Come Again?
Why Ask Y?

Renewal of the nations structural support.
Does that mean Levitra, Cialis and Viagra are going to be added to the water supply?

    • June 17, 2015 at 11:55 pm

Sexist! I demand gov-supplied LadyVi* for all women (while there are still some who self-identify as such).

*Warning: spread-eagles lasting more than four hours should be reported to your mate’s cardiologist as this could result in his spontaneous death from over exertion, aka dying in the saddle.

As in the old gag about a chap who was complaining about his nagging shrew of a wife to a friend, saying he’d like to just get rid of her. So the friend looks sideways at him, and says to see his doctor about advice.
The doctor, a sleazy little fellow, for a high fee tells the man to make love to his wife four times a day; after a month of that treatment she’ll be done for says he.
Three weeks later the friend meets the couple out on the town. She is glowing with health; he’s a frail shadow of his old self. The friend gets him aside and in a whisper asks how it’s going. And the man replies “Great. She doesn’t suspect she just has a week left to live!”

I guess I don’t mind that the “gays” have come out of the closet (although I don’t see much true happiness in them. seems forced, not natural, to me). Had to happen eventually in any long term society.
But now they want to force the issue SO much, as if they want to push heteros into the very closet they just vacated.

So much for tolerance and accepance of everyone and every lifestyle.

As has been said of openly carried firearms, I don’t care if someone is openly gay, but don’t be openly gay AT me…

How is an openly carried firearm any different than the ring of keys, the cellphone, or the flashlight that I also carry on my belt? It’s just another tool… It only catches your attention because you’re not used to seeing it.

The LGBT bunch have been harping about “…what we do in our bedrooms is nobody’s business…” Absolutely correct, but the minute you bring it out on the street, for a parade or an “event,” then it’s the business of everyone you force it on. I don’t display my heterosexual proclivities in front of everybody, (other than a quick “peck” on the lips with my wife) please don’t show me yours!

Ah, yes, the left has to have the last word. And the last word is always to deny any path but theirs is unacceptable.

    All distraction.
Boehners dias, los greengos. Boner’s day in the house. American people get greased up. Sovereignty may be lost today if Obama gets his Boner’s way. TPA – A treaty that is not called a treaty. A boat planned in da house today. TPP and more. Greased lightning. Groom them if you don’t get them right away.

    “Famous last words”

Would that the idiomatic meaning would apply.

      You mean, “Famous last” (silence. . . . ).

    “You Republicans won’t support infrastructure.”
And such a FINE infrastructure Jan has, too.
And it appears that Damon IS doing a fine job of supporting it, against all Jan’s protestations.

If only. When money like the gas tax, originally meant to purchase highway improvements and maintenance instead gets squandered on bike trails and overpriced, money-pit “mass transit” instead, yeah, you bet I won’t support more money for vaguely described “transportation”

  • June 18, 2015 at 10:40 am

Several years ago Virginia proposed raising the sales tax a half percent in Northern Virginia and Hampton Roads to pay for more roads. Then someone looked at the actual bill, which sent the money to the general treasury instead of to the transportation funds. The proposal died a firm death. (From what I can tell, the politicians took the lesson that the public would not support new transportation taxes, rather than the populace would not accept games.)

If you’re going to talk about money disappearing into the bottomless pit called the “General Fund,” let’s start with the Socialist[sic] Security and Medicare money!

The Treasury Department announced Wednesday it will replace the main image of its own founder, Alexander Hamilton, on the $10 bill, with a woman as yet to be determined. Mr. Hamilton will remain on the bill in a diminished way.

    The male-diminishment beat goes on … 🙂

I read that, too. Now, who is a good STRONG, (unfortunately, has to be) dead, CONSERVATIVE female that would piss the faggot Libtards off to no end?

I was thinking of Sarah Palin, but unfortunately, she’s not dead yet.
How about Amelia Earhart? Any other suggestions?
      NOT Eleanor Roosevelt.
Golda Meir? Or would it have to be a US citizen?

      • June 18, 2015 at 4:38 pm

        Valerie Solanas.

Pros: man hater extraordinaire; “a trailblazing queer figure”; dead.
Con: white (but maybe she self-identified as black?).

Ok. I was hoping for a more positive figure, but if it pisses off the Libtards, that’ll do as well.

      • June 18, 2015 at 7:52 pm

Ah; you wanted STRONG. I was thinking sarcastic … My bad.

John M, odd that you catch the drift re public gay display but miss it completely re public gun display, so let me illustrate by paraphrasing your gay comment:

“How is an openly gay pair any different than the husband and wife or the boyfriend and girlfriend walking down the street? It’s just another couple…it only catches your attention because you’re not used to seeing it.” See? A couple of dudes holding hands might offend my personal sense of right and wrong, but it’s none of my damn business as long as there is not an in-your-face affront or a lascivious display in the booth next to mine at McDonald’s where I’m treating my grandbabies to a Happy Meal, but if it is it becomes a genuine threat to me and mine and I would either leave or take whatever other action was appropriate, like complaining to management, or kicking the fucker in the balls if any, should things escalate to that point.

So you like to wear your pretty Colt holstered in your Sunday-go-to-meetin’ hand-tooled holster walking down Main Street? Cool, and in fact in Fla until concealed permitting went into effect it’s the only way you could legally carry, and as an FFL for over thirty years I sold hundreds of handguns along with a free primer on what was legal and acceptable and advisable (all different things btw), and while most customers never open carried, some did and all was right with the world.

But that’s not good enough for some; so-called “activists” and attention whores who love the in-your-face approach, upsetting gentle people and scaring the blue people aspect of OC, will sling an AR or AK up front and at low ready and then march into Starbucks just for the shock factor and to make a spectacle under the guise of asserting their “rights”, with no regard for the rights of others. Sound familiar? Kind of like a decked-out and flamboyant “queen” doing exactly the same thing ostensibly to assert his “rights” but really just to piss you off and get his jollies from the shock value? Same exact fucking thing, brother, except that instead of me just herding my family out the door, the freak with the AK stands a damn good chance of getting a 9mm or three to center mass if I believe his dumbassery might develop into a genuine threat situation for my babies.

That’s what is meant by carrying “at” people as opposed to just exercising his God-given and Constitutionally-protected rights. Intent and context are key to most things, and the gay flaunting that you mention and the gun flaunting I’m discussing are exactly. the. same. thing…except that the latter could get the flaunter, or more importantly an innocent bystander, killed.
