The problem with that approach is twofold:
      1) They already know about conditions in Venezuela and have a stock answer which is embodied in AOC’s final dream reboot

      2) Even if they did go, they they wouldn’t learn anything – at least not anything useful. With ideologues “Believing is seeing.”

Well I just found this very informative, good background read. Nevada is what happens when the federal government ignores a Supreme Court ruling and gets away with it. Must make AOC and fellow travelers tingly with anticipation.

Plutonium Fight Exposes Rift Over Federal Government Ownership of Lands

Nevada became a state in 1864 through an act granted by Congress with conditions attached, NPRI says, to which other states were never subject, including the reservation of most land within the state’s boundaries for federal ownership.

In 1865, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled, “the power of the United States over these lands as property was to cease.”

85% federal ownership, 87% federal control, 100% un-Constitutional. No wonder the proggies expect to get away with so much anti-2A stuff.

      kadaka,
Utah (and most other western US states) has the same problem, 70+% FedGov “ownership”.
We remember Slick Willy’s “pen and phone” creation of the Escalante-Grand Staircase National Monument in 96, almost 2 million acres. All while he stood in ARIZONA to make the announcement speech.
We have representatives that are fighting this in court and trying to reverse this, but it’s a long slow slog.
There has been a recent victory with the reduction of the Bear’s Ears National Monument (an O’Bozo “pen and phone” creation, 1.3 mill acres, 2016), turning 80+% back over to state control. And the Libtards are still weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth at President Trump over that one. Ahhhhh, schadenfreude is sweet indeed.

True, but Nevada is unique with the Supreme Court ruling about the precondition for their statehood. Otherwise as the federal government was, as I understand it, the owner of the annexed territories that later became states, to demand the federal government to simply hand it over would be depriving of property without just compensation.

But if there are groups and individuals willing to purchase said land, with whatever deed restrictions are deemed legally permissible to protect nature and wildlife etc, the government should allow it absent a compelling reason otherwise.

First, we have a Bimbo who has stirred the pot, bringing a lot of the sludge to the top.

Then next, we have the NIMBY!!! reaction to the suggestion placing ‘illegals’ in sanctuary cities.

Venezuela’s Bolivar Bridge to Colombia is blocked by Maduro’s attempt at a Wall (using freight trailers) to keep people IN.

There is still a small squatty bunch of ISIS in a town in eastern Libya.

I will just drop this here because we all need to know about as many nutballs as possible and what they are really like. And they love to get attention, just so you know.

    Novara Media / @novaramedia
“We’ve got to go straight to the heart of capitalism and overthrow it.”@GeorgeMonbiot on the only hope we have of stopping
    climate breakdown.

Now, mind you, this person wears clothing, uses electronic gear, and eats food all produced by capitalism. But like Obviously-Confused, he wants to destroy all that. And then there are those charming sorts who want to shut off all modern stuff, e.g., heat in winter, lights at night, etc., and send us all back to pre-Stone Age living. This is all to save the earth from destruction by (whatever they call it this month).

We were supposed to get 1 to 3 inches of snow today. It started at 8:30AM local time and now it’s 6 inches deep and still snowing, which I get to shovel… and I don’t want to do this s–t any more. 🙂 I’d love to dump all that snow on the ecohippies and their pals. They need their own planet, along with Beeto, AOC, the California idjit crowd, the Dumbocraps in general, and then we could get back to normal.

Keep your eyes and ears open. Be aware of the nutballs loose in the world. (Most of them live in crowded cities.) Stock your pantry, fridge, etc., and keep your sense of humor intact.

Portland, OR, is a sanctuary city, but they don’t want any “illegals” and the ratio of white to non-white is 5 to 1, and Portland is not the only sanctuary city that doesn’t want “illegals”.

Like Bette said, “Buckle your seat belts. It’s gonna be a bumpy ride.”

A Florida man was killed Friday after he fell in his backyard and was killed by his pet cassowary, a large flightless bird with sharp talons.

“Each 3-toed foot has a dagger-like claw on the inner toe that is up to 4 inches (10 centimeters) long,” the zoo entry reads. “The cassowary can slice open any predator or potential threat with a single swift kick.”
