While historically true, today we have many people, from Elizabeth Warren to Rachel Dolezal, who are white people passing as minorities.
Therefore she proves that “White Privilege” no longer exists.
One day maybe I will forgive him for the National Review “Never Trump” issue from January 2016. Yes, ten years ago and so much has changed. But I never thought I would be an apologist for Dr. Sowell.

Somebody can’t count- – – – -isn’t Sam half Japanese?
I suspect Zed already knows everything there is to know about this young man (including the time when Sam had to intervene when Mari was trying to explain the size of Master McShane’s johnson, for which Zed was profoundly grateful).
The recent revelation by Mari about Ian just apparently going through some sort of agency training and his first field assignment so close to home also have Zed’s fingerprints all over it.

My SAT was 98 in every category, except math. That was a 32.
It was never the right damned word. Gender like genes, genitals, generations, progeny, and everything else the word-root was ever applied to was about procreation. They mean “personality” so they can have their “there are 8 billion genders” without actually poisoning the word.

I am a Proud American! I have cultural heritage scattered across Europe from Irish Celts to Romanian Magyars (Mostly scattered by the Irish running from irate tax collectors they shot at and missed). They wound up in Canada just to be chased out by the Brits after the Battle of Quebec. You can find branches of the family and variations of the name all the way down from Montreal to New Orleans. There’s even a drop or two of Mohawk Indian, but I’ve never tried to claim it. WAY too far back (1820s). Liz Warren is a fraud and a thief!
I was born with the last name “McKnight” but adopted by my mom’s second husband (an event that I regret). Don’t know much of the McKnight history. Mother’s is another story. Family came from Holstein (like the cows) which was either Germany or Denmark based on the year. Her maiden name was German. I actually have a picture of one of my ancestors who fought in the Civil War and escaped Andersonville (Last name was Weber)
Culture and race should not be confused although at times they follow the same paths. The races all have two eyes, two hands and two feet. The cultures however are so varied, with some being absolutely beastly, that many are simply, and completely incompatable with each other. There’s a few, and they are spreading, that refuse to even get along with themselves. These murderous suicidal cultures infiltrate, divide, conquer and kill off all cultures but their own, and then turn on their own trivial differences. Perhaps it is the fate of the human race to destroy itself.

‘White’ people are also the ones who explored most of the known world and began trading with everyone. Asia had cities and thriving cultures to trade with, as well as parts if the ME. Most of Africa, on the other hand, is still living in the same straw huts they’ve been in since time immemorial, without even inventing the wheel. That’s their culture, unfortunately they’re bringing it here and it’s becoming the standard.
Who is Ian and when did he first get introduced? I have been a dedicated follower of Day By Day since it first started, don’t think I have missed any episodes, but I can only remember a couple of mentions of the name Ian connected with Mari. I don’t remember him ever being seen or any backstory on him before this. What did I miss?
Ian remains somewhat of a mystery man- – – -with the exception of Mari’s comment a long time back that he was “too big”. Chances are that since he’s finally shown up as a real character instead of an oblique reference, his back story might get filled in- – – -or not!
My own ancestry includes mostly Scot/Irish heritage on Dad’s side, with a bit of native American influence provided by my maternal great grandmother, who was part Cherokee. Two of my distant cousins walked 40 miles from Dickson Tennessee to Nashville, to enlist in the Army of Tennessee. At least one survived the damyankee invasion, as I found his name on property tax records in the late 1800s.
