A group of soldiers serving in Iraq fire back at John Kerry’s perceived slam on U.S. troops by holding up a banner reading “Halp us Jon Carry – We R stuck hear n Irak.”.

Kerr did not spend a full tour in Nam. Official reason was the number of Purple Hearts. Unofficially, probably a section 8 waiting to happen.

Kerry’s run for POTUS was disrupted by a group of Swift Boat vets who made allegations about the validity of Kerry’s claimed activities and his war medals. Kerry accumulated three Purple Hearts but never required hospitalization… pretty neat trick…

The same group raised objections to Kerry’s protest activities after his return including allegations that Kerry pitched his combat medals as part of a protest. Kerry says other vets asked him to return their medals and he accidentally threw those medals instead of his own. Oopsy!!

If they had given me PH’s for similar injuries, I’d have 9… I guess it’s nice to have political connections, and I’m surprised AlGore Jr. didn’t get at least one the same way…

Kerry was apparently hit in the ass by some kernels of rice after throwing a grenade into a sampan. That injury no doubt left him brain dead.

Also, supposedly, he fired a grenade at a large rock and a piece of the grenade hit him in the arm. The medic pulled it out with his fingers and gave Kerry a bandaid.

Yes, that is so. It was a self-inflicted wound (no enemy action was underway, no shots fired, etc.). Unless I am mistaken, self-inflicted wounds do not qualify someone for a Purple Heart.

He was there, but I wouldn’t call it “serving”. He was punching a ticket, while whoring himself for fake Purple Hearts. I don’t believe he was in country for a whole tour, either.

For what he said about our Vietnam vets when he got back, he ought to be beaten to death with Hanoi Jane Fonda’s corpulent ass. Two scumwads I’d gladly go to jail for spitting on. Especially Fonda.

Read it again JLG; As applied by Mr. Muir here, there is nothing worse than “humanitarian” error, and nothing better than humanitarian error.

Before attempting snark, one should consider the source and have a grasp of irony so a brilliantly and obliquely executed point doesn’t whoosh over one’s head and make one look like

Only when humanitarian versus “humanitarian” constitutes the difference between incompetence versus sabotage.

I saw a pic on the net where they were comparing Hermann Munsters face to John Kerry’s. I think Hermann actually looked better.

There was also a pic comparing Ted Cruz to Grandpa Munster. Grandpa’s smile was genuine but Ted looked like he was constipated.

I liked that one show where Grandpa changes himself into a wolf only to find out it’s wolf hunting season and then finds out he can’t change back.

So sad how our military has degraded under this Administration…reminds me of the “do more with less” crap we had to put up with when I was serving in the Clinton Administration.

More like “we forbid you to do anything that is not multicultural”.

The supposition that this lot wants the military to do its job (defending us) is incorrect.

If you look at their records, they don’t want that job done because they don’t believe we (Western civilization) deserve to be defended. In fact, in their minds, we deserve destruction as a penance for all our sins against the more “enlightened, mystical” (i.e., primitive, brutal, and mindlessly violent) cultures in the world, notably in the East.

They resent pretty much everything the West has done, gong back to the Greeks beating the Persians at Plataea in 383 BC. Plato resented that, too; he believed that a Greek defeat would have ushered in a permanent Golden Age of rule by enlightened, mystical “philosopher kings”, which would have included himself as the quintessential Really Smart Person Who Deserves To Be A God.

In fact, the Persians would have demanded worship of their royal line by everybody, including Plato, said demands being backed by the headsman. Their enforcement of same on the Ionians was one of the problems the Greeks had with the Persians.

The modern lot considers Western technology, democracy, etc., to have given the West an unfair advantage, and also believes that in a more “rational” civilization, rule would be by those who show greater “enlightenment”. Exactly how they define that is however so wildly variable that about the only constant index seems to be a rejection of fact in favor of “mystical insight”- in short, Gnosticism.

One of the prime tenets of this belief is that the “initiates” have access to Revealed Truth that no one else does. And that not only are those “others” forbidden to have access, they are not sufficiently “enlightened” to comprehend it anyway. Therefore, they must be ruled by the “enlightened” for their own good.

Also, the material world is inherently evil, and must be destroyed to free all to become truly “transcendent”- a term they use while being unable to adequately explain what it means. They blame this on everyone else not being sufficiently enlightened to understand them, as you might guess.

In short, the heart of modern “progressivism” is a delusional belief in their own divinity and a dependent delusional hatred of reality.

So don’t expect them to ever think that you, the product of a civilization they loathe, deserve anything but obliteration.

BTW- they also believe that they have somehow evolved beyond their origins as part of that civilization, to become something literally superior to the rest of humanity. This is the actual meaning of their endless prattling about “post-modernism” and “transhumanism”.

In Star Trek terms, you may think they believe they’re Data, but in fact they think they’re Apollo. And I don’t mean the spacecraft. (They really hate those.)

Philosopher Kings: Another way to say five bottles short of a six pack.

Transcendent: What needs to happen to that despot in turkey for engineering a “let’s clean house” coup.

Enlightened: They’re just jealous that Danial Jackson was enlightened and ascended, and they never will.

Bottom Line: They are just trying to rip US off. Smoke and Mirrors. Slight of Hand. The OZ Great and Powerful left building a long time ago.

My consoling thought, concerning our “betters”, as eon explained them, is those “enlightened philosopher kings” are actually barbarian hordes that will kill them more easily than those of us that try to fight back. Those hordes are now being coddled here in the U.S. and around the world. Time for me to read Matthew Bracken again.

I recall that during that year’s Republican Convention someone was passing out band-aids with Purple Heart imprints and Steamboat Johnnie’s campaign went ballistic that Bush did not stop it. Bush just said that it wasn’t being done by the campaign and he couldn’t stop an unknown individual from passing out harmless items. This was deemed proof that Bush was unfit for office, as everything else always is.
But I’ve never noticed a democrat campaign even trying to rein in over-the-top liberal B.S.
And now, DWS, having warmed up on dirty tricks in the Primary, is Cankles’ Honorary Campaign Manager for the General Election.

Except that after the DNC’s emails were leaked, Sgt. Schultz had to resign as DNC head, and is probably on her way out, period.

Doing Hillary’s dirty work is one thing. Getting caught at it is something else entirely.

At least Schultzie got a choice. But she should still avoid parks and overseas trips on official aircraft for a while- like the rest of her life if she wants it to be reasonably long.

In fact, she’d better retire to a guarded estate. In Timbuktu.

The DNC has been DYNAMITED by the WikiLeaks exposures.

In today’s ULTRA-left Palm Beach Post, while they say the uproar is because the emails “suggest” that the DNC conspired with Hillary to trash Bernie, they also had quotes from Dems at the scene that used the word “PROVED”. <– That was a column over, but in the article.

It musta kilt them to print it.

Bernie supporters are going through the streets with a Ho-Chi-Minh chant about how "HRC has to go". Bernie supporters might even outnumber Hillary supporters.

Meanwhile, Trump has a trump card: At any debate they have, he can suddenly say,

"Explain to Americans just why you should not be in prison for perjury at this very moment. You lied to Congress when you said you never sent or received any emails marked Secret or Top Secret or SAP… and yet you sent these:"

    <>

“I hold in my hand absolute proof of your perjury, your treason, your destruction of government property. We have not yet gotten to your self-enrichment at the expense of American lives.”

Like Buddy Ebson as Georgie Russell said to Fess Parker regarding The Alamo:

“Davy, this ain’t gone be a fight; this’s gonna be a massacree.”

The Dems are gonna eat their own. BIG TIME. They have already ended the Debbie Does Wasserman thing. I really do not think Hillary is going to get past this.

Unca Walt? Are you aware that all live broadcasts are on a minimum 7 second delay? Plenty of time to switch to the “technical difficulties” slide. Only people who would see/hear Trump’s question (Hildabeast, doubtless, would not deign to reply) would be the moderators (leftists all) and in-house audience (doubtless hand picked by the network broadcasting the debate). I figure the media would not pring a wrd of such a question.

John Kerry is the ketchup stain on the robes of diplomacy.
He is, perhaps, the only American to have a room dedicated to him at a museum run by the Peoples Republic of Vietnam celebrating his actions during North Vietnam’s war of aggression against the South.

So riots in the streets and Debs gets booed off the stage at DNC and rewarded by Hillz for throwing Bern under the bus, Bern keeps to his bargain (what the eff did she give him?) by screaming support for Hillz from under the bus, while Hillz says we have got to fix that crooked DNC which was apparently messed up by the Russkies. That about right?

But the wild card is the Bern’s Frankenstein creation that he now seems unable to control and has the potential to bern the whole damn place down with Debs, Bern, and Hillz inside…would that not be awesome?

What so loudly they screamed as the fires went on steaming.

O’er the stampede we watched as his supporters came streaming.

Kerry was a commissioned officer in the USN. He was court-martialed by a General Court Martial. Commissioned officers, regardless of branch, do not get court martialed for anything less than murder or treason; especially back then.
