Day By Day

  • B Woodman

I LOVE it when the Libtards start eating their own.

And they start waking up from their FWEEEINGS and start facing the contradictions of the realities they’ve made themselves.

“You are entitled to your own opinion. You are NOT entitled to your own facts.”

    • Gyro

Many never wake up. They continue trying to stuff the square peg of reality into the round hole of their theories. When they fail, they just give up and say “I guess that’s just the way things are.” Look at Europe for good examples of this. Look at Greece for the best example.

      • pyrodice

Normally they blame people for sabotaging their peg when they were’t looking.

        • Bill G

          The top line is Instapundit:

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as “bad luck.”

          • Ming the Merciless

Actually thru-out history, the normal was slavery…Diogene was remarkable for his advocacy of shedding reliance on slaves, of unheard of self reliance. Antique man could not take a shit without a slave wiping his ass. Slaves died of misery and beatings around 24 year old. Slaves were 95% of humanity.

      • I have long maintained the theory that the liberal mind is made of of tiny compartments, and every “idea” they have is kept in solitary confinement, so that their heads don’t explode from the cognitive dissonance should any of the contradictory ideas come together like matter and anti-matter.

      • B Woodman

“All we need to do is pass just ONE MORE LAW, THEN Socialism will WORK!”

        • interventor

When, they go full blown commie, its just kill another thousand or so and it’ll work — 180 million dead and counting.

    • JTC

“ILOVE it when the Libtards start eating their own.”

“Where did you learn about that stuff?
YOU, okay? I learned it from watching YOU!”

Yup, they learned that internecine cannibalism from the “wings” of the Republitards…specifically, the wing-tip and wing-nut factions.

      We are so screwed.

      • JTC

And of course once the “journalists” have chosen by attrition who the ‘pub nominee will be, it won’t matter to them which dim is still twitching, Matthews/Todd et al know they’ll be humpin’ on the left side…like it matters.

      • Calvin

Haven’t you heard of the 11th commandment? Thou shalt not speak badly of republicans. Of course, republicans were different when that was said. You need to narrow your focus to the establishment republicans. The Tea party wing is always reminding the EWR of what the Constitution is supposed to stand for and the promises that they made when campaigning. It is the EWR that is trying to not eat but to smother the Tea Party wing. Of course we know that reminding anyone of how the Constitution works is tantamount to treason to some members of the body politic.

    • Doc Savage

Its a bit fun to watch how quickly they will turn on their own.

  • Blue Quasar

+10 points for a Young Frankenstein reference.

    • MasterDiver

      It’s pronounced “Frawn-Ken-Steen!”

  • Fox2!

Looks like the “Minders” the Shadows placed on their dupes in Babylon 5.

    • MasterDiver

Hello, my name is Morden. What do you REALLY want?

      • Mordante

I want to live just long enough to be there when they cut off your head and stick it on a pike as a warning to the next ten generations that some favors come with too high a price. I would look up into your lifeless eyes and wave like this. Can you and your associates arrange that for me, Mr. Morden

      • Pamela

“I’d like to live just long enough to be there when they cut off your head and stick it on a pike as a warning to the next ten generations that some favors come with too high a price. I would look up at your lifeless eyes and wave like this.” Vir Cotto.

Have they figured out that supporting demons has a price, and that price shall be paid, and soon.

        • Fox2!

        • B Woodman

B5 was my favorite sci-fi series of all time, better than Star Wars and the entire Star Trek franchise combined.

  • Wayne M

    Damn your eyes…

    Too late!!

  • Eye-gor was only a physical cripple. Chris Matthews is a moral cripple. Way worse.

  • LifeofTheMind

Surprised that Chris didn’t work in the “Young Frankenstein” line “Great Knockers.”

    • B Woodman

      Maybe tomorrow

    • B Woodman

“You take the blonde, I’ll take the one in the turban”

  • Snafu F. Ubar

This ‘coffee spill’ business- I am telling you! Tonight I barely muffled and suppressed a burst of laughter. And it was the WRONG time-just after a Lenten service. I wonder if Matthew’s hump “tingles?” – just a hunch.

Keep up the very good work.

I think your word balloons take us back to some of the really good (and dense) work done in the early 20th c.

  • Flit Andersen

Chris, wonderful stuff. Was wondering – With JKF-Lite (John Kerry) pissing & moaning about Senators interfering with the President’s foreign policy (if it can actually be CALLED that) isn’t it time to work in some John Kerry “Mission to Nicaraugua” references? Or better yet, “Mission to Paris” references? Yes, old news, but the hypocrasy is so staggering…

  • Bill G

Auyp. Ask not for whom the bus rolls. It rolls for thee.

  • Boobie the Rocket Dog

    “Obamites?” Naw. Obamarrhoids.

  • Gideon Reed

    Somewhere Marty Feldman is smiling.

  • Roy

What happened to the “tingle” going up Chris Mathews leg?

    • Gideon Reed

      It drizzeled back down.

    • Pamela

With the amount of tingles he gets, shouldn’t he have hairy palms by now and have gone blind too?

  • Left: “When will they ever learn; when will they ever learn.”

Me: How about never? Does never work for you?
