Before anyone says they built cars tougher back then and that they withstood more damage than a modern car could take, think about this – a modern car sacrifices itself to protect its occupants. For an older car, all you have to do is straighten some sheet metal and hose the remains and blood off the dash and it is ready to roll again for its new owners.
Another casualty of illegal immigration; hopefully only the car.

I don’t think it will take that. 1) Let law enforcement inquire about immigration. 2) Prosecute business owners who use illegal labor. 3) Put some extra hurdles/fees/bureaucratic-paperwork on sending money back home to Mexico and Central America. 4) Get some footage on the evening news of armed drones taking off to help watch the border (they don’t have to shoot anything, ever – just put it in people’s minds that Trump can’t be shamed and just might be crazy enough).

H_B, If memory serves me, when we sent less than 100 National Guardsmen to the border to help install the surveillance gear there was a dramatic drop in invasions. It seems they thought that the Guard was regular Army and that they would react to aliens the way the Mexican Army did at THEIR southern border, which is pretty violent. Maybe some more of that would also be part of our toolkit. Also no more of this running them through the court system – just ship them back.
H_B
Oct 03 2015 at 8:57 pm
That would help too, though would be more expensive.

One of the very worst things about these alien parasites is that they know their own countries are crap. That’s what motivates them to leave it and come here. But then they have such pride for said country that it nearly acts as their total identity, and then they support Democrat scum who would help turn THIS country into the one they just left because it was so bad.

That would help too, though would be more expensive.
I forgot to add 5) hold municipal “sanctuary city” governments accountable for their actions. Seriously, we don’t have to “round up and ship out” millions of illegals. They will self-deport as soon as the red welcome mat is no longer there.

Chris, you miserable &&&%%^@!!! piece of )()()(%%!!!!&&&%%$. Damn you!!
I guess I’ve had my exercise for the day what with the elevated breathing and heart rate. You’d BETTER make this right in tomorrow’s strip.
“We Just Rollover”
I’m going to re-write that to “We Just Roll Over”
And add, but we don’t play “dying cockroach” just yet. No. We get back on our feet and continue the fight.
We’ve used the soap box (and Chris, you’re doing a wonderful job, keep it up).
We’ve used the jury box, with no discernible effect on the justice system at the moment.
W’ve used the ballot box, and look what it’s gotten us. A bunch of GOPe/RINOs. We may not have time enough to elect new conservative leadership before the fit hits the shan.
All that’s left is the cartridge box. Are you ready? Are you prepared? Physically and mentally? For you, your family, and the Constitution?

Well THIS certainly took an unexpected turn…(as ever, Zed’s friend/cousin/long lost brother..step or otherwise… “T.J. Strong” is ready willing and available to step in and host the Longshot Bar, drop a dime and I’ll be flyin’. “Have Grin will Travel”)

Getting a feeling for how much your readers are tied up in the DBD family, Chris?

One reason this strip scares me is that I had a similar accident a few years back, rolled a ’98 (or was it 96?) Toyota Tacoma p/up, little thing. Just one roll, and landed back on the wheels. Not going into details, other than no one hurt, but NEVER want to do that again. Never.

Let me join the chorus praising the aptness of this metaphor.
It would be more accurate if it showed the spike strip placed in the road by some cynical exploiter type.

There is no way the USA can go on accepting the invasion of over 2 million legal and illegal immigrants a year with out ending the Era of individual freedom and wealth.
4 % of the World can’t take the refuse of the other 96% without ending as a failed Nation State. Civilized States NEED borders to survive invasions by Barbarians

What’s really disturbing, to me at least, is that no one, I mean NO ONE ever calls out the governments of Mexico/Guatemala/Venezuela/etc for being so damned incompetent and/or repressive that their own citizens will risk death in the desert to escape.
No one – and certainly not the MSM.

One of the very worst things about these alien parasites is that they know their own countries are crap. That’s what motivates them to leave it and come here. But then they have such pride for said country that it nearly acts as their total identity, and then they support Democrat scum who would help turn THIS country into the one they just left because it was so bad.
There’s something to be said for genetics and associated intelligence. And it’s not a good link for those of darker hue.

I call moby troll on this filth. Odds are some script kiddie from DU or Koss or LGF puts this out to discredit us.

Mercedes passed me on the autoroute to Paris at 120 plus. Later saw it upside down in a field. Driver wentry thru the windshield and was beheaded. Passenger hit the windshield sideways and lost most of her brains. Wear seatbelts.

Saw this happen down in Arizona a LOT. There have even been incidents where kids were put in the road to stop traffic as part of attempted carjackings.
