12.7 x 99 mm (.50 cal BMG). Range in excess of 2 miles, limited by curvature of the earth to less than 3 miles. Personal preference for the Barrett brand. Ronnie Barrett and his colleagues in Tennessee know how to build superb tools.

The Instruction Manual is easy to read, and extremely difficult to execute.

I’m sure Pamela, Polly Cy, and the other fair ladies of DBD truly appreciate the first panel, but it reminds me I’ve got to get back in the gym.

Sam is correct about one thing in the second panel. Among the tools required is a large pair of large, hardened, metallic, ones in complete working order. Soi Bois need not apply.

Exactly. We gun owners are supposed to go to bat for the very people who want to kill us and eat us with fava beans and a nice Chianti?

I might add that in their support for the rioters and looters, the advocates of “reasonable gun control”, who talk about “public safety”, “trust the police”, “the 2nd Amendment is outdated”, “the Constitution is a living document”, and of course “do it for the children!” are showing their true colors.

They hate the police, they love the criminals, they want chaos and destruction, and in their Utopia everybody else would be defenseless and at their mercy. Which is nonexistent, as they have proven over and over again.

So, fuck that shit. And to Hell with them. They’ve made their bed, they can fucking lie in it.

      Alone.

      Or to put it in terms I learned at the Patrol Academy;

The answer to that question is simple.
They think people who abide by the Law on principle are Patsies, because, of course, they have no principles themselves.

The instruction manual is Article 5 which shows the states how to take control back from a bloated, power hungry Federal Government by having a Constitutional Convention. The trick here is get 34 of the states to agree to have one. Then we can turn being a politician back into a civic duty instead of a career choice. Set some term limits. Get Rid of the IRS by enacting the FairTax. Make the medical benefits they have available to the people.

A corrupt Government has educated our youth. This new (and last couple of) generations have been so indoctrinated, that they don’t see the problem. They have been raised to think the Progressive way of life is good. From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs. That the Capitalist free market is bad. They want the people and the State Governments thinking that they have to depend on the Federal Government to support them in order to function.

The liberals are all screaming about a problem of race and color inciting people to riot at protests when it is the Federal Government that has created that very same problem of race and color. And it is the Fed who maintains it as a way of keeping their political power. They continuously push the masses to look for and see all the differences, instead of governing in a way that looks for the similarities.

But I am just preaching to the choir here.

Undisputed accuracy as to the disease DuckHunter, but terrible and fraught suggestions for the cure.

A ConCon would be the opening in the granite wall of the Constitution they have been looking for, and the “FairTax” is both a sieve for corruption and a final nail in the coffin of small business.

        I concur.
We must only step on the path to a Constitutional Convention after long, well considered and deliberate rational debate, but I fear “rational debate” is no longer practiced seriously simply because the politicians who determine the school curricula have systematically eliminated critical thinking in favor of establishing a gullible electorate.
        And guess what we’ve got?

      • June 6, 2020 at 12:23 pm

You are assuming that every amendment proposed at a Con Con will be ratified by 38 states. The stupid ones aren’t even likely to make it out of the Con Con. The marginally stupid ones aren’t likely to get the 38 states they need to ratify.

If they’re even slightly smart, they will put a time limit on ratification.

        interventor

I suspect Congress might be friendly towards passing amendments such as time limits for their sorry selves, if faced with the real probability of a Constitutional Convention.

        JTC

No Sir. I am *presuming* that the stupid ones will overwhelm to the extent of gridlock dragging out for years* with the ever-present danger that enough stupid ones representing an electorate that is already incredibly stupid/beholden and could very easily become overwhelmingly so in 38 states.

Guaranteed cost vs. possible but very unlikely benefit analysis says no fucking way.

*”…slightly smart…”? Who the hell are we talking about here? These yahoos can’t come close to doing their job now, can you imagine what they could do with a prize like the Constitution when if administered with truth serum they would ACROSS THE BOARD admit to either their hatred of it or their conviction that they can fix it? See NFW above.

Considering all the pandering we see out of all the Democrat/Prog/Media to racism, “protests”, plundering, and violence including killing:
They would hijack a Constitutional Convention in an instant and we would come out as North Korea.
Let them try to overtake the country.

“Progressives want Social Justice. They’re about to get it.”

Quit that whining Sam…it is out-of-character, unbecoming, and unnecessary if you listened to your husband’s statement above.

And the Big Brass Ones? Well they hang around in pairs until called to active duty to come to the aid of their Country…or their Woman.

Thinking she doesn’t need Zed to handle some of those tools for her, as she has proven pretty capable physically and mentally to handle most firearms and other “rifles” too. Not sure about that .50 though, fired a beautiful Barrett twice thanks to a friend; man that damn thing hurts without secondary bracing. Another day, another case of too much wordy blather by JTC. Oh well.

Anyway their big solution to the myth of the extent of police brutality and racism?

“Defund” the police. You know, fire the cops, and replace them with administrative rules and regulations. That’ll fix this whole thing, just get rid of these racist murderous pigs and everything will be all right.

Loudest voice for this is in Minneapolis from the mayor and council members there, and you know the media and peeps in the street think it’s a great idea. Not sure about the actual citizens and biz districts but they themselves asked for this shit and as Zed warns, they are about to get it. That city is 60% white with a popo pop. of 80% white, and a black population of 18% with cops at 8%. No wonder they want to start here; dump these white boys without hurting many brothers, so we can replace it with something good after we thin out this herd of virtuous sheep.

Good luck with that there in St. Olaf, you buncha Rose Nylund wannabes. It’ll be a great model for national rollout.

Yes “reimagine” public safety in cities. Reimagine sounds like an ode to that dead Marxist hippie John Lennon and his pathetic song “Imagine.”

I vaguely remember a gaggle of celebutards singing this song online in the early days of the CCP Virus shutdown.

Perhaps the rioting, looting, mayhem and burning have a direct correlation to that stupid celebutard video a few months ago …
