Day By Day

Dayum, Skye still doesn’t get it, does she?

    • Wayne M

No, Skye doesn’t get it. Learning curve close to flat-line.

I suppose this strip will provoke another bloodthirsty rant by KenH…

      • KenH

        Why bother
Outside of asteroidal impact, the bitchbeast is apparently here to stay
        Oh well

        • She serves the role of narrative foil. Without her, everyone just agrees with each other.

          • capn

            Yep Agreed Dr. Mauser BUT

I reserve the right to not like the beatch.

            (wink)

          • capn

ALTHOUGH Moving “the foil” out of the immediate environment makes it difficult to use her personality as an “easy foil”.
            Catch-22? sigh

          • JT

That’s the cost to be paid for having Jan grow up.

  • Skye is a worthless moonbat, and Damon is spot on.

  • Make the Bitch pay rent. That means she has to work or move on.

    • capn

YEP I vote for this option.(as if I actually had a vote here)

I can see Zed giving her the options. Contribute, pay rent or move on.
With the option that she give up custody of her kids, if she really wants to “Be Free”.

    • RegT

Yes. If she can be made to do a slight amount of work down in Brazil, then the same should apply here. Probably part of the original problem with this “worse-than-senseless” thing is that she was never made to pull her weight – or anywhere close to it – realizes it and doesn’t care.

  • Ryk E Lee

Skye has been a self centered freeloader since she first came to the strip. Zed should be getting her up at 5:30 to start the before breakfast chores, IMO.

  • Robert Lowell

Why all the hostility? Cant we all just get along?
    Gag, Gag, speeeeeeeeeeeeeeew

Also test to see if my Gravatar shows up.

  • Bill G

There are lots of closed doors the LSM wants to keep locked, so they can pretend that it’s a mystery what’s behind it.

  • Pamela

“Ah sweet mystery of Life at last I found you”. Only mystery at LSM is they are deliberately blinder than the Three Mice and follow the orders of the Hear No, See No, Speak No Monkeys. There should be a fourth of Think No added.

Skye needs to learn the lesson of “Free” always comes with a price tag.

    • interventor

In India, where the three monkey statue originated, they say there was a fourth monkey. In the West, he’s called Adam.

      • RegT

        Trolling?

    • Don Edwards

I’ve seen a four-monkeys version, with the 4th monkey being “DO no evil”.

(The monkey appeared to be doing absolutely nothing.)

  • SAR-NOW

    “A plot ….”
Masterfully played, Mr. Muir. Masterfully, I say.

  • It’s just obvious that you had originally drawn this with Jan topless in the pool, as all women should be. Your fans are greatly disappointed that you went back and added the purple top.

    • Dread

But where is the bottom Dana? Genius Muir!

    • capn

That’s funny, I don’t remember signing anything that transferred my personal preferences to the custody of anyone else.
While I do appreciate the “natural look” I, personally, won’t presume to dictate content to a Master Craftsman such as Mr. Muir has proven himself to be.
I Might request the “natural look” but am not at all disappointed in the images Chris creates.

      Just sayin’ ….

  • PaulS

I know Skye catches a lot of ire, but Jan shows her own level of cluelessness frequently. She’ll state the obvious, implying that she might be catching on to the flawed thinking, but perhaps not. How many really recover from a mental disorder anyway?

  • NanGee

Agatha wrote a plot where they *all* done it. Like Boehner’s Congress, you know?

  • rooftop voter

Goody, we are getting close to the day that Don Portigo meets Wade…….

    That will be epic!

  • B Woodman

Wait. I thought Jan was better read and educated than that. I used to read Agatha Christie as a teen. Fairly good stuff, for the time she wrote it. One or two of her books still live on in the popular (educated) culture, “Murder On The Orient Express” (everyone done it), and “Ten Little Indians” (I think, later renamed “And Then There Were None”, even LATER to be the basis of the game and movie “Clue”).
Ain’t being a trivia buff fun?

  • Bad Cyborg

Somebody help me out here. I sorta recall Sam and Zed having two girls. Where are THEY just now?

  • Solaratov

I’m sure that Skye – like all leftists – will find some way to avoid any actual work…but make it seem that she’s done it all. But I also doubt that she’ll get away with it for long.

  • jim murray

When I use Firefox, IE, or Chrome i get a blank page. When I use TOR I get the site content. I accused Comcast of filtering my sites but it was suggested that since TOR uses different home IP that maybe Day-By-Day was filtering me out. ?????

    • Chris Muir

      Nope, not on this end.

  • Yeah…Why ARE all these people running around clothed all of a sudden? Did yer Mom walk in?
