Silvertips, with proper expansion would have a nice, shiny silver flower effect, with nice long trailing ribbons beneath. Just sayin’.

Nosler Partitions are my faves. One of the .224″ x 60 grains in 22-250 would make 3500 FPS without much fuss & bother.

HP? How do you holds those things together after leaving the barrel? Let’s see: 1in8 rifling, 3,500 fps = untenable centrifugal force, nay? Had that problem with pushing .30-06, 110 gr hp varmint loads (for flatter trajectory) down range at extreme loads.

At least, that’s what I suspect since I bore sighted at 50 yds and I couldn’t even punch a man-sized silhouette target anywhere on the paper, no matter how much Kentucky-windage used.

Madcat – bullets can spin at over 300,000rpm. Pure lead cannot handle that and will deform. Shred. Blow up at the muzzle. Solid copper or brass or bronze or steel bullets can handle higher rpm than that. Varmint bullets are usually small caliber and jacketed, which means they don’t have much lead core. So they can take it, but they’re getting to the edge of their envelope. Larger caliber bullets have much thicker jackets, a form of brass called guilding metal, which holds them together, along with usually less velocity and twist rate than the little hyper speedy woodchuck bullets.

Pistol bullets are light for their caliber, and designed for lower velocities; thin jackets and soft lead cores, so if you were to use them in a potent rifle cartridge of the same caliber with a relatively fast twist barrel … say a .357 125gr JHP in a .35 Whelen ( a 9mm .30-06 ) with a 1:10 barrel, you’d be really pushing things to the edge. Such a little bullet in such a large cartridge could easily go 3500fps or a lot faster, 3 times the speed it was designed for. It might not shred in the air, but I guarantee it will splatter the moment it hits anything if the shot isn’t at a really long distance.

City Halls always have a 6 or 12 pounder out front by the flag pole.

Line them up for formal photographs, then claim that it was the wrong “flash powder”. You know how primitive the Texans are……..

Kind of like the Clintons but with a bigger bang.

Anyone with any kind of firearms training knows the first thing they teach you is to pick a target, check the background and surrounding area and when it’s safe, then pull the trigger. My thoughts are that he didn’t aim at Ashley, he just shot blindly into a crowd and she was the one who was hit. Like a coward would do.

If you saw the vid, she climbed into the window setting up a single full body target for the pos who certainly had orders to shoot to kill the first once in. She froze when hit and fell backwards to the floor, an instant martyr.

Absolutely invite that one down, the others mentioned, and all of those who preplanned and commanded the murderers.

They all so richly deserve a metal…I mean medal, to be pinned to their upper left thoracic area at speed.

It was a calculated, timed, aimed, and deliberate kill of Miss Ashley. She certainly didn’t “need killin'”. The crowd behind her was mostly military-garbed city police. One such officer, in the line-of-fire for any future such shots, lifted his rifle toward the killer ready to return fire. The killer, probably still obeying orders, ran like hell out of the area, tail between his legs and balls (if he has any) well up inside his groin, no doubt.

Going by the video bro was aiming at her head but used excessive trigger pull and got her in the neck instead. Because cops don’t train. (You can see him bear down on the trigger in the video, it isn’t subtle.)

Why is a Capitol Hill cop aiming at a protester’s head instead of the center of mass? Funny I don’t see that question asked in the media, eh?

He was prepped and planned to kill.

Odd that Red State originally identified the shooter as David Bailey by his profile, physique, and the unique combination of bracelets he wore on his right arm. I saw the video, same as y’all. It was cold calculated premeditated murder. a carefully aimed shot from 4 feet away. He had all the time in the world to yell at her to go back or to surrender, and ample opportunity to use less lethal force. Heck, he could have taken one large step and punched her in the face. Nope, none of that. Execution. And there were a ton of SWAT cops and plainclothes LEOS right behind her who could have stopped her. This was a planned demonstration of force.

Those “heroes” need to be awarded their medals in pairs- – – -loop a rope with a noose on each end over a tree limb, carefully measured to suspend the recipients about a foot off the ground- – – – -then sit back and watch them try to climb each other for a couple of minutes!

And that metals ceremony…dammit I keep saying that, I mean medals ceremony, certainly would carry the PR to the base, a very good thing.

But that PR at the fair blurb is ironic and I just finished a late reply to cb on yesterday’s toon relative to the formation of the CRA. Whereas Ms. MTG has picked up the terminology of National Divorce which is very descriptive of what has to happen but terrible PR, with a negative connotation to many, bringing in Jan whose formal training and experience is specifically PR, could tell them to use the fair also as a springboard to helping create and joining the Constitutional Republic of America, not limited to states per se as is Ms. Greene’s but inclusive of people and counties throughout the country who identify with us and are held captive by their blue states with teeming cities of “voters”. The appeal has to be universal enough to bring them all into the fold, creating a supermajority to take back our freedom and our Constitution.

CRA Now! Now that’s PR, just have to turn it into PA, public action!

When it finally happens, they may get a big surprise. They will be all set up with their false flag in a central location, as before… but the response will not occur in that location, or indeed in any one location.
You wouldn’t believe how many cities have branch offices of the FBI, DOJ, DHS, and so on. It saves people from having to travel long distances to make their point.
