Day By Day

  • Too Tall

    The Red Drive is priceless….

  • Too Tall

And as soon as Jo touches the drive she downloads the entire contents.

    • No flies on you, o Tall One!

      • GruntGi

        Hmmm. Interesting plot point.

      • John M.

But does Jo have any provision to download her database?

Oh heck! Javier better no find out, I’m sure he has a “backdoor” into Jo’s systems… and imagine the havoc that a very intelligent pre-teen boy could do with the “red Drive.”

    • Punta Gorda

Candid nudes can be dangerous… and thrilling.

They help with long deployments. “Keep yer ass alive and this is yours”

      • Punta Gorda

Alligator playground is 5 by 5.

  • John M.

Can I make a backup copy of the “Red Drive?” It’s better to store backups at an off-site location…

    • Probably be out around June 1st or so…

      • John M.

Hope I can afford the level.

        • interventor

Not Don Partago, but one level below.

          • Doggo

            Please be one level below!

      • GWB

After the first comment, I was going to ask if that would be shared. 🙂
(I only hope I can afford to support you at an adequate level this next year.)

  • WayneM

Good idea to protect the important stuff…

Jo is about to become a far more dangerous machine.

  • Kafiroon

But what if it is ‘Flashdrive’?
Then all you get to see is a Flash of Red!

  • Pamela

That needs to be stored in the Fortress of Solitude. Too dangerous to be out there.

    • MasterDiver

Put a Stasis Field around it and drop it into the Sun!

      Zar Belk!

  • As politicians and business people have learned, if you never take those pics then there are none to be used against you. They won’t be found by your embarrassed survivors, or recovered from the wreckage.

They will never cause that moment when one partner says to the other “You looked so hot back then…

    • Juan

Ok, the first three don’t matter bug I could easily end up in that last trap.

    • JTC

Destroy them? Are y’all insane? My Polaroids come out from time to time, and being “hard copies” in a couple different ways will never find their way to any drives except my internal one.

There is still the likelihood that they will be found and viewed by the young’uns after we’re gone, but they’ll all be in their 40’s and 50’s themselves and will no doubt understand and appreciate what they represent. Or maybe wifey will catch the leer in my eyes as I peruse them and infer my lustful longing for that time.

She doesn’t especially approve, but she would NEVER insist I destroy them because…well because we’re both 65 now and we were in our 20’s and early 30’s then, and gorgeous the both of us. Those memories and the pictorial record of them are as important to us both as the kids’ baby books.

Destroy them, or worse yet never to have made and have and enjoy them from time to time? I feel sorry for any that have followed that particular bit of oh-so-prudent advice.

      • Pamela

*giggle snort* I burnt mine years ago.

        • JTC

A crying shame, as I’m sure your hubby would agree…unless he was not a participant in their creation. 😉

          • Live in the present.

It’s not having what you want
            It’s wanting what you’ve got

          • Pamela

            He was.

        • Too Tall

So it’s true redheads can get sunburned from flash bulbs?

  • Toxic Deplorable Racist B Woodman

Best to destroy the Red Drive, and all the pics and data it contains. Thoroughly and completely, back to the sand it started from.
“Pics? Me? Nude? What pics? I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

  • Contrarian View

I think Sam’s descendants will not be embarrassed, but will be proud to be associated with so rare a beauty.

(and no, I didn’t misspell “booty”)

        • Pamela

A nice little multi-year Famine can save the planet also. Keep an eye on the weather and the crop loss reports. Also keep an eye on who is buying major tracts of land outside their home countries for playing Future Farmers for World Domination.

      • Kafiroon

I am praying all these doom preachers ‘See the Light’ and lead us in the way we should go.

By offing themselves “To save the Planet”

We have heard these too many people! Were going to run out of food! Several times before. I’m still waiting to have my waterfront property

        • WayneM

Agreed. Any and all who make noises about overpopulation should, at the least, voluntarily sterilize themselves… if not removing themselves from the herd…

          • John D. Egbert

It’s been a few years, but I recall a study that showed that if the entire human population of the Earth (6.5B, or so) were gathered in one place, divided into groups of four (atomic family), and each group given a 1/4 acre plot, the entire mass of humanity would fit inside the borders of Texas with room left over. So maybe we need to add Oklahoma today. What population problem? Isn’t the population density of Wyoming something like 3.5 people/sq.mi.? Canada? Siberia? Bueller? Bueller??

  • Night walker

CCCP. New program same people running the the side show. Sky should have that on a crop top

  • With Zed’s background and former clearance, the data condom would have never been known about. Or rather the data condom would have been known about, but the Red drive would have been somewhere else. There are many things that happened, have been reported/recorded so that something else appeared to happen if at all. And only the people that were there and survived, really know that it happened. You know what they say, if it doesn’t kill you it makes you stronger.

Looking forward to Jo’s accidental blorps as data gets accidentally parsed by inquiring minds.

  • Juan

What I see is the next giveaway for the annual “Keep Chris in Coffee” drive. No more magnets, just red USB drives.

  • JTC

Wasn’t Zed’s entire purpose with the black box to prevent it being stolen/copied/shared?

I’m thinking he won’t be happy that his confidence in Sam was misplaced and their entire lives are now been potentially compromised into the unknown of AI.

As I advised yesterday Red should have left it alone and trusted her man to protect them.

  • JTC

My comment at 10:06 is awaiting moderation? Huh. I musta typed in an error in my email verification or something on this tiny ass iPhone.

    • Chris Muir

Sometimes they are there and don’t go through, no idea why.

      • JTC

Thank you Sir…Thinking Jo might’ve had something to do with it after I impugned her loyalties… 🙂

  • Pete231

    A taste… just a taste, that’s all I ask……………..

    • Pamela

No licking or smelling the screen! 😉

  • Jim Verdolini

Great plot spin, a red drive with all her secrets and assets over the years on display. Perhaps it will encourage others to be more candid.

  • Impeachment hearing went exactly as expected. Networks switched over, both articles voted for on straight party lines, was done in ten minutes.

Did the chairman really not do that last night so Democrats could get the daytime news prestige, or did he suddenly stop because Nadler had to change his nappy?

    • Pamela

I think he just wanted the extra day’s pay for plopping his butt in the chairman’s chair.
