Is the 19th still even relevant? Why would we need it if the democrats can’t even define what a woman is?

Personally I think we would get more bang for the buck if we tossed the 17th.

If we toss the 17th Amendment it should include the following proviso, that being “The selection of a state’s US Senator shall not be influenced by referendum or other plebiscite and must be the made by the state legislature in its entirety.”

The 17th Amendment came about because a number of states started using referendum to choose their senators. Senators must be beholden to their states, not to the people who paid to get them elected. The 17th opened the door to making Senators nothing more than “super” Representatives and damaged the balance between the House and the Senate.

If we are going after the 17th, freeing the Senators from a popularity contest, we should also look into the 16th. Our founders had an excellent way of taxing the states based on their population.
“Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons,”

The more people, the higher the taxes due from the state, with their Senators watching out how it is spent.

The discussion here points up a major defect in governance.
It’s much easier to pass a Law (or Constitutional Amendment for that matter) than to amend or abolish it because said Law will attract and be defended by those who benefit from it.
The accumulation of defective Law defended by those so Privileged is the ultimate cause of Bloody Revolution.
It’s said Thomas Jefferson claimed that a little Revolution now and then was a good thing, but in my opinion a lot of innocents will be killed through no fault of their own.
Does anyone have an Idea how we can undo the Privileged short of a firing squad?

The firing squad should always be the last resort.
Have you seen the price of ammunition lately ?
There’s always public hangings, Madame Guillotine, involuntary Mars colonists, or throw them in the hippo pen at the zoo and let them be wallowed to death.

The vote should be restricted to those who pay or who have paid taxes. Anyone who serves or served in a ‘first responder’ role, including the military, and farmers/fishermen/other providers for the population retain their vote for life.
Illegal aliens don’t get to vote and those caught harbouring or assisting them lose theirs for life regardless of any other qualification. Any politician is limited to a cumulative three terms in office, regardless of the office held. Politics isn’t meant to be a lifelong career.

All the above methods of execution are good, but I prefer hanging the miscreants by the armpits from an interstate overpass and waiting for an 18 wheeler with a tall trailer to come along. Said overpass should be at the end of about a 1 mile straightaway, for maximum acceleration, plus allowing the guest of dishonor maximum time to contemplate what’s coming!
