So how many of the “Usual Suspects” will be gathered up and how many will become the Resistance… A Kiss is Just a Kiss

That of course is the modus operandi of any given Nazi.
It continually amazes me that these people, who fit the textbook definition of Nazi, call the people they hate Nazis and think themselves virtuous.

But what happened 1/6 was not a coup, as the term is defined. Or an insurrection, or sedition for that matter.

It was a demonstration…a swelling angry protest, and a violent one.

Just like the ones that occurred around the country at the hands of, and the behest of, all of their favored and protected participants. The main difference is that it was just the proles being attacked and killed in those while these capitol protestors are invading the safe space of the effete elites, and scaring them!

They are the same, whether or not they were justified, they were protests against perceived slights and mistreatment by “the man”.

When the regime change comes, and it will, it will be the result of overwhelming and overpowering violence against a false and wrongly installed government, not to simply change it but to destroy it and/or replace it with the legitimate representative of a free people. War.

Starting to think there’s not a lot lost if we shake the whole etch-a-sketch and start over with a foundation of the 21st century, including such things as “ok, shall not be fucking infringed is inalienable too, fuckers”.
and bumping every amendment up by one and making amendment 0 the following:
“Any breach or violation of constitutional law or other amendment SHALL incur these penalties:
For any first offense of a lawmaker attempting to pass a law or laws in contravention to existing constitutional statute absent the REQUIRED amendment process he or she shall be censured by their house, and surrender their power to submit bills and vote on legislation for no less than 6 months.
For any second offense, he or she shall lose their seat, and be charged with felony rights-infringement, AND if convicted in a court of law, shall not ever again be eligible for any government employment excepting hard labor within federal prison.
At any offense, the populace thereby represented may hold a recall election to recover their status as a represented People, or alternatively may invoke the “no taxation without representation” clause and file as Tax Exempt on all affected tax years.

Any official failing to execute their duty to protect and defend the Constitution as written shall themselves be executed. 😉

      New Amendment:
“Prison population reduction: On the event of the obvious murder of a citizen the “next in line” inmate shall be put to death immediately. Next in line will be determined by length of time on death row or length of time incarcerated if not on death row. States and municipality’s are free to act independently, though first in line Federally will always be the priority. As prisoner population drops, prisoners will be consolidated and facilities repurposed, staff can find productive work and leave the taxpayer funded payroll.

      I could go on, but it’s a starting point….

I agree with you in principle, but the problems can’t be fixed piecemeal.
And unfortunately, although the intellectual horsepower exists in this country to revamp the Constitution, the proper reforms will not see the light of day until the populace learns the hard lessons of our failures.
All kinds of solid institutional measures have been proven to work since the Framing, but getting people to accept the necessity of adopting things like Approval Voting, instead of Majority voting, and Staggered Elective Office holding, instead of Continual Office holding or Term Limits, will take both Reason and Will. Both of which are sorely lacking in today’s society.

        Correct. Reprinted here for emphasis from comment above;

The Constitution is not worth revamping.
It is continually ignored, both in spirit and in letter.
Expending the effort to create a new piece of paper that will be likewise completey ignored is a fool’s goal.

Not off-topic. Their nmber one way of spreading their evil while censoring opposition? Yep, Titter.

“Disruption coming” said their CEO a few days ago. Yep to that too.

And I don’t know shit about the semantics of Gab and its private infrastructure platform, but if the dude’s offer to Elon to bypass ISP’s via Starlink is legit, their joint venture could be a whole new “internet”.

And that is another major leg of a new Republic.

The New Industrial Revolution is about energy technology; it radiates into every aspect of GDP and refutes nearly every argument of the destructive and dysfunctional claims and agendas of the world eco reset crowd.

And the uncensored dissemination of information would guarantee that you hear the truth about it all. Huge leaps if that all works out. Largely thanks to Musk. Brilliant nutball with big brass -or make that gold- ones…who else do we know like that?

      • April 14, 2022 at 9:46 pm

Sorry for this length Chris, but this is the letter from the Gab guy to Musk today, could be a big deal…
        Elon,

“I founded Gab in 2016 because I believe in its potential to be the platform for free speech around the globe and I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning constitutional federal republic.

However, since founding Gab I realized that in order to provide a free speech platform you must also have free speech internet infrastructure. Gab has since transformed from merely a social network into a free speech internet infrastructure company. We built our own servers, our own email services, our own payment processor, and so much more not because we wanted to, but because we had no choice if we were going to continue to exist.

What we are missing at the moment is an ISP. I fear that the next big leap of censorship is at the ISP level, with ISP’s blocking access to Gab.com. You solve that problem with Starlink. Together we can build infrastructure for a free speech internet.

I am willing to offer you a Board seat along with equity in the company in exchange for you selling your Twitter position and investing $2B into Gab. My offer is my best and final offer.

Gab has extraordinary potential. Let’s unlock it together.

        Andrew Torba
        CEO, Gab.com
        Jesus Christ is King”

IMHO (Actually, Never known to be particularly Humble)
One of the greatest movies ever made.
THE most beautiful woman in the world – Ingrid Bergman in that scene in that movie. (I know, deliberate soft focus, perfect camera work, composition, etc. None The Less…!!
Humphrey Bogart – Best Actor. (Also for African Queen)

HOLLYWOOD! (Formerly HOLLYWOODLAND) Why can’t you remember to tell a good story, with well-acted scenes; TO HELL WITH THE JUST “FLASH AND BANG”!!!

Well, Flash and Bang plus T&A puts plenty of butts in seats if you don’t pollute it with hard left politics, and other than Clint Eastwood they don’t seem to have a lot of folks who could actually write what you are looking for. OTOH, the British seem to be able to do this sort of thing at will …
