I thought it was a “Seven Percent Solution,” Watson?

Seven was enough for Holmes to get euphoric (or whatever). I imagine 20% (cocaine to water) would be a fatal solution.

Just keep arguments rational, friends. Remember the old saying about broken clocks being right twice a day. And don’t go out of your way to tick off the other side. Don’t refer to the deaths in Minneapolis as ‘The prey go-to odd Shootings,’ for example…

I’ve tried all the homonyms, anagrams, and spaghetti sauce brands I can think of, and still can’t make sense of that phrase.

Slightly off topic but it is of significant importance that the census procedures be altered such that each state’s count of USA citizens is included as a separate number distinct from the raw head count.

While the raw head count is needed for states to plan for infrastructure and such, the count of USA citizens will be used to allocate Federal Congressional representatives.

Also the count of USA citizens can be used to validate a state’s vote count for Federal elections ie if the number of votes for POTUS exceeds the count of USA citizens in a state, fraud can be immediately assumed.

Not only is that NOT actually off-topic but this drumbeat of mine is relatedly also not off today’s topic…

The wild and unprecedented escalation in precious metal prices (GOLD 5300 TODAY AND SILVER 115, CRAZY!) is absolutely connected to this 20% in the worst possible way.

The rapid descent of the greenback is orchestrated and metals is the fallback currency (as it has always been but nothing like this). There are other factors but those have always been in play; this is different and it is ominous. The dollar has for many years been the global standard of value, but at this rate that will soon no longer be the case. This is not about holding a stash of SHTF wampum, in fact many can no longer add to that stash at this level. So what is THE BIG PLAN?

You’d need a constitutional amendment. The census is defined as counting residents, not citizens.

The Democrat Party should have been declared a terrorist and criminal organization after the conclusion of the U.S. Civil War, and then it should have been abolished along with slavery.

Of course I also realize that in life, a bad penny is always going to keep turning up, so the evil and rotten ideologies that compose the Democrat Party would have just morphed into another party organization. But, in a better and more perfect world the Democrat Party should not even exist.

Antis will always exist as they should. Nothing historically to do with Democrat or not, and certainly no relevance at all to the (first) Civil War except to the degree that the evil and lies and totally anti-Constitutional nature of the initiators of it under the evil lying guise of “freeing slaves” to get what the POS First Rino Lincoln really and admittedly wanted which was total control of the land, ports, and assets of the Resistance…not a damn thing to do with slavery.

Just pushing the Barbarians back from the gate is a very temporary solution. As long as the Barbarians exist, they are a threat.

I think we need to implement Heinlein’s notions of citizenship, and who is (and isn’t) a citizen.

The birthright aspect needs to be sharply redefined. For starters, to be eligible by birth, you must be the offspring of native born citizens. Period. Offspring of naturalized citizens become eligible for birthright only after the second generation (this helps provide some soak time in our culture). Further, naturalized citizenship remains probationary for life; eff up seriously, and you and your family go back.

Also, only native born citizens, themselves the children of native born citizens, are eligible to hold public elective and appointive office at any level of government. No more foreign-born in government office. Also, only native born citizens may vote.

Heinlein had other notions regarding responsibilities of citizenship that also need considered.

Meanwhile, up here the new law of the land is that if anyone spends a non-consecutive total of three years lving here, (and all the ‘student visas’ are valid for four), then even after they leave the country, their future children born anywhere in the world will automatically be Canadian citizens…and their children…and their children…until all of India/Iran/Afghanistan/Pakistan/Nigeria/China etc. is Canadian by ‘birth’ and allowed to vote from abroad.
      We’re done for, save yourselves
