Movies, Hollywood, TV. All things to purge from your life. Everything is better without them and trash they spew.

The “Skyborn” sign looks just like the old “Sky View” sign on Pasadena ave. until it was torn down in the 70’s….nice swing chair, though Sam is a bit overdressed….

You know, one of the nicest things about getting the media, movies, Hollywood and TV out of your life is you can take great pleasure in not knowing the names or credits of the boys, girls, and other actors and comment spewing elites. Life is too short to waste good time trying to remember these people!

My TV burned itself out in 2012. I have not replaced it yet. I do have a library of movies (and books and seashells and dinosaurs and other stuff), and some day, I’ll replace the burned-out TV with one that allows me to NOT watch trash if I don’t want to.

Cooking shows are good. I miss the Smurfs.

We are watching the death throes of liberalism as a mainstream movement.
Their rhetoric will get progressively worse until it morphs into widespread
violence, at which point they will have lost it all, with a few martyrs here
    and there.
I foresee a kangaroo court for the first citizen who kills one of these idiots
while defending him or herself against assault, with a pre-ordained court
decision cheered on by the media:
“Right-Wing Racist shoots child during protest!” or something along those lines.
    It’s coming.
Sitting here reading the news, I feel like I’m watching a school bus full of children,
driven by a madman, deliberately headed for the edge of a cliff.
Nothing I can do will stop it, but I know that I’ll be blamed for not building a
    strong enough guard rail.
Hope you don’t mind a self-serving link, Chris, but I predicted this before the election:

      Days of Rage, huh?
I wonder, if a friend of mine published a harmless book meant as a writer’s guide for sci-fi/fantasy, would those nutballs see it as a threat to their ideology and start book burnings?
Remember, in 1966, religious fundies burned Beatles albums because Lennon said the Beatles were more popular than Jesus, which was tacky but somewhat true.

I learned a long time ago that human mob mentality is more dangerous than a herd of angry swine.

        Never, EVER, go near them.

If you want to record what they do, you do it from a distance because if they catch you at it, and you run, it triggers the predator instinct and they will go after you. In case you don’t understand this, humans are primary predators and are just as likely to attack you in a group as a tribe of African baboons.

Since they overdosed on the reckless endangerment it seems a quick trip to the range could clear those charges, as long as Mike can put rounds only on target and the ammunition involved is documented to not over penetrate.

This judgement is going to get people killed because they are charging the same price whether shots are fired or not, and the scene is better preserved if the threat is DRT.

Well, since she didn’t actually say blood or death in the streets, that article is a misrepresentation of what she did say.

I’d like to add that she got her ass kicked for trying to prosecute ‘climate deniers’ under the RICO Act last year while she was still the US AG.

She’s an idiot. Let her run her mouth. Make sure that a lot of people hear/see what she says and does.

My deepest of dreams is to have a Black Ops crew simultaneously stealthily (duh! what else!) invade the homes of O’Bongo (and Moochelle and ValJar), Soros (and son), UpChuck, Pelousi, Hellary (maybe not Bill – nah, include Bill), McPain; and inject them with a neurotoxin that leaves them permanently brain dead and disabled, sitting in their wheel chairs, drooling out of both ends.
There’s a few more that I could include, but let’s save them for the second wave, shall we?

Merely brain dead and disabled? Your restraint is misguided. My neurotoxin would be a corrosive compound that would slowly eat them from the inside out over the course of fifteen agonizing minutes or so, leaving them with plenty of time to realize they’re dead meat as first their internal organs and then their skin melts away, unable to scream in terror because their vocal chords are already chunky tomato soup.
In the case of Odumbo and the he-wookie, if it could somehow be timed to happen right in front of their two she-spawn, so much the better.

Beautiful art Chris, though I do have to say it pains me to see some of the worst of humanity connected to some of the best American memories.

I can’t say for certain and there don’t seem to be any pics online, but I’m pretty sure that Boulevard Drive-In is the identical the sign of the one that was on Southern Boulevard in West Palm Beach back in the 60’s, long gone of course. And that made me remember the nearby Trail Drive-In right next door to my coin/jewelry shop on Lake Worth Rd in the early 80’s and I just found out it’s still there running one movie per night but mostly supported by the flea market they have there on the weekends…my old store location is now a head shop wouldn’t you know.

But those old Palm Beach County Drive-Ins pale in my memory to the one out by Lake Okeechobee where I sowed my first oats in ’70 and also almost certainly where I became a father at in ’71 at age 17…and also enjoyed the other kind of drive-in on date nights:

    http://poetnthepawnbroker.blogspot.com/2008/12/biff-burger.html

Thanks for stirring those old memories again, and it does tie in to the subject at hand in a pretty sad way, to know those days and those simple pleasures are gone for good.

    • March 5, 2017 at 6:24 pm

Groan…Purple Haze head shop is where my shop “Intrinsics of the Palm Beaches” was.

      https://www.google.com/maps/@26.617712,-80.0975696,3a,75y,158.78h,83.05t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sqN6ia1lcWykosi6MkvbTHA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!6m1!1e1

It was a lot classier area 35 years ago. But hey, the Trail Drive In next door there is a survivor, still “projecting” every night, thanks like I said to the weekend flea market they have there.

Lacking the classy old marquee like the ones Chris reproduced above, but at least there’s no “Progressive Projecting” going on there. Then again, what was a nice middle class neighborhood back then is pretty rough now with Lake Worth High School up the road a ways now considered to be Gang Central of Palm Beach County, thanks to what else but rampant immigration, not many American white kids there anymore. 🙁

I just finished reading the John Ringo series “Black Tide Rising”. Turn off the TV and go on-line to your local library (it’s free) & check out these books. My library here in south DenCO is part of a statewide consortium that allows me to order a book not in stock here from other member libraries. Same goes for DVDs. B.T.R. is a 4-book series about the zed plague that’s unleashed upon the country. Ringo has a pretty vivid imagination and his storyline flow makes “Walking Dead” seem tame. The saga of the Smith family’s ordeal really holds the reader’s attention. Ringo’s analogy between the plague-infected citizens and the current liberal infestation today is purely unintentional. Really. So, unplug the flatscreen and turn off the H/P. Screw the left coast mouth-breathers in Hollywood, keep your money in your pocket, and read these books. Very highly recommended.

    • March 5, 2017 at 5:13 am

Not really a big Ringo fan, but anyone can download free modern science fiction by authors such as Ringo, David Weber, Louise McMasters Bujold and others in CD format here:

These are copies of the CDs that Baen used to include with their hardcover books until they made a deal with (ack-pthht) Amazon. Free to download, free to copy, free to distribute, DRM-free!

The progs have worked steadily to dominate the media and entertainment fields in order that they might use them to condition the public.

Convincing people that they want to buy something they don’t need an that isn’t good for them is psyops; doesn’t matter if it’s Big Macs, a sham-wow, or the Progressive political agenda.

At some point in the late Sixties, when I was in my upper-mid-teens, the converging lines of TV Show Quality and TV Ad Obnoxiousness crossed and I stopped watching. I think it was either the whole series of ads where nobody was using the product advertise; they had all switched to the New And Improved product or possibly the “I need a new, pink refrigerator!” one.
But the shows being put on by the DMC for the DNC are even worse; one program with different casts, over and over again. But they still insist they don’t need to change; they haven’t gotten their message out yet.

Regarding the wire taps at Prez. Trump`s place, I wouldn`t
put anything past Valerie Jarrett, as she was the ‘de facto’

I, for, one, am so FREAKIN’ happy that Trump is fighting back against the Obama machine, it is nearly better than last summer’s swimming hole week!!!

The fact that the proglibs no longer control all the levers of media mean that ht real questions can be asked:

    1) Who authorized ALLLLLL these wiretaps that supposedly captured all this Russian collusion? BY LAW the NSA cannot tap American citizens so it had to be the FBI through the FISA courts? Those sorts of authorization ONLY come from high up in the Justice Department. AND why was this being done DURING the campaign on Trump’s campaign phones?

    2) If they were tapping ONLY the Russian Ambassador for intelligence purposes (a likely thing), why weren’t the REQUIRED safeguards put into place to protect American civil liberties? This is ALSO required by law.

    3) How did these get released to the press?

It sure does seem to me that the Obama Administration authorized questionable wiretaps on an OPPOSING political campaign for the purposes of digging up dirt to use against them in the event they won.

EVERYONE on the left is bitching about Russian interference in the election, and now we know how…the Obama Administration conducted questionable wiretaps to dig up nonexistent dirt about Trump’s relationship with the Russians to de-legitimize his election.

What these dipshits don’t get is Trump was legally a PRIVATE citizen with extensive legitimate business interests with many foreign governments, like ALL American multi-nationals. I guess the concept of running a legitimate business is utterly unknown to these morons.

It’s gonna be a fun, fun week.

I recognize that sign from the Skyborn theatre. It sits right outside the the approach to the runways at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. However, it is more commonly referred to as the “Skyporn” because in the 80s, they showed X rated films. The amusing part is that the screen was quite visible to any plane in approach…

Now that Hollyweird has gone full SJW, how will they shock anyone?

Seriously, the main antagonist is always a heterosexual caucasian male. The only other roles available for white males are: 1) cannon fodder generic baddies who are incapable of shooting straight or basic tactical awareness or 2) useful idiots as backup for the heroic SJW creature.

Have we reached the point where a heroic heterosexual caucasian male can be the shock factor?

I realize most of Hollyweird’s “magic” requires the suspension of reality. I’ve yet to see an SJW who was anything more than a cheap-shot artist whose confirmation bias has convinced them of the righteousness of their pseudo-intellectual morally bankrupt fallacy ridden ideology. Now that Hollyweird is pretending their unreality is incarnate, have we reached the point where a heterosexual caucasian male can be the shock factor? If so, it’s time for another James Bond movie reboot. LOL

    OT (somewhat):
Just watched NBC (Nothing But Crap) Sunday evening news and there was a piece about President Trump’s press coverage. A Prof from George Mason University said that they had done a study of news coverage since Trump took office and only THREE PER-CENT (3%) of the coverage was positive. That means that a whopping NINETY SEVEN PER-CENT (97%) of the LSM’s coverage was NEGATIVE! Other presidents got a “honeymoon period” – even Reagan and both Bushes – but the press has been on Trump’s case from day one! Hell! They’ve been on his case since the evening of the election!

For my money, doing everything you can to make Trump fail and bring him down is like sitting in the bottom of a small boat drilling holes in it in order to get the guy in the front of the boat wet. Don’t these dimwits realize that if Trump goes down, it’s likely to bring the REPUBLIC down around their ears with him?! KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK! Hello? Anybody listening? If the guy in the front of the boat gets wet, the asshole drilling holes in the bottom of the boat gets wet too! He gets wet FIRST!! Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face!
