous. Obama sees it as furthering the many causes.
    It no longer is talk that we must tolerate as we were told it made us strong to have all these ideas given stage as alternatives. This cause and end America talk I have heard from the communists I met when I was a small child on to what they all have done since. As the Oxford Anglophile and Progressivephile Melissa Harris-Perry has said on MSNBC, she is adding to a multi-generational movement. Lean Forward was their motto.
    This is war. Obama is a general of those who wish to transform America. By transform both he and others mean to destroy America. Transformation, by definition, is destruction. It matters not what they see for afterward, which is not good, but the act in and of itself is to destroy what is there and to cast off all of those ideas and structures that they consider outdated. The constitution is one document that many say is outdated and Obama has said that it is constraining and is a negative document, not a positive document as he has said the Soviet constitution was. Obama believes in the government having rights of the government to do things as the Soviet Constitution contained. This is contrary to the US limitation of government with the rights all vested in the people.
    The Republican party better be concerned about vote fraud. I wonder if that consent decree to NOT look at vote fraud By Democrats because it is racist to do so is still in effect. If so we need some more of those (black mostly?) veterans who during an attempt to fix an election in Athens (?) Georgia after WW2 used weapons from the National Guard Armory to arm themselves and surrounded the sheriff’s office where all of the ballot boxes had been taken to be “specially“ counted to make sure their current bosses won the election. The boxes were retrieved and the ballots counted publicly. The bosses lost.
    There is great challenge now. Musch opportunity.

    What I am not, and will never be, is a slave. Not while I draw breath and have Ammo. Bill Whittle made a comment (Stratosphere Lounge, #105, IIRC) how one advantage is they always “jump the gun,” instead of waiting to where they have a near-complete advantage ina coming conflict, they go early, and unwittingly gin up the resistance that defeats them. Hitler, as example, went too soon. Another ten years, and England would have rolled over and given up. He was right on the French, wrong on the English. Of course, there aren’t any guarantees, and we need to build up our side as well to have a chance to prevail.

That great orator, Patrick Henry said it better than you or I or even Chris could (Although, in his own way, our Mr. Muir is very eloquent, even elegant). On 23 March, 1775 (less than a month before Lexington, Concord and the “shot heard round the world) Henry spoke these words, Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!

        A great-granfather of mine was grabbed off the road as a child in his native land, put in chains and stuck on a boat. He was denied his language, his faith and his freedom. Contrary to the perception that only certain skin colors are enslaved, he was Irish. To his dying day, he was thankful to have escaped enslavement when he jumped ship; and was a staunch supporter of liberty and freedom as a naturalized American citizen.

        Lincoln freed the slaves and the Left wants everyone (but their anointed) to be enslaved for the “GREATER GOOD “.

        Ma’am, Lincoln had no authority to free anyone. There was no force of law behind his proclamation. He only did it to PO the CSA. PLUS his proclamation only applied to the slaves held in CSA member states. There was at least one slave state which fought for the union and his proclamation did nothing to alter the status in that state whatsoever.

        Bottom line: That treasonous, oath breaking bastard, Lincoln, FREED NO ONE! His one and only goal was to restore the union which he valued ABOVE the Constitution.

    Arrogance is a terrible thing to carry around in your pocket. Arrogance will lead you to make mistakes and miss your errors. I can’t think of a better way to damage and maybe even decimate the decomposing libretard population than to give them shrillary for 3 years. We run out of money, our country is attacked from both outside and inside again and again, and who will defend US(A)?
