So they are every Venereal Disease that ever was or will be.
That’s lots of shots to cure it. Prevention needs to start now.

  • JTC

“Leftists” are a disease. Don’t want to leave out all the R’s who are just as sick.

A border wall is the cure…need some serious isolation for that shit. The Constitutional Republic is on this side.

What the hell is Sherlock Zed fiddling with there, the Lady’s underthongs??

    • JTC

      Oh…he means the shades?
I thought the panties thing was a little kinky for Z Man.

      • Fox2!

        Thong, or a bustenhalter?

    • TBeholder

      > “Leftists” are a disease. Don’t want to leave out all the R’s who are just as sick.
Indeed. Even after things become crystal clear — «Relapses, relapses are everywhere». Coping mechanisms don’t go away easily merely because “explanations” involved became a step or two more implausible.

      “A border wall is the cure”…….around Mordor-on-the-Potomac.

  • Buck

Yesterday it was the handlebar and front brake lever – today I’m not sure either…

    • John M.

      Fingerless gloves?

    • steveb919

      You got that right!!!

      • MasterDiver

        ZAR BELK!

      • John M.

I do not understand what this woman has done for whirled peas… and I thought that what the Nobel Peace Prize was supposed to be about.

  • My Way Or -->

I’m kind of viewing the libertards as a pot of boiling something, one of those things where a certain amount of scum floats to the top and you have to skim it off to get to the “meat” of the dish. And “libertard” refers in general to those who lean toward that side of the fence.
My bigger concern is the ecohippies that have overtaken Boris’s government in the UK. Its side effects are truly bad, but it is a false religion, which is what “liberalism” seems to be turning into. Just my view, that’s all.

    • JTC

Eco hippies in the U.K.? How about in the boardroom of Gov Motors? See below.

      • My Way Or -->

Oh, they’re everywhere. Boris’s girlfriend is who is influencing all his very bad and very stupid decisions.

    • John M.

Glow-bull worming is just another route to Socialism…

  • JTC

    What’s the old quote?

“As goes Government Motors, so goes the Nation.” Or something like that.

Which does not bode well for either…

    https://www.barrons.com/articles/gm-stock-ev-all-electric-lineup-2035-51611867146

From a company that makes almost all its money on trucks and SUV’s.

Taking virtue signaling to a whole ‘nother kevel.

Wilson. Yes, sir; I could. I cannot conceive of one because for years I thought what was good for our country was good for General Motors, and vice versa. The difference did not exist. Our company is too big. It goes with the welfare of the country. Our contribution to the Nation is quite considerable.

    • JTC

Crap, meant to erase the source quote material.

    • steveb919

I see you spelled it right. GOVERNMENT MOTERS. Ain’t it the truth.

    • “Virtue signaling” is behaviour of the lowly livery crowd. Not for The Great And Good. It’s human equivalent of wagging tail and looking in the eyes with derpy expression.
So, would this happen to GM if it had real power (was at or near the top ranks of the oligarchy)? The same applies to Facehug and its ilk.

    • MasterDiver

The only way EVs will be practical will be to develop a lightweight, easily swapped-out battery. Something like Robert Heinlein’s “Shipstones”. The charging infrastructure just isn’t there. Even if they get the charging time down to an hour, how many people want to sit around a service station waiting for a charger ton open up? Back to the future with the 70’s gas lines!

      Zar Belk!

      • John

The trick is not fast recharge but battery capacity, that is to say greater than human endurance.
If you have enough battery to last all day you can recharge at night, whether that be at home or at your motel.
Oddly enough this may be in the offing with the advent of the solid state battery. And coupled with 4th Generation Nuclear we’ll have the Green New Deal without government “help”.
What do you want to bet Our Glorious Leadership will stand in the way of that?

        • Raconteur

John, The Glorious Leadership stand in the way?? Say it ain’t so! When they get their cut, they’ll grease the regulatory skids and we’ll be “allowed” to have the best that the CCP can produce! (Just as soon as they can steal the designs)

      • Raconteur

The industries are getting very close to batteries with a high energy density, light weight, fast charging time (less than 20 minutes) and the capacity to run an EV (decent size car) for 500 miles.
I bought a 100AH LiFePO4 battery last year, that has a 11 year guarantee and very square power curve. It’s also expensive. Supposed to be good for 2,000-5,000 charging cycles. It holds a charge for weeks (months?) on end. It’s in my sailboat. I charged it the beginning of December and it’s still at float voltage of 13.3VDC. Max charge rate is 50A@14VDC. Oh, did I say it weighs 31lbs? That’s less than a flooded 50AH battery. Size is 13X6.7X8.6 inches. So far, I’m impressed. It had light use this past summer. We’ll see how it does after heavy use this summer.

      • My Way Or -->

There are charging stations in many, many places, but they seem to cluster around heavily populated areas like Big Citeez. Not everyone wants one, either, since a battery will run down faster than a tankful of gas.
I do have a friend whose spouse chose the EV and bragged about it, then got stuck on stormy night in a line behind a dozen other EV cars. Not so happy after that, as it was cold and the heater wasn’t producing enough heat.

      • John M.

I’m sure the plan is they will want you to use your home charging station, and stay within round-trip range of your residence as much as possible.

What no one has explained to my satisfaction is: If they shut down all the fossil-fueled generating plants, where is the electricity coming from? Fairy Dust and Unicorn Farts?

  • Pamela

Too bad We The People can’t send some of the Congress Critters back to Sex Ed for a refresher course on not putting things in unsafe and unsavory places. Or maybe get some giant condoms, stuff the critters in, tie off the ends and throw them into the river. Sit back and watch the spheres bob their way out to sea.

    • Eh Wot?

*Muttering to M’self* “If it isn’t Evil …. It’ll be just fine!” *hearty LOL*

    • Dread

Some how the visual if that has such a calming on me. Thank you. I needed that.

    • MasterDiver

Bring back the Roman “poena cullei”. Tie them in a sack with a cock, a dog, a monkey and a viper, and throw them in the Potomac!

      Zar Belk!

      • Pamela

Or the old middle eastern woman in a sack with cats and toss them into water. Should the woman come out with no scratches and dry, she is innocent.

    • My Way Or -->

OK, but why would you want to pollute the sea like that? Better to send them to their Very Own Island in the Far South Atlantic, near the tip of South America. Drop pallets of MREs on them once a week and then leave. Those islands have water in the form of glacier ice. Just keep them away from the islands with penguins.

  • Kafiroon

All this “electric” BS is showing the progs totally lack of education.
They cannot have wind, solar, cell phones, computers, Nike shoes, and All the many other things they desire without OIL products and existing ELECTRICITY!
We do not have enough of rare earth minerals they ALL require in readily obtainable form.
Worst of all they use SLAVE child labor in Africa and get the rest from China. Probably slave labor also.

  • Halley

The ridiculous moral “superiority” of the Democrats is their impervious shield protecting the exposure of their ignorance and, most of all, bad intentions. Zed is correct, and Thor’s Hammer could not penetrate their refusal to reason or face truths.

It is still impossible to believe that such people are in ascendency, after 4 years of MAGA making them irrelevant and weak, and their bad intentions exposed.

    • John

You need to familiarize yourself with the work of Jordan Peterson.
He points out that we are all born barbarians who must be civilized before being released into the world.
It is the failure to do so by overindulgent and neglectful parents that has left us with an ever increasing population of parasites to support, and democracy as we know it only makes them more barbaric.

      • WayneM

Dr Peterson is simply amazing. His “12 Rules” should be required reading.

  • markm

@MasterDiver: Battery swaps won’t do much good without building more power plants to supply the electricity for the chargers, and beefing up the electrical distribution system to handle the increased load. Of course, the eco-nutzis are going the other way…

    • Halley

MAGA is right now this very minute a supermajority in the USA. It is inconceivable that such a vital, energized mass movement could ever tolerate these fascistic Dark Age threats from a blatantly illegitimate Xiden Administration…

Covid-1984 has not made common sense people deranged the way TDS has the Democrats….

    • Pamela

A Reality Czar? Seriously. Someone must be a fan of Davros and the Reality Bomb. Reality is down twisted right now. It is being skewed to whatever they want. They feel safe doing it. I think a reality check is warranted.

    • President Elect Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH B Woodman

I reject your reality, and substitute my own.

  • JTC

Funny how Elon Musk keeps getting drawn into our discussions of survival and prosperity in the immediate future.

His EV company Tesla is in fact a revolutionary power company and its home base is the new Gigafactory in Nevada. It will produce revolutionary lithium-ion batteries for Tesla (which had consumed nearly all the production from Panasonic etc before) as well as revenue from selling them to others…makin EV’s almost but not quite capable of what the left thinks they can somehow just demand.

But the power systems are more than just batteries, and the energy storage and transportation revolution that is the true purpose will enable a Yuge symbiotic relationship with SpaceX and Starlink. The most vertically (heh) integrated planned technological enterprise on -and off- the planet.

And with a nod to the reality of climate evolution and our contribution to it, but more importantly to gain support or at least reduced resistance from the pretend ecological saviors of the progressive world, his 100M investment in carbon capture is eating their lunch and “cancelling” their anti-human culture in one swoop.

And the dude is on our side…if we don’t screw up the free enterprise nature and embrace of the Constitutional Republic of America to help enable the Brave New Industrial/Technological/Economic Revolution at the hands of super-brilliant and super-rich thinkers/engineers/inventors/investors like him.

We have a way out, but the path is not through fighting old and never-ending battles or even trying to take back the failed edifices of a failed (and destroyed) former Republic but through Separation from it and formation of the next one. It will require those like Elon, and the body and/or spirit of a Trump, but many more like us Deplorables who are willing and able to create it and defend it to the death if need be.
