People with egos that size can’t “just leave”. They must make everyone else acknowledge their self-perceived superiority by forcing their submission.

Ultimately, they must destroy everything so they can create their imaginary Utopia atop the ruins. That’s generally the point at which they realize, much too late, that they only know how to destroy, not create.

That’s when the truly irrational violence generally begins, as they are incapable of accepting responsibility, admitting error, or acknowledging their own limitations. Therefore, the failure has to be Somebody Else’s Fault.

And of course, that Somebody Else- Everybody Else– must be punished.

      (Besides, they enjoy it.)

You cannot reason with the irrational. That has never changed throughout history. If you don’t believe me, get a good book on the Peloponnesian War.

It shows that we who are at least halfway reasonable have been forced to fight this same battle over and over again from the beginning of time.

Outstanding reply, eon. May I borrow it for the next argument I’ll be having later today?

We might not be able to get them to leave many places, but we can certainly leave them to rot in their own filth. We need to create our Galt Gulches.

This is why we need a separation: take away the other-people’s-money on which they subsist, take away the food and the manufacturing and the military that supports and protects them, take away the harder-working serfs and leave them to feed their kings and nobles all on their own.

    They can’t leave.
    They can’t fend for themselves.
If they were left alone with nothing to listen to but their own deranged thoughts, eventually their own large intestines would reach out and strangle them.
The good news is, when the government and the societal construct they have imposes collapses, they will be the first casualties.
The bad news is, that’s gonna be one huge pile of corpses to dispose of.

I’d say leave them for the carrion eaters, but the stink and possible plague issues, they will need to be buried with quick lime. Only do it away from water sources.

Do you realize how much CO2 that will release into the atmosphere?

For an idea of how progs view productive members of society, read “Former People”. It describes how the nobility was hounded and scapegoated by the Bolsheviks. The worse their mismanagement and the results, the more they blamed the “Former People”.

Well, look at the Greeks…trying to put the blame on Germany for their improvidence…while most of the debt is NOT to germany, but France, England…even Italy…and they even dare ask for “reparations”…Hell, England liberated the ungrateful jackasses! Remember the demon-rats blaming the banks for loaning to unemployed homies…that the democrats forced them to loan to…

I do so love the fact you are on EST, Chris. I can get DBD right before bed, and it influences my dreams. Dreams influence my speech, and maybe my speech can influence someone someday. You rock.
Oh, Skye? Learn this. According to your own guides from early on, you don’t work, you don’t eat. All of these later gimme programs are but to lure you in to allow the monarchy to rule.

What is it they want? 90% reduction in population? They can only do that once they have absolute power.

Another thing progs hate is laughter. Laugh at them three ways. Long. Loud. Often. Interrupt their speeches. Make them work to make a point. Make them mad. Make them lose their cool. They hate that most of all.

Chris, anything on internet difficulties today? I couldn’t reach your site (and others) until after 2pm EDT. Some of the other sites were totally unreachable (like yours) and others were intermittent. I don’t think it was my provider, since most tracerts went out beyond the gateway before they died.

Chris, got some fireworks and other hot stuff ready for the 4th? Gotta push that red bar the rest of the way, ya’ll, so take a few minutes from your celebration and relaxation to check in at DBD to see what’s up (heh), and kick in a few more bucks to git ‘er done!
