The more dangerous type believe that Muslims will make good “muscle” that they can exploit to their own ends.
They view Muslims as “useful idiots”, unaware that Muslims view them in exactly the same way.
Rather like Ambrose Bierce defining “Love” as “A relationship between two people in which each participant senses supremacy due to the other’s stupidity”.
He makes money, that’s all he knows and he doesn’t care who he has to doublecross or use to get it. Once he outlives his usefulness to his latest clients and they turn the jihad on him because he knows too much, he might come to his senses….but not likely, the majority of that generation only sees the hustle and cares about nothing except a ‘payday’, no matter how they get it…other than taking a real job, that’s for other people.
My childhood was blessed with an education by educators who believed education was for the sake of children who needed the best tools for the future they could produce.
One of the dicta of the times was the observation that Communism was a religion pretending to be a government, and Islam was a government pretending to be a religion.
Both relied on force and fraud to get their way and both were doomed to tragically, often fatally, fail their followers because of this.

So my hope that Mari and Dad were running a double op on this wanna be operator apparently was for naught.
Still that kid has seen a lot and learned a lot from the people and events around her. She will see the hustle and the attempt to hurt her family for what it is, overrule the itch in her nethers, and…
God help the Mister than comes between her and her fam!
I think Jo’s ‘glitch’ may not be what was seen. She was close, had his attention, touched him, could get a read….. and thus Zed could know the intel he has. I am REALLY looking forward to this!
