Day By Day

Oh, f##k! NOW I’m jealous! I wish Zed would give me one of what he gave Damon!

  • Swansonic

    To paraphrase The Great Gallagher:

Jan’s will remove unwanted fingerprints from walls.

Damon’s will remove unwanted walls from fingerprints…..

    RPG’s will remove it all.

  • JTC

Well hell, can’t make out what that one is, but it does look capable of taking care of bidness. Question is, what bidness are they going there looking for? A nice little family vacation to relive their early times seems lovely, but if it’s a place fraught with high drama and danger, doesn’t seem like such a relaxing interlude.

Hell, you don’t have to go to Italy for that…take a walking tour of Chitown or Overtown and find all the opportunity for that kind of excitement you want. Maybe they and Daddy Don should refocus on the primary precept of self-defense; the best way to win a gunfight is not with a double-stack nine, a long mag of 7.62, or even an RPG, but to avoid surroundings and scenarios where you might get into one.

Fuck Europe right now. I’m not going looking for battle when I know that soon enough it is going to come looking for me. And when it does I will do everything I can to keep my family out of the line of fire, not place them in the middle of it.

    • Random Internet Guy

It appears to be an MP5K of some flavor. It’s the tiny version of Heckler & Koch’s ubiquitous MP5 sub-machine gun, typically chambered in 9MM.

    • JSStryker

      Well said JTC!

I want central Europe and the mountain where I have family that has lived for 900 years to be able to survive the sociopaths like Junkers, Merkel, Soros, Macron, Sutherland, liberal democrats, and others who have been moving to ensure they become Muslim along with the brainwashed people of Western Europe. I will visit them with or without the God given and man made tools to defend myself. Where I will travel to next year to visit family for the first time is still one of the safest places on Earth. The path there has the dangers created by the sociopaths and Islam’s asymmetric invasion armies.
“Look at what happened in Sweden last night” is now a valid question everyday to ask about Sweden. As it is now a valid question to ask across much of Europe (and the world). Islam has been advanced across Europe by the genocidal actions of many that have been in power at the highest ranks of our government and governments across Europe, the Middle East, and the world.
A similar object as shown there would be good to legally carry under my coat or in an accessible bag or briefcase.
This is now a very old war. It was a very old war when Muslim pirates took our people as slaves in oceans across the world which resulted in the US Marines being dispatched in the newly built first blue water US Navy fleet across the world to include such places as the Indian Ocean, The Barbary States and ‘the shores of Tripoli,’ and more.

      • Pamela

Please watch your six and I hope everyone in your family and friends are weapons trained and know when to go old school.

      • Kafiroon

The thing that may doom Europistan whether the moslimes overrun it or not, is the African population growth rate. Africa cannot support all the people there now and they are heading to Europe.
But since a majority of them are/will be moslime…Meh.

        • NotYetInACamp

I have heard ZPG type propaganda since I was a child. Western Civilization went to ZPG and less.
Now that is being used to justify the invasion of those who do not support those they birth.

The population growth could have been handled and moderated by proper actions. The sociopaths in government, religions, and business guided actions to bring about the ability to grow these insfeedable, un educable, un job createable, etc people who are to be used as cannon fodder to continue the conquest of those they could not conquer by direct military action. They lost on the battlefields.
Our responsibility is now to our own culture and peoples. We could have helped others solve their nations problems. Instead the worst paths for the world were intentionally chosen.
Our duty is to protect our own. Those we could have helped must be left off the lifeboats that have not already been swamped by the invasions. Our duty is steel and lead for all who invade. Our duty is to treat the weapon they are using, islam, as Islam treats and has treated others. Our duty is to apply all power needed to such of the traitors who are causing and assisting this destruction. Justice is not revenge. The destruction caused by the jihads that destroyed Classical Western Civilization must be prevented from extending further that they have already extended recently. Only drastic defeats of Islam stop it for any extended periods. The Gates of Vienna victory led by the Polish King and Christian nations’s armies resulted in Islam being mostly removed from Europe in the time up to the 20th Century. It is only with the EU and EC that the armies of Islam have advanced across most of Western Europe and are positioning themselves for a final killing asymmetric blows against the infidels. The blood will flow worse than it is flowing now. That much has already been set in place. The military age asymmetric armies are in place across Europe. Erdogen wanted 50,000,000 more to enter within the year. That has been opposed. When the battle engages in earnest, the blood flowing must be slanted 1000 to one, at least, against the invading cult.

    • Browncoat

      Yes… Thank you.

  • Please keep me and the Mrs. and our dogs (and all of our friends) in your prayers. The Thomas Fire in Ventura is literally hitting my home town. We have been on high alert in case winds shift or the fires changed direction (or a new fire crops up near us). We were without power from 10 pm Monday night until 9 am Tuesday morning. Had friends of mine with their dogs and cats stay with us overnight as their neighborhood was extremely close (scary close) to the tail end of the fires downtown. Another friend/couple may have lost their home up in the foothills. Thankfully, for now, our house is ok (but only less than 4 miles away from the fires). These cold/dry/blustery Santa Ana winds are to remain through Thursday. We’re not out of the woods yet.

    Prayers much appreciated!

    • NotYetInACamp

Prayers for you and all effected.
I hope that better fire fuel management practices will be eneacted in California in the future.

      • David

Unfortunately, even if they start doing proper fuel management immediately, the next fire in any area is going to be a big one.

And when you combine it with the very high winds we’ve had over the last couple of days, the fires go from nothing to huge _very_ quickly.

I was listening to the scanner as the Ventura County fire went from nothing to 500 acres to 2500 acres in under an hour.

The other big fire near Sylmar is right on the west edge of the La Tuna Canyon fire we had a couple months ago.

I’m about midway between the two (close enough to see the one to the west, and if I went up to the top of the pass to the east, I would have been able to see that one as well)

    • WayneM

Thoughts and prayers headed your way, Trubador!

    • Too Tall

Prayers up, and may God bless you, your family, and your community with gentle rain falling softly across your lands.

    • Sent, for sure.

    • Alex J

Prayer wheel is spinning. Stay safe, Friend.

    • Pamela

We had to go out to the desert yesterday and saw the smoke clouds and ash. On the way back on the 5 South, there were groups of 4 and 5 Fire Trucks and 3 to 5 police cars headed north. We found out after getting home that the fire had jumped a ridge. God Bless Trubador, the Misses and the critters.

    • Kafiroon

We will keep praying for safety and protection of homes.
Maybe poor forest management is part of the prog. plan to put us all in old 50’s style Soviet concrete jungle housing to preserve “green space” and take away cars. Burn us out.

      • NotYetInACamp

Agenda 2030 plan to place all in towns in 200 square foot apartment “homes” in high rises. Trains to join population centers. the rest not in population corridors will be vacant (Like they are emptying outer LA County by Code Enforcement destruction). Soviet housing may be better than what they have planned for our trendy “don’t own anything, only rent, future.
I think i saw a movie like this recently. All by Design.

    • Thank you all for your prayers, concerns and well wishes! The winds have died down a bit for today, but that means that the thick smoke has seeped over to our general neighborhood. The gusts will bump back up tonight through tomorrow night.

The fire jumped the 101 to the coast at Solimar Beach (just north of Ventura). La Conchita on the coast is in evac mode). New fires have popped up in Sylmar and Santa Clarita (that smoke trail from those fires I drive through to get to work). The I-5 is (or was) closed north of L.A. Now, with the Skirball Fire in the valley, the 405 is closed between the 10 and the 101.

And I just heard back from our friends Deb & Joe (Deb was co-Maid of Honor at our wedding almost seven years ago). They lost their house. Completely gone and leveled except for the fireplace. Crushing!!!

    • Delilah T.

Done, Trubador. Most positive thoughts sent your way.

  • Pete231

Could be an MP-5. Very handy for CQB. BTW, CMP in AL and OH are getting ready to release for sale thousands of surplus M1911s. Get ’em while they’re hot ! I need one to go with my M-1 Garand I picked up a few years back. Talent is hitting a target no one else can hit. Genius is hitting a target no one can see……

    • Deplorable B Woodman

If Bill’s link is what I think it is, the CMP requirements to purchase one of those 1911s is ridiculously high and expensive.

      • The requirements haven’t even begun to be set yet. First, the pistols have to be released by the Army, then sorted and inspected by the CMP. I’ll bet the first ones won’t go on sale for a couple of years.

  • Rey

Looks like an MP5PK or maybe an Evo Skorpion (that’s a reach). Good choice either one although I’m partial to German hardware.

    • JackDeth 72

I’m opting for an MP-5K (Mini) in a FAG (Fast Action Gun) Bag.

Favorites of businessmen, their bodyguards and the Secret Service dating back to the days pf Reagan, when Uzis were the sexy.

      • Bob in Houston-Vast Right Wing Basket of deplorable!

H und K makes a special briefcase for the MP5K allowing you to fire it without ever taking you hand off the briefcase handle. Just the briefcase costs more than my Zenith made HK licensed clone.

        • JackDeth 72

Saw several first generation briefcase and FAG Bags while in at a restaurant in Honduras where a bus boy let slip a tray full of dirty plates and everybody hit the deck!

Instantly restored my faith in Capitalism.

  • Let’s hope this is a “have and not need” scenario.

  • bill3542

    that was i was thinking… MP5 stubby.

  • PaulS

    “From southaphrica?”
Blast from the past, Lethal Weapon II reference.
    Kinda looks like an SD89.

    • Chris Muir

      Nailed it,Paul.MP5k,actually.

      • SgtCpt

Darn. Thought it might be the MP7. Some of the German troops we worked with in Afghanistan carried them. They joked that they were issued to Soldiers who couldn’t shoot. Wicked little thing in 4.6×30. Could shoot through one of our vest with the ceramic plate in it.

  • Spin Drift

So, is she going to carry it in a thigh rig? That’s something I’d like to see. Having run a mooselimb gauntlet in the Frankfurt train station last fall and am going to Chitown next week, I would love the ability to have a “little friend” to keep me company. It’s a sign of the times that I feel safer in downtown Shanghai than I do in Chicago.

    • Kafiroon

God Bless You Spin! Keep you safe.
But daughter got back safe Monday from a long weekend walking around on the Mile/Near Northside.

      • JTC

How can a set of charts be shocking, tragic, unsurprising, and hilarious all at the same time? That was good.

It appears daughter’s demographics and geography are lower risk but tell her not to be pushing the odds though.

    • Delilah T.

Going to Chicago? Drive with ALL car doors locked, period, even in daylight. It was bad enough 30 years ago, but it’s far worse now.

  • Daniel Schwartz

Nice! (But I’d recommend a micro-Uzi. Gets the job done, AND annoys the Euros by merely existing.)

  • Pamela

Is that thing hard to grip and hold…

    • Spin Drift

That’s what my wife said. I told her it only takes practice. And practice makes perfect.

      • pyrodice

yeah, but what about the gun? ;P

  • MommaMackie

The thought has occurred to me that, actually, the most dangerous thing that they may be taking with them is that son of theirs…..

  • Old Codger

OT: Prez Officially Recognizes JERUSALEM As Israel’s Capital!

For over twenty years U.S. presidents have used the option to waive official recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel. They did it in the name of forwarding the “peace process” between Israel and the (so called) Palestinians and it has ACCOMPLISHED NOTHING! So the Prez has decided to do something different. Clinton W, and Obozo all promised to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel then reneged on their promise first chance they got. Mr. Trump promised to do so also – AND DID IT!

    WATTA MAN!!!

I really like his reasoning. If not recognizing Jerusalem for twenty years accomplished nothing then it was high time to try something else! So he did! The bozos before the Prez all kept trying the same thing while expecting different results. Einstein called that insanity. Could it not be argued that Donald Trump is the first sane man in the oval office in at least 20 years?

    • NotYetInACamp

Islam only recognizes strength and force. Especially after it has been applied to them. That is their history, and present.

  • Nemo

Now let’s get the damn border wall built!!
